One day after the Met Gala, Miley Cyrus hosted a listening party for her new album with Spotify.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer wore four outfits, including a snakeskin bodycon dress.
She described the forthcoming album as embodying a "spectrum of beauty."
On the heels of not one but two fabulous Met Gala looks, Miley Cyrus has once again outdone herself with a morning-after appearance at Spotify that included a whopping four 'fits. Chief among them? A plunging snakeskin bodycon dress, courtesy of Ludovic de Saint Sernin. The skin-tight look featured a bustier top with a tiny lace-up detail and curve-hugging tailoring from top to bottom.

Cyrus's other three outfits, meanwhile, included a tailored black suit (perhaps inspired by "Superfine"?), a peplum blazer and skirt set, and a brown leather moto jacket set from Alexander McQueen.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer is currently gearing up to release her 9th studio album, Something Beautiful, which is slated to drop later this month. An Evening with Miley Cyrus Presented by Spotify served as an intimate listening party pre-release, and included a fan Q&A.
'I'm excited for my younger self to really experience this entire era because it has to start with me for it to be for you," Cyrus told her audience. "This album has to start with me loving it, and then the love that I have for it, whether you know it or not, is going to be coming through the speakers."

She continued, 'When you're listening, you're going to feel this fulfillment that I have. I'm excited for you to hear it, but also for the person who never thought they would get to make this album to hear it, too, which is me.'
Finally, Cyrus described the new visual album as embodying a "spectrum of beauty."
"Some of it incorporates heartbreak and loss, or death or pain—but sometimes it's flowers and rainbows, and new love," she told moderator Matt Peterson. "There's always something to look forward to."

Miley Cyrus's Completely Sheer Gown Wasn't Her Only Statement on NYC Trip

Miley Cyrus brought her 'Walk of Fame' lyrics to life for a day out in New York City yesterday, 'walk[ing] the concrete like it's a stage.' For a full day of press for her ninth studio album Something Beautiful, the Grammy winner began the day signing autographs and taking photos with fans wearing a black sequin halter top with denim shorts, a black belt, fishnet tights, black and tan heeled boots, and shades. She posted photos of the look on Instagram with the caption, 'Your love not just today, but for nearly two decades means so much more to me than the words I can find at the end of a long, fulfilling day. You make my world go round. Thank you for showing up & supporting the release of Something Beautiful with me @roughtradenyc.' (That same day, Cyrus also stopped by the classic record store Rough Trade for a performance and signing.) That evening, she went for a more risqué look when she was spotted arriving at her hotel in a floor-length sheer black dress with a plunging neckline. She accessorized with a gold necklace, dainty hoop earrings, and shades. She switched up her hair, too, opting for a messy up-do. And while stopping to sign autographs, one fan in particular had a noteworthy experience to share. A man named Liam revealed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Cyrus signed the message 'the best Liam' on his Something Beautiful vinyl. Cyrus's ex-husband is Liam Hemsworth, so some fans saw it as a reference to him. Later, to round out the day's many looks, she maintained the all-black theme and wore a halter black dress with intricate line detailing, black tights, and black pumps for an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. While sitting with Fallon, Cyrus revealed that her favorite song on the new album is 'Every Girl You've Ever Loved,' featuring supermodel Naomi Campbell. 'With Naomi, what I do is treat her the way I'd like to be treated,' she said. 'Call time? 5 P.M. Glam? Lots of glam. Lots of clothes. All fabulous things.' She went on to speak more about the album and why she was drawn to featuring Campbell on the LP. 'This project is such a dream and such a fantasy, and that's what I've always loved about supermodels and the runway and fashion. It's something that's so out of this world.'

Phil Mickelson Drops a Bomb on US Open at Oakmont Being His Last

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. For years, Phil Mickelson has chased the one major that would complete his Grand Slam. An exclusive circle that includes Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Gary Player, Ben Hogan, and Gene Sarazen. But after six runner-up finishes and decades of near misses, it looks like Lefty has convinced himself to let go. Mickelson had a disappointing show at the Masters, where he missed the cut, and another early exit at the PGA Championship. Now, with his U.S. Open exemption set to expire, the 54-year-old dropped a bombshell at LIV Golf Virginia. (Photo by) More Getty Images "I haven't thought about it too much," Mickelson said when asked if he thought Oakmont might be his last U.S. Open. "There's a high likelihood that it will be, but I haven't really thought about it too much," he admitted, leaving room for speculation. This will be Lefty's 34th U.S. Open appearance— credit to his 5-year exemption earned from the 2021 PGA Championship win, where he became the oldest major champion at 50. But beyond 2025, his road back looks uncertain. LIV Golf offers only two qualification spots for the 2026 U.S. Open—one for topping the 2025 season standings and another for sitting in the top three by May 2026. If Mickelson wants another shot, he'd need a dominant LIV season, which, based on his recent performances, and his age, feels highly unlikely. Before his supposedly final show at the US Open, the 6-time major winner will be swinging clubs at LIV Golf Virginia, which mirrors Oakmont's conditions. And Phil wants to focus on that, treating it as an unofficial warm-up. "What I have thought about is how similar this week's course is set up to what we'll see next week," Mickelson explained. Phil Mickelson says there's a "high likelihood" that next week is his final U.S. Open. 👀 The U.S. Open is the last leg missing for him to complete the career grand slam. — Golf Digest (@GolfDigest) June 4, 2025 "We have greens that are rolling 14 to 15 on the Stimpmeter, just like we will next week. We have contours, undulations—just like we will next week. I think it's a great way to prepare for next week." He continued, "Short game, touch, chipping around the greens, rough, speed, lag drills, and touch on the greens—all that's critical here. Same thing as next week. It couldn't be a better spot to get ready." A look at Phil Mickelson's US Open heartbreaks The outspoken LIV Golfer's U.S. Open record is brutal. He's finished runner-up six times—including heartbreaks in 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2009, and 2013, but never hoisted the trophy. His first heartbreak came in 1999 at Pinehurst, where he lost to Payne Stewart by a single stroke. The moment became even more emotional when Stewart (Phil's ex-caddie) famously told him: "Good luck with the baby. There's nothing like being a father!" This came just before Stewart's tragic passing months later. Then came 2002 at Bethpage Black, where Mickelson finished three shots behind Tiger Woods, unable to close the gap on Sunday. (Photo By) More Getty Images Perhaps the most painful of all was 2006 at Winged Foot, where Mickelson needed a par on the final hole to win. Instead, he hit a driver off the tee, found the trees, and made a disastrous double-bogey, handing the victory to Geoff Ogilvy. Reflecting on the challenge years ago, Mickelson admitted just how much winning the U.S. Open meant to him: "I think that if I'm able to win the U.S. Open and complete the career Grand Slam, I think that's the sign of a complete, great player. I'm a leg away. And it's been a tough leg for me." Now, at 54, the coffee lover faces the reality that his U.S. Open exemption is expiring, and his chances in front of the World No. 1, who is currently fully charged, are slim. But if history has proven anything, it's that Lefty has never been one to back down from a fight. More Golf: Bryson DeChambeau Seen Playing Golf at 'TPC White House'

Dakota Johnson narrowly avoids ‘Tonight Show' wardrobe malfunction

Dakota Johnson nearly had a wardrobe malfunction during a late-night TV appearance. On Monday's episode of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' Johnson — who was wearing a black mini-dress with a plunging neckline — instantly regretted her decision. Advertisement 'Oh God,' said Johnson, who was promoting her new film, 'Materialists.' 'This is the wrong outfit.' 'No, no. I think it's perfect, you look great,' Fallon said. 'Just don't move.' 'My eyes are up here,' she joked. A dazed and confused Fallon playfully looked up to the ceiling and said, 'I don't know what to do. I'm confused.' Advertisement After the TV host redirected the conversation, Johnson was still concerned about the possible malfunction. 'Tell me if there's a problem,' she said. 'Right now, there's not a problem,' Fallon quipped. 'There's almost a problem, but not quite — it's just… everything is going according to plan.' 4 Dakota Johnson nearly had a wardrobe malfunction while on Monday's episode of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.' 'Dakota, your dress just came unhooked,' Kimmel said to Johnson, who tried to maintain her poise as she clutched the detached metal strap of her black dress. 'Should I get some scotch tape?' Kimmel inquired. 'My dress just – it just fell off,' Johnson said, astounded, but with a smile on her face. 'It seems to be hanging in all right?' Kimmel countered. 4 One year ago, the actress suffered another wardrobe malfunction while appearing on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live.'
