BTS footage of Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man debuts at CinemaCon — here's what fans think
Masters of the Universe just debuted a first look at behind-the-scenes footage for the film at CinemaCon, and fans are already clamoring for more.
The live action adaptation, which is set to star beloved heartthrob Nicholas Galitzine, has had fans wary ever since the initial announcement. The initial set photos that leaked online didn't do much to assuage hesitations, but apparently the actual footage is an entirely different story.
Director Travis Knight debuted a sizzle reel featuring clips of the cast and crew from the production (which is still ongoing) at CinemaCon 2025. The footage hasn't been shared online, so we're left to rely on descriptions from those in attendance, but the reactions have been extremely positive so far.
DiscussingFilm said there appears to be an "emphasis on practicality and accuracy, without it looking too ridiculous or uncanny in live-action." The Hollywood Reporter recounted shots of Galitzine's "rigorous training that included sword play and weight lifting," as well as footage of the actor in costume.
Reports across social media have also provided hope that this movie will be the best version of itself possible — although Galitzine fans will definitely be seated on opening night either way.

"We just got a first look at the 'MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE' movie and to say we're wowed is an understatement. The costumes and set pieces all look incredibly faithful to the toys and the production design is top notch. Travis Night seems to have cracked the code."

"Just one more thing about the #AmazonMGM panel at #CinemaCon - with many considering it the best among the studios so far - is the high praise to their first look of #MastersOfTheUniverse, for following a Universal approach instead of #Disney or #Netflix, with an extremely faithful live-action adaptation visually. Many attendees changed from skepticism to excitement about this production, which hits theatres next SUMMER, on JUN 5, 2026."

"MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE looks absolutely absurd. I'm kind of in? The BTS footage we saw is so indebted to the cartoon and toys, with bright colors and expressive sets. It's definitely for the "80s guys" in the audience. I'm curious…"

"who said $1billion box office for masters of the universe ???"
The world has also recently been treated to a new photoshoot of Galitzine in GQ Germany, making this a truly delightful week all around for his fans.

Olivia Munn explains why she doesn't allow Ms. Rachel in her house
When it comes to raising young children, it feels almost inevitable that popular children's programming will dominate the television screens at home. But according to actress Olivia Munn, she doesn't allow any of it in her home despite being a mom of two. During a conversation with People, Munn explained that when it comes to even the most popular children's programming, she says no to most of it. 'I know kids love [YouTuber Ms. Rachel], but the thing is, if I can't watch it, I'm not going to spend the rest of my life going crazy,' Munn told People. 'These kid shows drive me crazy.' Munn and her husband, comedian John Mulaney, are parents to 3-year-old son Malcolm and 9-month-old daughter Méi. Even cartoons are a big no, Munn told People. 'Malcolm asked for 'Blue's Clues' [recently], and I don't know who showed him 'Blue's Clues,' but they are on my list now,' she continued. 'I said, 'Not in my house.'' 'John got him into the Spider-Man cartoons, which is not interesting to me,' Munn continued. 'I put on Tom Holland's 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' and was like, 'If you want to watch the real-life ones, then we can watch that.' It might be a little too old for him, but I can't take the cartoons.' There is one children's show, however, that Munn is able to stomach, and that's PBS' 'Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood,' admitting that it is a 'great program.' She explained how it helped Malcolm with the transition when his baby sister was born. 'Daniel Tiger has a little sister, and we'd tell him, 'There's a baby sister coming,'' Munn says. Munn's latest addition comes after the actress revealed her daughter was named after a lie her mom, Dung Kim Munn, told her. While a guest on Seth Meyers on May 12, prior to welcoming Méi into the world, Olivia Munn said that Kim Munn told them that the American version of her name Dung was June. 'One day we were driving,' Olivia Munn told Meyers, 'my mom just says, out of nowhere, 'You know, people call me June. My mom's name is Dung. It's spelled D-U-N-G. And so she said, 'You know, people call me June.' And I said, 'When do people call you June?' And she was like, 'You know, a lot of people call me June. It's the Americanized name for Dung.'' Kim Munn's realization led Mulaney to suggest naming their daughter after his mother-in-law. Only later, after sharing the special news with Kim Munn, Olivia Munn learned that only two people have ever called her mother June. 'It's staying June,' she told Meyers. 'We're not changing it. So yeah, she's kind of in honor of my mother, but I hope she doesn't grow up to be as big a liar.'

ABC News Suspends Correspondent Terry Moran Over Post Calling Trump Administration Official a 'World-Class Hater'
ABC News has suspended senior national correspondent Terry Moran after the network veteran called Trump administration deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller a 'world-class hater.' Moran posted on X late Saturday night and deleted it not long after. More from The Hollywood Reporter Late Night Erupts With Schadenfreude Over Donald Trump's Feud With Elon Musk: "World War Douche" The Twilight of Evening News: Anchor Swaps, Trust Gaps and a Looming AI Threat Seth Meyers on Finding Joy (and Comedy) in Trump's Second Term 'ABC News stands for objectivity and impartiality in its news coverage and does not condone subjective personal attacks on others,' an ABC News spokesperson tells The Hollywood Reporter. 'The post does not reflect the views of ABC News and violated our standards — as a result, Terry Moran has been suspended pending further evaluation.' Moran has been with ABC News since 1997, covering events like 9/11 the Iraq war and multiple presidential elections. He even interviewed President Trump in the Oval Office just over a month ago. But after his post, White House officials, including Vice President JD Vance and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, ripped into the journalist for his take (Leavitt called it 'unhinged and unacceptable') and demanded that ABC News take action. 'The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism,' Moran wrote in his since-deleted post. 'Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that's not what's interesting about Miller. It's not brains. It's bile. Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He's a world-class hater. You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate. Trump is a world-class hater. But his hatred only a means to an end, and that end his his own glorification. That's his spiritual nourishment.' Why Mindy Kaling Took A Break From Acting
At this point, Mindy Kaling is an undeniable multihyphenate. From Never Have I Ever and The Sex Lives of College Girls to Velma and Running Point, it honestly feels like we've gotten a show that she's created or written every time we switch on our TVs. Mindy's been so ever-present behind the scenes that it's honestly been easy to forget that we were all introduced to her as an actor — especially in the classic NBC TV show The Office (which, to be clear, she also wrote for). These days, however, Mindy isn't in front of the camera all that often. She's done some voice work on Velma and Monsters at Work, and she's made the occasional appearance on The Morning Show, but that's about it. During a recent public appearance (via The Hollywood Reporter), Mindy addressed her recent absence as an actor — especially when it came to making a cameo on Never Have I Ever, which she ultimately decided not to do. 'A show literally about an Indian American family in Southern California, and if I wasn't on that—what's wrong with me?' she joked. 'I think there is a part of me that feels a little superstitious,' she continued. 'I'm like, these seem to have gone well and I'm not in them so maybe I'll wait.' Mindy also admitted that she does "miss" acting, and that she "would like to write or co-create a show for me to act in soon" — particularly because doing so would be 'unbelievably fun and it's so efficient.' 'I would love to do that again,' she said. 'That's the thing that maybe in the next couple years, when I launch a couple other things that are earlier in the pipeline, that would be something that would be fun to do again.' We'll see what happens!
