‘MTV Roadies Double Cross': Allegations of bribery against Prince Narula, his wife
Mumbai: The latest episode of the adventure reality show 'MTV Roadies Double Cross' saw the allegations of bribery being levelled against gang leader Prince Narula and his wife, Yuvika Chaudhary.
A contestant claimed that Prince demanded 'Rs 20 lakhs' (Rs 2 million) from them to secure a spot in the competition. The drama unfolded when host Rannvijay cracked open a contestant file containing allegations that Prince takes money in exchange for a guaranteed spot on 'Roadies'. The claim shook the room.
Prince was quick to shut it down, as he said, 'Mera bhai pichle paanch saal se aa raha hai auditions dene aur last year ke baad usne finally band kiya auditions dena kyunki uska nahi hua! Aur maine kisi ko nahi bola ki mera bhai aa raha hai please dekhna, khud auditions de aur aa'.
Then contestant Dayali claimed that someone told her Siwet, Roadie from last year, got in only after finding contact with Prince's wife, Yuvika. Prince's patience snapped, he said, 'Dekho mere tak baat hoti na, mai kuch nahi bolta, but ab tumne meri wife ka naam liya hai'.
Things took an even wilder turn when Siwet was called in. Then Rakesh, the original source of the claim was called. He completely refuted the money angle. His statement exposed the entire story as a tangled web of rumours and false claims. Prince then said, 'Tujhe lagta hai hum bikau hain?'.
With emotions running high and contestants breaking down in tears, Rannvijay stepped in to warn the audience against believing every rumour, reminding everyone that scams and frauds exist everywhere.
This week saw 15 contestants, some of which impressed the Gang Leaders with their skills, from Zorawar's 17 Guinness World Records to Muskian's jaw-dropping yoga stunts, they made it difficult to choose the best contestants from the cluster.

We're planning a trip where she's going to come and see me in LA.' Hilton filmed across the city for 20 days and also made a stop in Abu Dhabi at Etoiles nightclub in the Emirates Palace hotel. 'My first time in Abu Dhabi, Huge!' she posted on Twitter. But Paris Hilton's Dubai BFF would face delays as the production companies behind it fought multimillion-dollar legal battles in Dubai and Los Angeles. The US-based Lionsgate Television later sued the Dubai-based Uniqon Emirates LLC, the local partner and producer, for $8 million (Dh29m) claiming they had failed to cough up $4.7m that was crucial to the show's completion. The show finally aired in June 2011, following delays, and Kuwaiti contestant Reem Al Alnezi was revealed as the eventual winner in the ninth and final episode. Paris Hilton's Dubai BFF was the final show in the series. Speaking to The National ahead of the show's premiere, Hilton spoke of receiving offers to film the series in other countries but decided that it was time to call it a day. 'I've really enjoyed doing it, but I have enough BFFs,' she giggled.

The fan-favourite 'Mission: Impossible' film series has been going strong since 1996, when Tom Cruise first played secret agent Ethan Hunt. Over the years, fans have watched him save the world again and again - often performing dangerous stunts himself. After breaking several box office records, Tom Cruise's performance in ' Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning ' earned him a Guinness World Record. He set the record for most burning parachute jumps by an individual after jumping out of a helicopter 16 times with a fuel-soaked chute set ablaze in a stunt for the final instalment in the action franchise, reported Deadline. "Tom doesn't just play action heroes - he is an action hero!" said Craig Glenday, Guinness World Records editor-in-chief in a statement. "A large part of his success can be chalked up to his absolute focus on authenticity and pushing the boundaries of what a leading man can do. It's an honour to be able to recognise his utter fearlessness with this new Guinness World Records title." Cruise and the stunt team spent weeks preparing for the action in Drakensberg, South Africa, before ascending more than 75,000 feet in the helicopter. The actor then jumped with the flaming parachute, cutting himself free and deploying a backup parachute. For several of the takes, Cruise had a 50-lb. French town breaks smurf number world record
Landerneau, population 16,000, on the far western tip of France's Britanny region, had tried twice before to wrest the record from Lauchringen, a town in Germany that managed to gather together a seemingly unassailable 2,762 smurfs in 2019. 3,076 people But on Saturday, the French challengers finally pulverised that record, assembling 3,076 people clad and face-painted in blue, wearing white hats and singing smurfy songs. "We smurfed the record," said one participant. Smurfs, created by Belgian cartoonist Peyo in 1958 and called "Schtroumpfs" in French, are small, human-like creatures living in the forest. The fun characters have turned into a major franchise that includes films, series, advertising, video games, theme parks and toys. In 2020, an initially successful bid -- with more than 3,500 smurfs -- was invalidated by Guinness World Records on a technicality because of a missing document. Landerneau's smurf enthusiasts were almost ready to give up but film production company Paramount persuaded them to have another go. Paramount, which is set to release "Smurfs, The Movie" in July, convinced them with an offer to handle the event's PR and provide 1,200 free tickets for a preview of the film.
