"Wednesday" Season 2 Drops Trailer
Netflix has finally dropped the official trailer for the second season of the Jenna Ortega-led series "Wednesday," launching on the giant streamer in two parts on August 6 and September 3.
According to an official series logline, the show follows 'Wednesday Addams' years as a student, when she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a killing spree, and solve the mystery that embroiled her parents.'
Ortega, who is also producing the second season, returns as the titular 'Addams Family' daughter.
She is joined by Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), Victor Dorobantu (Thing), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Deputy Ritchie Santiago), Jamie McShane (Sheriff Donovan Galpin), and Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester).
New series regulars for Season 2 include Steve Buscemi ('The Big Lebowski'), Billie Piper ('Scoop'), Evie Templeton ('Return to Silent Hill'), Owen Painter ('The Handmaid's Tale') and Noah Taylor ('Park Avenue'). Christopher Lloyd ('The Addams Family'), Joanna Lumley ('Absolutely Fabulous'), Thandiwe Newton ('Westworld'), Frances O'Connor ('The Twelve'), Haley Joel Osment ('Somebody I Used to Know'), Heather Matarazzo ('The Princess Diaries') and Joonas Suotamo ('The Acolyte') also join the new season in guest star roles. Lady Gaga is also appearing in a mystery role.
Tim Burton returns as director alongside Paco Cabezas and Angela Robinson.
'Wednesday' co-creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar serve as showrunners and executive produce with Burton, Ortega, Natalie Testa, Steve Stark, Andrew Mittman, Tommy Harper, Karen Richards, Kayla Alpert, Jonathan Glickman, Gail Berman and Meredith Averill. MGM Television produces.

Yara Sameh The 2019 Turkish series "Sefirin Kızı" ("Daughter of the Ambassador") is getting an Arabic version. The Arabic redo features Lebanese sweetheart Carmen Bsaibes and Mahmoud Nasr. Jamila Awad Joins Hassan El Raddad in Film "Taha Al Gharib"
Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Jamila Awad is joining hands with actor Hassan El Raddad for the first time up in the film "Taha Al Gharib". "Taha Al Gharib" is directed by Othman Abu Laban and produced by El Sobky Film Productions. It is based on the novel of the same name by the writer Mohamed Sadek. Awad can be seen in Egyptian-Canadian actor Mena Massoud's first-ever Egyptian film, ' Fi Ez El Dohr ' (In Broad Daylight). The cast also includes Shereen Reda, Eman Elassi, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Mahmoud Albezzawy, Mahmoud Hegazy, and more. 'Fi Ez El Dohr' is a thriller-suspense genre that revolves around an international gang whose head is Massoud, and as his gang commits crimes across the world, he finds himself caught up in romance. The film was written by Karim Sorour and directed by Morcous Adel in his first directorial debut. Adel Saad produced the pic via his new production company, Signal Films. Awad, born on April 6, 1991, was raised in an artistic home as her father is film director Adel Awad, her mother is actress Randa, and her grandfather is comedian Mohamed Awad. She made her breakthrough playing Hania, a young drug addict, in the 2015 TV series 'Taht El-saytara'. The actress is best known for her roles in TV productions such as 'La tutafiy alshams'(2017), 'Ella Ana' (2020), and 'Harb Ahlia' (2021). The singer released the black and white music video on Tuesday, which was directed by Cole Bennett and features his wife Hailey Bieber and son Jack Blues. In the visual, the trio soak up the sun on a yacht. It also shows Justin Bieber singing, dancing and surfing. Justin and Hailey Bieber tied the knot September 13, 2018, in an intimate wedding ceremony in South Carolina. The couple welcomed Jack, their first child, in August 2024. "Yukon" is featured on Justin Bieber's seventh studio album, "Swag," which was released July 11. According to a press release for "Swag," the new album is "inspired by [Justin Bieber's] devotion as a husband and father."
