The New York Yankees are running out of time to address their third base issues this season.
Fortunately for them, there will be some intriguing options available at the trade deadline. It's expected Brian Cashman and company will make a move then after the internal hopes have sputtered.
R.J. Anderson of CBS Sports thinks the Yankees would be a good fit for Yoán Moncada.

"It's to be seen if the Angels fall far enough from the race to consider selling off pieces," wrote Anderson. "I'm including Moncada here because I'm skeptical about Los Angeles' chances (based both on their roster and their run differential). He's having a heck of a rebound season, hitting the ball hard and on a line while drawing his share of walks."
Moncada just turned 30, so he still has something left in the tank that a contender like the Yankees could use. So far this season, he's hitting .228 with five home runs and 18 RBI. Moncada has also recorded a 129 OPS+ with the Angels despite the team's struggles.
Baseball Savant shows Moncada to be among the best in baseball with his barrel percentage and just slightly below that in terms of exit velocity. The Angels have unlocked the hitter that scouts believed he could be despite his average not being the highest.
If the Yankees were to pursue Moncada, they wouldn't have to give up much in the way of prospects. He is set to become a free agent at the end of the season, so the Angels will look to get something for him in July. The Yankees would be responsible for paying him the remainder of the $5 million he's owed this season.
