Newly-acquired defensive lineman Davon Godchaux currently wears number 92 for the Saints. He's one of several new faces brought in by the team this offseason. The first to wear 92 for the Saints was Haynes, who did it for six years, 61 games, and 23 starts. Overshadowed behind the Dome Patrol for most of his career, Hughes served as a solid backup for the iconic foursome and had four career sacks along with an interception.
Winston followed Haynes up to work behind the Dome Patrol in the back part of their era, serving mostly on special teams for four years. Mickell came on as a free agent in 1996. He was a solid defender for otherwise bad teams, recording 6.5 sacks in 25 starts over two years.

Chase quietly had 5.5 sacks in 1999, his second of two years on awful Mike Ditka Saints squads. Bryant was stuck behind outstanding New Orleans defensive lines for his two seasons but still managed 6 sacks and 7 tackles for loss.

Ayodele was a quiet but very effective contributor during the Saints run to a Super Bowl XLIV title. He started 29 contests between 2009 and 2010, recording 2.5 sacks and 6 tackles for loss while adding a touchdown on a fumble return.
Most of Rogers' career was built with the Lions, but he was a productive run-stopper for one year in New Orleans towards the end of his career. Hughes had a similar resume'; productive with the Browns early before ending his career with the Saints.

Between Rogers and Hughes was Jenkins, a massive third round pick in the 2013 draft. Jenkins had only 1.5 sacks and 6 stops for loss in three seasons with the Saints, but was at times immovable at the line of scrimmage against the run.
Davenport is easily the most controversial and criticized No. 92 in franchise history. New Orleans traded up in the 2018 NFL draft to get him at the 14th overall choice. While Davenport flashed immense potential, he never did so consistently and missed a ton of time with nagging injuries.

All told, Davenport missed 21 full games and most of several others over his five years with the Saints. He countered that with modest career production of 21.5 sacks, 60 QB hits, and 25 tackles for loss.

Kpassagnon came to the Saints in 2021, then switched to No. 92 in 2023 after Davenport's departure. He had 3.5 sacks and 13 pressures in his first year after the number change, but missed most of the 2024 season with an Achilles injury.
Godchaux was acquired in a trade with the Patriots this offseason in exchange for a 2026 seventh round draft choice. The former LSU and Plaquemine Senior High School star now returns to his home state after four years each with the Dolphins and Patriots.

Patriots star Stefon Diggs dodges 'personal' questions related to viral boat video
Stefon Diggs, who landed a three-year contract with the New England Patriots this offseason, showed little interest in providing any more details pertaining to the social media video showing him on a yacht. Videos recently surfaced on social media showing Diggs passing what appeared to be a bag of pink crystals to women on a boat. When reporters brought up the video in question at Patriots mandatory minicamp, Diggs said he wanted to avoid delving into his personal life in a public setting. "I want to be as candid with you as possible, but I kind of have a thing where I don't talk about my personal life with people I don't know personally," Diggs said Tuesday as he publicly broke his silence on the viral moment. "I had a conversation with [head coach Mike] Vrabel, obviously, and I'm going to echo everything that he said. He told me he's hoping everybody is making good decisions." Nevertheless, the star receiver said he's been "grinding" and "eager" to be fully medically cleared as he gears up for the regular season. "We'll see how it goes," Diggs responded when asked if he believed he would be able to take the field when the Patriots open the season against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 7. "Obviously, I'm grinding each and every day. I'm eager to get out there, so whenever they do push the button, I'm going to be ready. ... Where I am right now, I wouldn't really put a percentage on it, but I got some work to do." Vrabel, in his first season leading the Patriots, seemed pleased by Diggs' rehab so far and his level of engagement. "He's trying to figure out where everything is and what his role is and making sure that as we add those situations – the third down, the no-huddle and red zone – that he's staying up on it, working hard in his rehab," he said. "Certain drills he can be out there, and there's certain drills that he won't be, but I think he's engaged, and I like his energy." Diggs recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in six consecutive seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills. He appeared in eight games during his lone season with the Houston Texans and finished the 2024 campaign with 496 yards in eight games. FIFA's latest attempts to fill Hard Rock Stadium for the Club World Cup opening match between Inter Miami and Egyptian team Al-Ahly involve offering students at an affiliated local college a single ticket for $20 — but with the promise of up to four complimentary tickets. The Athletic last week revealed the launch game, which takes place on Saturday night, still had tens of thousands of tickets unsold for a match likely to star Lionel Messi for MLS side Inter Miami. Hard Rock Stadium has a capacity of 65,326. FIFA denied that fewer than 20,000 tickets had been sold for the match — insisting the number was 'much higher' — but they did not specify the number. This involves students being given the chance to intern at FIFA's Miami office, while FIFA's museum loans exhibits to the college. An email promotion sent out says that FIFA, in collaboration with Miami Dade College, is 'providing up to four complimentary tickets to the opening match of the FIFA Club World Cup with the purchase of one ticket at the reduced student price of $20.' Those who respond are asked to submit their Miami Dade College email when using their purchase. If they secure the five tickets, then they are essentially able to watch Messi for just $4 a seat, which is a bargain for the local community but a long way away from FIFA's original expectations when pitching this tournament as the most coveted trophy in world club football. As reported previously by The Athletic, FIFA has sold general sale tickets for the revamped 32-team Club World Cup under a dynamic pricing model, a system whereby prices fluctuate based on demand, and the slumping prices for certain games are indicative of FIFA's struggles to sell out stadiums. As of last Tuesday, Inter Miami's game against Al-Ahly had dropped to $55, according to prices on Ticketmaster, the portal FIFA is using to sell tickets for the tournament. This was half of what they were available for in May, while tickets were $230 for the cheapest seat in January and $349 after the draw in December. FIFA is now hoping that the reduced prices will draw people in during a publicity blitz in the final week before the tournament. Despite the $20 offer for the affiliated college, the cheapest seat available on Ticketmaster tonight was $69.15 for an 'obstructed view.' It is not known how many tickets have now been sold for the game, but it is clear that FIFA is now taking every possible step to avoid any perception on Saturday night that the tournament is not in demand.
