Demi Moore didn't win a statuette last night, however, she was surely a winner in the hair category. The 62-year-old star walked the red carpet rocking what her hairstylist calls 'The Oscar Waves.' As someone who's been following Moore's beauty looks as of late, I needed to learn more about her gorgeous locks and chatted with Dimitris Giannetos, celebrity hairstylist and mastermind behind the look. Here's what I found out.

The inspiration behind her look was from a 2000s shoot for Vogue. As Giannetos tells PureWow, 'My reference was an iconic shoot Demi did in the early 2000s. Demi is wearing a beautiful Armani Privé dress, so I wanted [her hair] to be glamorous, but at the same time powerful—like Demi's personality!'
Sephora
When it comes to recreating her signature look, Giannetos shares four simple steps *and* all the products you need to do it at home. He starts with towel-dried hair and preps with Moroccanoil Root Boost Spray ($32), which helps add volume and movement, while creating strong texture at the roots.
Dyson
The stylist also uses Moroccanoil Perfect Defense Heat Protectant ($32), brushing it through before grabbing the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer ($430) to give her a nice blowout. Then, he uses the Dyson Corrale Straightener ($499) to curl and set each section. Stylist tip: Use the hair tool on medium setting (365 degrees) to achieve the look.
Sephora
Finally, Giannetos brushes out the curls and spritzes on Moroccanoil Luminous hairspray ($28) for a silky, smooth finish. It offers just enough hold for The Substance star to walk the carpet without a flyaway in sight.

Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz's daughter blasts ‘Being the Ricardos' storyline as ‘a crock of poop'

Aaron Sorkin – you got a lot of explaining to do. Lucie Arnaz, the daughter of the late Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, is getting candid on the director's 2021 film 'Being the Ricardos.' The 73-year-old still has a bone to pick about some of the plotlines in the film despite her and her younger brother, Desi Arnaz Jr., serving as executive producers on the Prime Video project that starred Nicole Kidman as the iconic Lucille and Javier Bardem as Desi. Getty Images 'I tried to work on it and correct the incorrect parts, especially [my mother's] relationship with the writers,' Lucie said while at a screening of the 1993 special 'Lucy & Desi Home Movies' on Thursday. 'Totally wrong, right? She adored those people. They got along so well; none of that backstabbing, crazy, insulting stuff.' She said the storyline was 'such a crock of poop' and 'so wrong.' Advertisement Lucie had an problem with how the relationship between Vivian Vance and William Frawley, who played Ethel and Fred on 'I Love Lucy,' was portrayed. In her words, the tension was 'overly done.' 7 Lucie On The Lot: The Dr. Sam Fundraiser. Getty Images 'You can't talk to Aaron. He's Aaron Sorkin,' Lucie said about trying to speak with the director over inaccuracies. The actress noted that Sorkin told her he would be open to 'meaningful consultation' but ended up responding, ' 'Well, what do you know? You were 15 months old.'' Advertisement Keith Thibodeaux, who played Little Ricky, the son of Lucy and Arnez's Ricky Ricardo on 'I Love Lucy,' was also on the panel, telling the audience about Sorkin's movie, 'It's well done and all that, I just didn't get it.' 7 Lucie Arnaz, Nicole Kidman on set of 'Being the Ricardos.' ©Amazon/Courtesy Everett Collection The Post reached out to a rep for Sorkin for comment. 'Being the Ricardos' was well received by audiences and critics, earning three Academy Award nods, with both Kidman, 57, and Bardem, 56, garnering best actor nominations. Advertisement In 2021, Lucie told Palm Springs Life that the 'Babygirl' star was 'extremely classy and first rate,' adding the cast were all 'really great performers.' 'Nicole did a spectacular job,' she gushed. 'What she did was astounding. She's got such poise and class.' 7 Aaron Sorkin and Nicole Kidman. Getty Images for Deadline 7 Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez. Getty Images However, at the same time, Lucie doubled down, stating that she saw 'certain scenes' of the film that she 'wished' Sorkin hadn't included. Lucie noted: 'I couldn't get my way and have them taken out, but they weren't accurate. And I thought, 'That shouldn't be in there, because that never happened. That's not true.'' 'And it's not just theatrical license, it just wasn't true,' she continued. 'And the day they shot the scene, the sprinklers went off on the set and destroyed the whole set.' 7 Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez holding their kids Desi Jr (left) and Lucie. Getty Images Advertisement That same year, Kidman told NPR, 'So there was the 'I Love Lucy' show, and I just thought, well, if I can create literally a carbon copy of her in the show where I look like her, I move like her, I sound like her, all of those things — and I really studied that for months, like watching it, rewinding, starting again, getting the timing, working on it, working on it, working on the sounds with my dialect coach. 'If that can be accurate, that then gives me the license to do Lucille Ball, as Aaron said, with the sexuality, with messy hair, with all the things that do not make you go, oh, right, that looks exactly like her. There's a feeling of her, but there's a human being here.' 7 Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucie Arnaz accept the Legacy of Laughter Award for their mother, the late Lucille Ball during the 5th Annual TV Land Awards held at Barker Hangar on April 14, 2007. Getty Images Advertisement A year later, Bardem told People that he could feel Arnez's spirit on set. 'When you play a character like him, you are invoking his spirit and essence, and you have to be respectful with that,' he explained. 'Every time I would come back from the shoot, I would talk to him. I would look at the stars and let him know how the day went. And I would ask for his blessing and permission to go for the next day.'

Blake Lively Issued a Powerful Statement After a Judge Dismissed Justin Baldoni's Lawsuit Against Her

Getty Images On Monday, June 9, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios' countersuit against Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, in which he accused them of defamation and extortion. He also dismissed the defamation suit against the New York Times, which reported on Lively's original complaint against Baldoni (here's a longer recap of the various allegations between the It Ends With Us co-stars). To say this is a win for Blake Lively is an understatement. It doesn't mean that she will necessarily win her suit against Baldoni—the trial is still set for March 2026—but it's gotta feel good to no longer have the specter of a $400 million lawsuit hanging over your head. On Instagram, Lively released a statement thanking the many organizations that voiced their support for her motion to dismiss his case against her. 'Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us. While the suit against me was defeated, so many don't have the resources to fight back. I'm more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman's right to have a voice in protecting themselves, including their safety, their integrity, their dignity and their story,' she wrote. The day the news of the dismissal broke, an insider revealed to People that Lively had "cried with relief" after hearing of the dismissal. "She's obviously relieved. They both are," said another source, referring to Lively and Reynolds, adding, "She feels vindicated" and that 'Everyone [on the legal team] is happy.' In a statement, Lively's lawyers said, 'today's opinion is a total victory and a complete vindication…as we have said from day one, this '$400 million' lawsuit was a sham, and the Court saw right through it. We look forward to the next round, which is seeking attorneys' fees, treble damages and punitive damages.' Originally Appeared on Glamour

There's only one Jordon Hudson confidant willing to talk about her — here's what he said

There have been many descriptors added to Jordon Hudson's name over the past 12 months as her relationship with Bill Belichick has come under intense scrutiny. For the lone Hudson confidant who has spoken publicly about the former college cheerleader, one label transcends new heights. 'I consider her a supernova,' celebrity hairstylist Dougie Freeman, who likened his one-time employee to the phenomenon described by NASA as the 'extremely bright, super powerful explosion of a star,' said in a new interview with The Athletic. Getty Images for the American Museum of Natural History 'Our motto here at the salon is, 'Let us help you use what you've got to get what you want' … and maybe Jordon Hudson is a good example of that.' Advertisement Hudson, who shot to fame in the summer of 2024 when her romance with the 73-year-old Belichick became public, began working at Freeman's West End Salon & Spa in Provincetown, Mass., when she was still in high school. 5 Dougie Freeman worked with Jordon Hudson. Facebook/West End Salon and Spa Freeman believes the Massachusetts town, regarded as one of the most welcoming and friendly LGBTQ+ locales in the country, helped to broaden Hudson's horizons. 'Growing up in this town, she saw how alternative relationships work. They can work,' Freeman said. 'I think that validated it for her.' Advertisement Freeman is one of the few connected to Hudson who has opened up about the Miss Maine USA contestant, with The Athletic noting the 'dozen-plus friends of Hudson' whom they reached out to did not get back to the outlet. 5 Jordon Hudson's profile has continued to rise amid her relationship with Bill Belichick. WireImage 'She seems to be doing fine,' said Freeman, who 'last spoke to Hudson via a series of internet DMs,' per The Athletic. 'She said, 'I understand you're going to do an interview with the Washington Post.' And I said, 'I said a lot of nice things about you, I think you'll be pleased with it.' And I assume she was.' Advertisement Hudson has been by Belichick's side as he prepares for his first season coaching North Carolina's football team. 5 Bill Belichick with Jordon Hudson in March 2025. Getty Images Although there has been much speculation about Hudson's role in Chapel Hill — much of which began after a disastrous 'CBS Sunday Morning' appearance in April, when she punted a question about the origins of the Belichick relationship — the eight-time Super Bowl winner clarified her position in an ESPN interview last month. 'That's really off to the side, it's a personal relationship. She doesn't have anything to do with UNC football,' Belichick said. With the Tar Heels' season opener against TCU approaching on Sept. 1, all eyes remain on Belichick and Hudson — something Freeman cautioned as her star continues to rise. 'Fame comes with some barbs,' he said. 'And it doesn't always come with fortune.' Hudson and Belichick first crossed paths aboard a flight in 2021. They celebrated their four-year meet-iversary in February.
