The Young and the Restless spoilers: Victor loses a company to Aristotle Dumas?

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Another day, another theory to unpack involving The Young and the Restless' Aristotle Dumas. Despite us speculating that the mystery business tycoon is either Cane Ashby or Tucker McCall (our best guess being the former), Aristotle's real identity is still a closely guarded secret that only Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) knows the truth about. Additionally, while it's been stated by Amanda and Billy (Jason Thompson) that Aristotle is going after Chancellor, we have no way of knowing if that's truly the case until Aristotle makes his move. Zeroing in on this point about Chancellor, it's crossed our mind that there's a possibility that Aristotle isn't going after the company, but merely putting that rumor out there to provide a nice distraction. Perhaps Aristotle wants Victor (Eric Braeden) so focused on protecting Chancellor from a hostile takeover and keeping Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) at the helm of the large corporation, that Victor lets his defenses down when it comes to his other businesses — Newman Enterprises and by extension, Newman Media. Is the crown jewel of the Newman patriarch's legacy under attack? Even if Chancellor is really what Aristotle is after, who's to say that he won't settle for Newman Enterprises or Newman Media as a consolation prize of epic proportions? Again, Victor is so focused on protecting Chancellor and so distracted by his feud with Jack (Peter Bergman) and quest to break up Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire (Hayley Erin), that it's hard to imagine he has been paying as close attention to the company he built from the ground up. When you add the fact that Michael (Christian LeBlanc) is no longer working for Victor, doing his dirty work while protecting him, Victor may be a bit more vulnerable to attack these days than he was previously. Now, to be fair, we'll happily acknowledge that Victor has a winning track record in business that should squash any doubt that he'll beat Aristotle. Plus, Victor has Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam (Mark Grossman) to have his back in corporate combat. However, Victor was once dealt a mighty blow thanks to the Prentiss family. Additionally, Victoria has a lot on her mind lately with Cole's (J. Eddie Peck) health and her daughter's love life, Nick is busy denying his resurgence of romantic feelings for Sharon (Sharon Case) and Adam is trying to manage being Victor's pitbull while being the 'new man' he's promised to be for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Having said all that, with Victor having been a thorn in the side of many Genoa City residents recently, we think he may be owed a serving of humble pie, served courtesy of Aristotle. Whether that be Aristotle hostilely taking over Chancellor or acquiring a Newman brand, we can imagine Victor suffering a setback. But we should note, even if one of our theories proves true this go-around and Victor loses a battle with Aristotle, The Mustache will likely ultimately win the war. New episodes of The Young and the Restless air weekdays on CBS. Episodes become available to stream on Paramount Plus the next day.

What Happened Today On Young and the Restless May 28? Traci & Diane Bonded

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, May 28 saw Traci coming home, Claire party planning, and Victor making a scene. The Abbott mansion had a warm glow today, literally and emotionally, as Traci (Beth Maitland) returned home to a refresh that wasn't just cosmetic. Diane (Susan Walters) was proud to show off the updates and hoped they would impress her sister-in-law. Traci, still fragile after her devastating fallout with Martin (Christopher Cousins), found the new atmosphere comforting. She could feel the heart of the home beating stronger than ever. While she praised Diane's efforts, Traci couldn't help but open up about her lingering heartbreak. Diane gently reminded her that needing love doesn't make her weak. The conversation was heartfelt, with Traci admitting she still missed the way 'Alan' once made her feel. But now, she was focused on writing through her pain (literally) by turning the chaos into a novel. MORE: Find out what's coming up on Y&R. Jack and Diane finished welcoming Traci with open arms. Harrison (Redding Munsell) made an adorable appearance, and Traci quietly disappeared upstairs to settle in. Over at the Jazz Lounge, Claire (Hayley Erin) was on a mission to throw Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) a birthday party fit for a queen. Something classy, intimate, and unforgettable. With Pietro's (Jai Rodriguez) help and Kyle's (Michael Mealor) support, Claire was determined to make a statement, not just to Nikki but also to Victor (Eric Braeden). She hoped the night would show her grandfather that Kyle was the right man for her. Kyle tried to stay optimistic, though he knew winning Victor over was no easy feat. Still, Claire was all in, even helping Harrison pick out the perfect gift for his honorary grandmother. Meanwhile, Newman Enterprises was brimming with tension. Nikki confided in Victoria (Amelia Heinle), worried that Victor might ban Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) from attending her party. With Michael's abrupt resignation and Victor's finger-pointing at the Abbotts, the atmosphere was thick with suspicion. And, she was right to worry. Later, Jack confronted Victor at the GCAC, the temperature rose further. Victor brushed off the confrontation, but Nick picked up on his father's growing paranoia. Dumas's name continued to circulate, and it seemed Nikki might be at the center of a brewing storm. Afterwards at the club, Victor pivoted from rage to romance by surprising Nikki with a refurbished music box that played one of her early compositions. It was sweet—until their conversation swung back to Dumas, Kyle, and Claire. Victoria pushed back hard against her father's interference, warning him not to sabotage Claire's happiness. Victor, unbothered, clung to his conviction that Kyle would only break Claire's heart. Back at the Abbott mansion, Jack and Diane welcomed Traci with open arms. Harrison made an adorable appearance, and Traci quietly disappeared upstairs to settle in—perhaps finally on her path to healing. One thing's certain: between broken hearts, big birthdays, and budding tensions, Genoa City is on the edge of a storm.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Cole's mystery illness leads to three big shifts?

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. For months now, we've been wondering where in the world The Young and the Restless' Cole (J. Eddie Peck) has been. Shortly after the holidays, and following Victor's (Eric Braeden) shocking everyone by giving Cole his official seal approval and a job at Newman Enterprises to boot, Cole disappeared. He wasn't around when Jordan (Colleen Zenk) resurfaced to unleash terror on the Newmans, he's been MIA as The Mustache interferes in his daughter's relationship and his relationship with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) seemingly stalled. Well, our questions about the author's whereabouts are finally answered in The Young and the Restless episode airing on April 24. He returns to Genoa City having been away, touring the Newman Publishing divisions around the world. In this triumphant return, he lavishes both Claire (Hayley Erin) and Victoria with love and gifts at the tack house, then meets with Victor at the main ranch. Victor and Cole chop it up about business, of course, but their conversation eventually pivots to Claire dating Kyle (Michael Mealor). The Newman patriarch again expresses his discontent with the relationship, but Cole counters that his daughter has the right to make her own decisions regarding her love life. Victor remains unmoved in his position, and he even tells Cole that because he's a new father, he doesn't know what it's like to see his child be devastated by heartbreak. Later in the episode, Cole again meets with Claire and Victoria for lunch, where Claire shares with her parents that she and Kyle are moving in together. While #Vole supports their daughter's decision, they're fully aware that the move could really ruffle her grandfather's feathers. Unfortunately, in the midst of this family reunion lunch, Cole has a bit of a coughing fit. While he dismisses the cough as basically nothing, we're pretty certain it's very much something. If we had to guess, Cole has a mystery illness that may put him in a life-or-death situation. Should our hunch prove correct, we can imagine three big shifts occurring on the soap's canvas. Kyle and Claire put their big move on holdWe have to consider the possibility that once Claire becomes fully aware of her father's health, she may decide to put off her move with Kyle, opting to stay at the tack house with her parents. Clarie hasn't had a relationship with her birth father for that long, so if she suspects he may be dying, she might want to be around him as much as possible. Someone exploits the situation to break up Kyle and ClaireIf Claire does pump the brakes on the big move, or even finds herself spending less time with Kyle to spend more with Cole, we have to wonder how that will impact her relationship. Kyle likely would be understanding, but someone like Summer (Allison Lanier) or Audra (Zuleyka Silver) could exploit any perceived "distance" in #Kylaire to their advantage. With Summer and Audra both wanting to break up the couple, Cole's illness could sadly present the opportunity for them to achieve that goal. Victoria spirals and becomes hardenedJust when Victoria finally finds love again with someone who doesn't have a troubling vice, who isn't trying to con her or her family and who Victor actually approves of, Cole develops a mystery illness. If the sickness puts him in a hospital bed, or worse, kills him, Victoria is probably going to be devastated and forever changed. It's possible she turns to a vice, as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has in the past, to deal with her emotions. Could Victoria develop a problem with alcohol? Even if Victoria doesn't develop a bad habit, she may be on edge and have a low tolerance for her family's usual backbiting and scheming. She could lash out at Victor for his continued nonsensical attack on Jack (Peter Bergman) and the Abbotts, and give him an earful for his continued interference in Claire's love life. Oh, and if Kyle does fall victim to a trap set by Summer or Audra and hurts Claire, she may become the fiercest mama bear in town. For now, this is all speculation in terms of the impact of Cole's mystery illness. We just hope Cole isn't on his way off the soap for good. New episodes of The Young and the Restless air weekdays on CBS. Episodes become available to stream on Paramount Plus the next day.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Michael Baldwin's Resignation Push Victor Newman Over the Edge?

In the Friday, May 23 episode of The Young and the Restless, long-standing alliances begin to fracture. Michael Baldwin is ready to walk away from Victor Newman's perilous orbit, but as the past has shown, exiting Newman Enterprises is never that simple. Meanwhile, Diane Abbott finds herself increasingly uneasy over the choices her son, Kyle, is making — especially when it comes to his recent interactions with Audra Charles. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) delivers on the promise he made to his wife, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman), by resigning from his role under Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Viewers saw this vow during the Wednesday, May 21 episode, where he swore off Victor's morally murky tasks for good. However, Victor doesn't take rejection lightly, and Michael's decision may ignite suspicion rather than understanding. Could Victor perceive this as a betrayal — perhaps even as Michael aligning with the Abbotts? At home, Lauren's joy at Michael's resignation may be shadowed by skepticism. Having seen him backtrack before, she fears this might be just another empty promise. Her growing anxiety could signal future turmoil in their marriage. Meanwhile, Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) is dealing with her own parental concerns. Her son Kyle (Michael Mealor) has been playing nice with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), raising eyebrows — including those of Claire Newman (Hayley Erin). Though Claire's reaction stems more from disapproval than jealousy, her harsh judgment raises questions, considering her own family's history of manipulation and deception. With Diane watching from the sidelines, Friday's episode may offer a glimpse into Kyle's true motives. Is he scheming against Audra? And if so, will Diane or Claire step in before things spiral? As The Young and the Restless heads into Friday's drama-filled episode, tensions rise on both the personal and professional fronts. Whether it's Michael risking Victor's wrath or Diane fearing the worst for her son, one thing is clear: the past never stays buried in Genoa City — and neither do secrets.
