At a function to honour toppers of SSLC and Plus Two held at a private hotel in Mahabalipuram, Vijay asked students to stay away from caste and religious divisive ideas. "Like narcotic substances, we should keep caste and religion away from us. It is good for all... Never allow the divisive ideas to disturb your mind," Vijay said.
"Are farmers cultivating based on caste and religion? Are labourers manufacturing products based on caste and religion? Does nature differentiate based on caste and religion?" Vijay asked.
Hitting out at the BJP govt, Vijay said, "In the recently held
exam, they tried to paint a caste colour on Periyar. We strongly condemn this."
Asking students not to get emotional on any issue, Vijay said that students should have a technical and scientific approach-based thinking as it is the only way to survive in the AI-dominated world. "The sky is vast and wide and you have strong winds. So, feel free to fly like a bird with courage, conviction, and confidence," Vijay said.
Asking students not to get stressed about NEET exams, Vijay said, "The world doesn't end with NEET. There are many things to achieve outside NEET. Keep your minds strong and democratic. Only if there is democracy, the world and all the fields in it will have freedom. If we have proper democracy, everyone will get everything."
Vijay asked students to ask their family members to exercise their democratic rights properly.

"Exercising the democratic rights means electing good, confidential, and non-corrupt people," Vijay said.
Recalling his message to students to avoid cash for votes in 2023, Vijay said, "I already asked the students two years ago not to encourage cash-for-votes culture and asked you to follow it. Next year, tonnes of cash will be poured for the election. All that money was swindled from you. What are you going to do? You know what to do. There is no need for me to tell you."

Musk vs Trump Feud: 10 ways they can destroy each other—legally
When Thomas Anderson is first unplugged from the Matrix, his body convulses. His mind rejects the truth. 'He's going into arrest,' they warn, as his world crumbles. Because when you've lived too long in an illusion, reality doesn't just disappoint—it short-circuits you. That's where Elon Musk is now. He's been yanked out of the warm, binary womb of TrumpWorld. No more bromance tweets. No more wink-wink White House briefings. No more red-carpeted corridors of power where he could whisper about AI doomsday while nudging SpaceX contracts. Just cold, hard betrayal. And now? Now he wants revenge. Here are 10 gloriously real, absurdly powerful, and completely legal ways that Trump and Musk can rip each other apart—like Neo and Agent Smith in an alley full of bad ideas. 1. Trump Pulls the Plug on Musk's Federal Billions Trump, fresh off a fiscal sobriety bender and looking for budgetary scapegoats, has a new mantra : 'No woke space toys on my dime.' He's already floated cutting $3 billion worth of contracts to Musk's empire. That's not just pruning—it's taking a chainsaw to the money tree. Tesla loses its tax credits. Starlink gets kicked out of the Pentagon's good books. SpaceX is told to sit in the corner while Blue Origin waves from the Oval Office with a smug Bezos smirk. This isn't just defunding—this is strategic neutering. 2. Musk Threatens the Republic via Rocket Blackmail Musk didn't wait to be hit first. He threatened to decommission the Dragon spacecraft —the one that ferries NASA astronauts and lunch packets to the International Space Station. The unspoken message? Nice space programme you've got there. Be a shame if something happened to it. Suddenly, space diplomacy looks more like a hostage negotiation with a Bond villain in a Twitter hoodie. 3. Trump Can Yank Elon's Security Clearance Every time Elon boasts about top-secret briefings, there's an Air Force general somewhere crying into his gin. His clearance—granted through his role in military space launches—could be revoked with one swipe of Trump's Montblanc pen. Without it, Musk becomes a liability rather than an asset. He can still launch memes, just not missiles. And without Pentagon favours, his whole 'Iron Man meets Ayn Rand' routine collapses into a Reddit thread. 4. Elon Funds a Third Party Just to Spite Him In classic Musk fashion, the Tesla tzar tweeted a poll asking if he should start a new centrist political party. It was part libertarian fantasy, part MAGA middle-finger, and 100% chaos. Over 1.8 million people voted 'Yes.' Even if it doesn't win , a Musk-backed third party could siphon off enough voters to sabotage Trump's 2028 ambitions. Think Ross Perot meets a Neuralink experiment gone rogue. 5. Trump Targets Musk's Ketamine Chronicles Bannon has demanded a drug probe into Musk's ketamine-fuelled soirées, suggesting the billionaire is 'not of sound mind.' That's ironic coming from a man who looks like he was raised on moonshine and conspiracy theories. But in TrumpWorld, personal destruction is political strategy. Imagine Musk dragged into a Senate hearing with Marjorie Taylor Greene asking, 'Were you or were you not high when naming your child X Æ A-12?' 6. Musk Unleashes Epstein Allegations Without warning, Musk lobbed a digital hand grenade: that Trump's White House deliberately delayed the release of Epstein files because his name may have been in them. He offered no evidence—just vibes and vengeance. But in a country where 30% of voters think Wayfair sells children, that's enough to spark headlines, hearings, and hashtags. When Elon says, 'Mark this post,' he's not just trolling—he's threatening to turn on the lights in a room no one wants to see. 7. Trump Ends DOGE—the Bureaucratic Crypto Baby The Department of Government Efficiency, nicknamed DOGE, was Musk's vanity project: part startup, part prank, part Silicon Valley fever dream. Its mission? Replace Washington's bureaucratic sludge with blockchain optimism and quarterly reports. Trump could axe it tomorrow and return the halls of power to their natural state: clogged, confused, and blissfully analog. No more agile government. No more 'lean federalism. ' Just 500-page PDFs printed in triplicate. 8. Elon Withholds the Final $100M Musk had pledged a total of $350 million to support Trump's 2024 run. But the final $100 million is still hanging —like a Sword of Damocles in a cryptocurrency wallet. Trump, a man who treats loyalty like a Costco membership, doesn't forgive open wallets with closed zips. This isn't just about money—it's about respect. And Musk knows just how much Trump hates being ghosted, especially by someone richer. 9. Trump Questions Musk's Citizenship The Birther playbook is back. Bannon claims Musk is an 'illegal alien.' Never mind that Elon's been a naturalised American citizen since 2002. Trump doesn't need facts—just vibes, slogans, and a red hat. Expect rallies where Trump says, 'Elon? Great guy. But I'm hearing things. People are saying.' That's how the political meat grinder starts: with an innuendo and ends with a Senate subcommittee. 10. Musk Starves MAGA's Internet Starlink, Musk's satellite internet service, powers vast swathes of rural America—aka MAGA heartland. One well-timed update and Fox Nation stops loading. Steve Bannon's podcast gets frozen mid-rant. Truth Social becomes Truth Unavailable. Musk doesn't even need to admit fault. He can just smirk and say, 'Server overload. We're working on it.' MAGA may love him, but they'll riot if they miss Tucker's rerun. Final Thought: Welcome to the Unplugged War This isn't a feud—it's a glitch in the Matrix. Two megalomaniacs, both convinced they are The One. Trump, the spiritual father of populist politics. Musk, the meme-mad prophet of techno-libertarianism. They fed each other, validated each other, needed each other. But now the code is breaking. And if The Matrix taught us anything, it's this: when reality reasserts itself, the ones who rejected it scream the loudest. Musk took the red pill. Trump wrote the damn pill into law. Now they're locked in a fight to see who can bend reality back first. Only one can emerge from the simulation. The other gets ratioed on his own app.

Police Unease In Bengaluru As Heads Roll; BJP, Congress Spar Over ‘Scapegoat' Charges
Last Updated: Bengaluru Stampede: The BJP's attack follows Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's decision to suspend Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda, along with several officials Dissent is growing within the Karnataka police following the suspension of senior officers in the aftermath of the Bengaluru stampede, with many personnel believing the police are being made 'scapegoats" for the tragic incident that claimed 11 lives. Police constable Narasimharaju staged a protest holding a photo of Dr BR Ambedkar, symbolising his call for justice. He also wrote a letter to the Governor, requesting the cancellation of Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayanand's suspension. In his letter, Narasimharaju urged the Governor to provide protection to the police force, highlighting concerns over the treatment of officers working under difficult conditions. Meanwhile, the BJP slammed the Congress government in Karnataka over the stampede at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium, accusing the ruling party leaders of using cops as scapegoats to deflect blame. Former Karnataka Chief Minister and senior BJP leader BS Yediyurappa termed the state government's response as 'shameful," accusing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar of abandoning their moral responsibility during the unfolding tragedy. 'It is a shameful act that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Ministers themselves stood up and the entire government took responsibility for the system, and while celebrating RCB's victory, they forgot their moral responsibility," Yediyurappa said in a post on X in Kannada. 'To calm public anger, they have made five police officers, including the Police Commissioner, scapegoats. This is a dark chapter in Karunad's history," he added. The BJP's attack follows Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's decision to suspend Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda, along with several senior officials — including the ACP, DCP (Central), Cubbon Park SHO, and the stadium in-charge — in the wake of the stampede. The incident took place on Wednesday evening outside Chinnaswamy Stadium during the IPL victory celebration for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, which was co-hosted by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) and DNA Networks. BJP Mounts Attack Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly, R Ashoka, also voiced similar concerns, questioning the apparent contradictions within the Congress leadership. 'Yesterday, DK Shivakumar said the police had issued prior warnings and were not responsible. Now Siddaramaiah has suspended the Police Commissioner and several other top officials. What is going on?" Further holding the Congress leadership responsible for the stampede, he said, 'It was the police only who took all the injured people and the bodies to hospitals. The police gave first aid, did everything," he said. 'Do hard work but get bad remarks in return. This is the government." An FIR was registered on Thursday against the RCB franchise, event manager DNA Entertainment, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) management, and others. The case is now being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Congress Responds Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge responded on Friday to the recent stampede in Bengaluru, confirming that the officials involved had been suspended and that a magisterial inquiry had been initiated to probe the incident. 'The officers who are responsible have been suspended. We have made no scapegoats… A magisterial enquiry has been ordered and our next action will be according to the findings of the enquiry," Kharge said. Further, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said the government did not organise the celebrations at the stadium. 'We did not make any request to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) franchise or the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in this regard, and they had organised the victory celebration event. The government also felt that it should felicitate the players and be a part of the celebration because it was a Bengaluru team. That's all," he said. The Karnataka High Court, taking suo motu cognisance of the incident, issued a notice to the state government and requested a status report. The matter has been scheduled for the next hearing on June 10. RCB, Event Agency Officials Taken For Medical Tests After Being Arrested
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), DNA (event management company) officials have been taken into custody and are being taken for medical tests, on Friday. On June 4, the incident happened at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy stadium as a huge crowd of nearly three lakh people had gathered to witness the victory celebration of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, which won the Indian Premier League (IPL). Karnataka Police filed an FIR against the Karnataka Cricket Board Administrative Committee, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), among others, in the Bengaluru stampede incident. In response, KSCA has filed a writ petition in the High Court seeking the quashing of FIRs filed against it. #WATCH | Bengaluru, Karnataka: Those taken into custody in connection with the Bengaluru stampede case, being taken for a medical examination. — ANI (@ANI) June 6, 2025 KSCA board of directors, including President Raghuram Bhat, Secretary A. Shankar, Treasurer E.S. Jairam, appealed for the cancellation of the FIR. Following the stampede at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, the Karnataka police have suspended multiple IPS officers, including the Bengaluru city police Commissioner, B Dayananda. Senior IPS officer Seemant Kumar Singh took charge as the city police commissioner earlier today. Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge on Friday addressed the recent stampede incident in Bengaluru, stating that the officers responsible have been suspended and a magisterial enquiry has been ordered to investigate the matter. While speaking to reporters, Kharge said, "The officers who are responsible have been suspended. We have made no scapegoats... A magisterial enquiry has been ordered and our next action will be according to the findings of the enquiry..." "BJP likes to politicise everything. The same BJP, when told that a victory parade on an open bus in such a short time was not possible due to a lack of time to make arrangements, said that we were insulting the team. Now that post is deleted. BJP's intention of politicising everything is not healthy," he further said. He added that the Chief Minister has taken responsibility for the incident and assured that corrective measures will be implemented. Kharge also accused the BJP of politicising the tragedy.
