Actress Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir who was recently seen in movies like 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' and earlier in films like 'Suraksha' in the 90s, apart from many television shows, has worked with most A-list stars.
She's shared a great rapport and friendship with
Salman Khan
,
Shah Rukh Khan
. In an old interview, she had spoken about the bonding with SRK when they had all started out their careers together, before he became a huge star.
Now in a chat, she was asked about her association with Salman and if she has ever seen his 'angry' side which people have written about. She said during an interview with Filmymantra, "I didn't see his angry side. Jab main magazine mein padhti thi, usko puchti thi to woh mujhe kehta tha, 'Do you believe it?' I always saw him kind and helpful.
I saw a very good side of him always. Recently when I met him after a long time when he was shooting for 'Sikandar' and I was shooting for 'Baaghi'.

When asked about Govinda as a person, she said, "He's a lot of fun. I remember having game nights also with him. By the time we started hanging out, his work was less."
Sheeba was also asked what she thinks is the reason for Govinda's downfall in the industry. She said, "See one can never ever point on that. But, there's nobody more talented than him. Aur 100 films toh karli aisa kuch bachaa nahi tha karna. Super duper golden jubilee hits.
(He's done more than 100 films, and so many jubilee hits. There was nothing more that he could have done)."
She was asked further that people did want to see him more. She added, "People wanted to see him again just to abuse him ke mota hai. Logon ka kuch nahi keh sakte. Karo toh bhi problem, na karo toh bhi problem. It's good na? We will always remember the good Chi Chi, the handsome Chi chi, the best actor. So, that's not a bad thing. He was at the peak of his game when he decided to slow things down and that's a nice."

Karan Johar says Bollywood faces a ‘director crisis', urges focus on core strengths

Renowned Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has sparked conversation with his candid take on the current state of Hindi cinema. Speaking in a recent interview, Johar admitted that the industry is facing a 'great crisis' when it comes to directors capable of delivering large-scale, front-footed mainstream blockbusters that pull audiences into theatres. Johar believes a generational shift is at the heart of the problem. He explained that a whole generation in North India grew up on a different kind of Hindi cinema—romantic dramas, Shah Rukh Khan–era love stories, and films shot in exotic foreign locales—heavily influenced by globalisation. According to him, these filmmakers never experienced making 'testosterone-driven' mass entertainers and now struggle to convincingly emulate them. 'When they try, they go flat on their face,' he remarked. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director emphasised that Bollywood should stop chasing the South Indian formula of mass masala and epic-scale action, and instead focus on genres it has excelled at for decades. Johar praised the recent success of Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, as an example of Hindi cinema playing to its strengths. He noted that the film earned praise from South filmmakers—an unusual reversal of recent trends where Bollywood directors were the ones congratulating their Southern counterparts for box-office triumphs. 'We need to bring back conviction in what we do best,' Johar concluded.

On another note, filmmaker Kabir Khan marked 13 years of his primary collaboration with Salman in 'Ek Tha Tiger' on Friday. He took to his official Instagram handle and shared the poster from the 2012 spy thriller, along with a couple of unseen photographs from the sets of the action entertainer. Commemorating the milestone, Kabir wrote: 'Tiger… Tiger… Tiger… Thirteen years ago, Ek Tha Tiger with the megastars @beingsalmankhan and @katrinakaif roared into cinemas with the biggest opening in Indian cinema at that time, not just as a blockbuster romance-thriller, but as the spark that ignited what would become the now-famous YRF Spyverse.' He stated that what commenced as the simple tale of two spies caught between duty and love has, over the years, evolved into a "sprawling cinematic universe, weaving together high-octane action, global intrigue, and deeply human emotions.' 'I will always be indebted to Aditya Chopra who gave me a massive platform because he wanted Ek Tha Tiger to be a genre-defining leap for Hindi cinema, a statement that Indian storytelling could blend scale, style, and soul on an international canvas. And I'm so happy that I was able to deliver,' the director added. Disclosing what sets "Ek Tha Tiger" apart, Kabir shared that it 'is the fact that we were able to deliver that level of action without much VFX support.'
