The Young and the Restless spoilers: Victor loses a company to Aristotle Dumas?

Another day, another theory to unpack involving The Young and the Restless' Aristotle Dumas. Despite us speculating that the mystery business tycoon is either Cane Ashby or Tucker McCall (our best guess being the former), Aristotle's real identity is still a closely guarded secret that only Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) knows the truth about. Additionally, while it's been stated by Amanda and Billy (Jason Thompson) that Aristotle is going after Chancellor, we have no way of knowing if that's truly the case until Aristotle makes his move.
Zeroing in on this point about Chancellor, it's crossed our mind that there's a possibility that Aristotle isn't going after the company, but merely putting that rumor out there to provide a nice distraction. Perhaps Aristotle wants Victor (Eric Braeden) so focused on protecting Chancellor from a hostile takeover and keeping Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) at the helm of the large corporation, that Victor lets his defenses down when it comes to his other businesses — Newman Enterprises and by extension, Newman Media. Is the crown jewel of the Newman patriarch's legacy under attack?
Even if Chancellor is really what Aristotle is after, who's to say that he won't settle for Newman Enterprises or Newman Media as a consolation prize of epic proportions? Again, Victor is so focused on protecting Chancellor and so distracted by his feud with Jack (Peter Bergman) and quest to break up Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire (Hayley Erin), that it's hard to imagine he has been paying as close attention to the company he built from the ground up. When you add the fact that Michael (Christian LeBlanc) is no longer working for Victor, doing his dirty work while protecting him, Victor may be a bit more vulnerable to attack these days than he was previously.
Now, to be fair, we'll happily acknowledge that Victor has a winning track record in business that should squash any doubt that he'll beat Aristotle. Plus, Victor has Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam (Mark Grossman) to have his back in corporate combat.
However, Victor was once dealt a mighty blow thanks to the Prentiss family. Additionally, Victoria has a lot on her mind lately with Cole's (J. Eddie Peck) health and her daughter's love life, Nick is busy denying his resurgence of romantic feelings for Sharon (Sharon Case) and Adam is trying to manage being Victor's pitbull while being the 'new man' he's promised to be for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).
Having said all that, with Victor having been a thorn in the side of many Genoa City residents recently, we think he may be owed a serving of humble pie, served courtesy of Aristotle. Whether that be Aristotle hostilely taking over Chancellor or acquiring a Newman brand, we can imagine Victor suffering a setback. But we should note, even if one of our theories proves true this go-around and Victor loses a battle with Aristotle, The Mustache will likely ultimately win the war.

Many of the Netflix Originals I pick end up on our list of the best Netflix shows and best Netflix movies. Not all of them but I want to give you multiple options depending on your taste. Netflix's overall list this week had quite a few returning shows but I wanted a balance of original and popular ones, so there's a fair blend here. There's lots of crime, but that's Netflix for you. So let's find you something to watch on Netflix this week: We begin the week in Spain, for a six-part crime drama about a former spy called Sara. Woman in the Shadows is about this woman who forces herself to return to the intelligence game because she wants to get revenge for the death of her son. However her task sees her having to confront some uncomfortable facts about who her son really was. Releases on Tuesday, June 3 Shaquille O'Neal probably needs no introduction, but the famous basketball player has since his sporting days proven just as successful in business. And his new docuseries coming mid-week explores that side of him. Power Moves is a part-sport, part-business docuseries about Shaq's time leading the Reebok Basketball brand. He tries to revitalize it using his knowledge and passion for the game as well as his financial and branding acumen. Releases on Wednesday, June 4 A beloved though also divisive drama series returns to Netflix this week with Ginny & Georgia season 3, which gets all ten episodes of its new run at the same time. The show is about a mother and daughter (and the mother's other child) who try to find a way to settle down after being on the run for many years. In the season 2 finale, Georgia was arrested for murder, so season 3 will show Ginny trying to free her. Releases on Thursday, June 5 Shane Gillis' home-made workplace comedy Tires returns this week. The first season was made and funded by the divisive comedian and it was successful enough to get Netflix to create a second. Tires is about the workers of an auto shop who struggle to keep in business despite the incompetent and nervous owner, and the slacking attitude of everyone else. Season 2 follows them struggling to come to terms with unexpected new success. Releases on Thursday, June 5 Another Korean action series lands on Friday, June 6 with Mercy for None, which is set among Seoul's seedy criminal underbelly. Mercy for None tells the story of Gi-jun, who was a mob enforcer but left his brother and that life (and the city) behind over a decade ago. However when his brother is killed, Gi-jun returns to the city to find the murderer, a journey which involves fighting lots of the gang members. Releases on Friday, June 6 His partnership with Netflix mostly focuses on TV shows, but prolific creator Tyler Perry has a new movie arriving on Friday, June 6 which he wrote and directed. Straw is about a single mother called Janiyah whose daughter is sick. Janiyah is struggling to keep caring for the child and something happens which pushes her to the edge. Releases on Friday, June 6 We travel to Australia for our final series of the week, which is based on a book by Jane Harper. The Survivors stars Charlie Vickers and Yerin Ha and it's set in a fictional town in Tasmania. The Survivors is about a young boy who leaves said town after the mysterious death of two children and the disappearance of a third. Fifteen years later he returns to the town, this time with a wife and young baby in tow. However another murder takes place, and it sparks off an investigation which seems linked to the last crime. Secrets are revealed which affect the man and his family. Releases on Friday, June 6

Northern lights may be visible in these 23 US States tonight

Northern lights could put on an impressive show tonight (June 1) as ongoing geomagnetic storm conditions may push auroras farther south than usual, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Earth is currently reverberating from a speedy coronal mass ejection (CME) impact that struck in the early hours of June 1, wreaking havoc on our planet's magnetic field — great news for anyone hoping to see the northern lights. Space weather forecasters from the U.K. Met Office predict frequent G1 to G2 level storming and occasional G3 and even G4 level storm intervals possible June 1-2. Read more: Aurora alert: Ongoing powerful geomagnetic storm could spark more northern lights across the US tonight The NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center predicts that the Kp index will peak at 7.67 over the next 24 hours. For an up-to-date breakdown of timings, check out NOAA's 3-day forecast. (Kp is a measurement of geomagnetic activity, with an index that ranges from 0 to 9; higher Kp indicates stronger auroral activity.) Aurora chasers, get those cameras charged, fingers crossed and your eyes firmly fixed on the skies! You can also keep up with the latest forecasts and geomagnetic storm warnings with our aurora forecast live blog. Alaska has the highest chance of seeing the northern lights tonight. If G3 or even G4 storm levels are reached, auroras could be visible at high-latitude states, including Michigan and Maine, according to NOAA. Below, we have listed all 23 states that appear either fully or in part above the possible view line for auroras tonight according to NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center. They are ordered most likely to least likely based on their proximity to the auroral oval's center and how much of each state is within or near the view line. But remember, auroras are fickle — sometimes they appear much farther south than predicted, and other times they barely show up at all. Many conditions have to align for the perfect display. But as we approach the summer solstice on June 20/21, the window of darkness for observing northern lights is shrinking; the early morning hours around 1 and 2 a.m. might be the best time to try and see the northern lights. Interested in tracking space weather and knowing when and where to spot auroras? Download a space weather app that provides forecasts based on your location. One option I use is "My Aurora Forecast & Alerts," available for both iOS and Android. However, any similar app should work well. I also use the "Space Weather Live" app, which is available on iOS and Android, to get a deeper understanding of whether the current space weather conditions are favorable for aurora sightings. Google's AI push overshadowed by an awkward date error

The tech giant wants its Gemini AI model everywhere and plans to put it in all of its devices. It also plans on bringing its AI into more of its services. One of those services getting the AI upgrade is Gmail. Over the course of the upcoming weeks, Gmail users will begin seeing AI summaries of their email, according to a blog post from Google. This summary will provide bullet points of what was in the email as well as any follow-up replies to make sure you're up to date. This feature will only be available on emails in English. Those who don't care for AI summarizing their correspondence can opt out of the feature, but it will be enabled by default. Google began instituting AI features into Gmail last year by having Gemini provide instant replies that no longer sounded generic. At the same time, Google is implementing new AI features, but some people have found the company's AI is far from perfect. A post on Reddit went viral earlier in the week when a screenshot of an interaction with an AI summary on Google Search was unable to determine what the current year was. And yet we can't turn this off from r/google In the screenshot, the individual did a Google search asking, "Is it 2025?" The AI summary they received apparently had issues with the question saying, "It is not 2025. The current year is 2024." Other people on X posted similar results. Wired did multiple tests over this prompt and confirmed the issue. In one case, the AI summary reiterated that it was 2024, but said that in parts of New Zealand and Russia, it was 2025. It even went on to contradict itself, saying that it was 2025 after claiming it was 2024. A Google spokesperson says it was working on the problem. 'As with all Search features, we rigorously make improvements and use examples like this to update our systems. The vast majority of AI Overviews provide helpful, factual information, and we're actively working on an update to address this type of issue,' Meghann Farnsworth, a Google spokesperson, told Wired. As of the publication of this article, Googling "is it 2025" returns with an AI summary saying, "Yes, according to the provided information, the current year is 2025." It remains to be seen if this problem will happen again in 2026.
