A man was taken to hospital after a car hit a tree, police say.Surrey Police is investigating after the crash at the junction of Little London Road and Park Road in Albury, near Guildford, on Tuesday at about 09:30 GMT.The man, in his 40s, was taken to hospital for medical treatment after South East Coast Ambulance Service and Surrey Fire and Rescue Service also attended, a police spokesperson added.The force said it wanted to trace the movements of a Black Jaguar E-Pace prior to the crash and asked anyone with information to get in touch.

A man has been jailed after a gun and taser were found in his chest of drawers. Jardel Edwards, 22, was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court after pleading guilty to two counts of being in possession of a firearm and ammunition. He also admitted being in possession of Class A drugs crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply, which plain-clothed police officers found in his pockets when he was stopped on 6 February in Webb Street, then searched his home in Cotton Mill Lane, Barton Hill, where they found the weapons in his bedroom, as well as further evidence of drugs supply. One arrest after two teenagers stabbed in Luton park
One person has been arrested after two teenage boys were seriously injured in a stabbing in a town park. Bedfordshire Police officers were called to Stockwood Park in Luton, by the Farley Hill entrance, at about 18:30 BST on Friday, following reports of two people with stab wounds. Emergency services attended and the boys were taken to hospital. The force said it believed it was "an isolated incident without further risk to the public". It added "a strong police presence" would remain at the scene. Stockwood Park is hosting an Eid al-Adha festival that started on Friday afternoon and is due to take place from 13:00 until 21:00 on Saturday.
