Zac Efron's lookalike brother Dylan hints at major career change as he joins his Traitors co-stars at Variety TV FYC Fest
The star, 33, works behind the scenes as a production coordinator and has been involved in many projects, including American Sniper, Live by Night and Ready Player One.
In January, he made his reality TV debut on the third season of The Traitors US, which saw Dylan and his fellow Faithfuls vote to end the game and split $204,300 (roughly £153,600).
Now appearing on stage at the Meet the Makers event with his co-stars Rob Mariano, Dolores Catania, and Bob the Drag Queen, the star teased that fans could be seeing more of him.
When asked by host Emily Longeretta if it was an immediate 'yes' to sign up to the reality competition show, he replied: 'No, it wasn't. Mine was just I'd never done reality show before.
'So, like I've been offered some auditions for shows, like Survivor and stuff, and, like, I've always turned them down.'
He continued: 'So this was the first time where I'm like, all right, I think I can do this. And so it took a little while, but I said yes.'
'You turned down Survivor?' Emily asked.
Dylan clarified: 'No I wasn't like offered Survivor. It was like, "Hey we think you'd be good, when do you want to audition?"
'It was like stuff like that, like Love Islands and stuff, which I couldn't do. So then this one was like, all right, I might be ready.'
Prior to appearing on The Traitors, which came to an end on March 6, his older brother sang high praise about him.
Zac, 37, previously said he was confident that his younger brother would win and beat all of his costars.
'I think he's going to win,' Zac said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in June 2024.
'He's really good at games, and I just have a good feeling about it.'
He also added that Dylan has always had luck on his side when it comes to gambling and games.
'He is just the best at games. Growing up, he was a first-roll-[at-Yahtzee]-kind-of-dude.'
It comes just a month after Dylan revealed he saved two girls from drowning in Miami Beach, Florida.
The heroic star, whose A-list brother Zac starred in the 2017 movie Baywatch, had a lifeguard moment when he rushed into the water to rescue the women.
Dylan said he noticed them struggling in the strong currents as he recalled the frightening ordeal on Brooke & Connor Make A Podcast.
He said: 'It was really random. I showed up to the beach, it was my first time ever actually like on the beach.
'And [I] walk up to the shore for the first time ever, and I'm looking out and it was just people screaming in the water.
'So, I just saw like five girls. Like their hands were up, screaming, there's people on the shore with their hands up.
'I looked around and there were no lifeguards around and I was with my buddy Brennan and we just sprinted out there.
'There were two closest to us that already had a guy helping them in and then there was three out further so I swam one in and swam out for another girl.
'It was really real. The last girl I swam in I was just trying to calm her down and just saying like "breath, breath" and she just wrapped my in the biggest hug.
'We hugged for like a full minute, just like hugging this girl on shore, like "You're safe your good" and then just walked away.'
'I'm in the water a lot so I just new, the current was ripping we ended up like a football pitch away. The girls probably just got a bit too far away', he added.
Zac starred in the 2017 film Baywatch, which was filmed on Florida's Emerald Bay, and played the hunky new lifeguard.

Iconic internet provider to switch off after 34 YEARS as exact ‘death date' revealed
A LONG-RUNNING internet provider that was huge in the late 90s and into the 00s is finally preparing to switch off. At its peak the firm had more than 30million customers worldwide. 2 2 But many people are surprised to learn that the service in question still exists to this day in some countries. AOL has revealed plans to shut down its iconic dial-up internet service for good. Its legacy AOL Dialer software and AOL Shield browser will be discontinued as a result too. But the firm's email has survived the cull and will continue as normal. AOL's dial-up is set to end on September 30. "AOL routinely evaluates its products and services and has decided to discontinue Dial-up Internet," the company said on its website. "This service will no longer be available in AOL plans. "As a result, on September 30, 2025 this service and the associated software, the AOL Dialer software and AOL Shield browser, which are optimized for older operating systems and dial-up internet connections, will be discontinued." The move impacts the US and Canada, where the company has offered dial-up since 1991. A few years later AOL made waves across the pond, with its famed "You have email" greeting voiced by Joanna Lumley for the UK and the AIM messenger. CHECK YOUR SPEED: Broadband AOL's UK internet provider operation was bought by TalkTalk 's then-owners in 2006, which included 600,000 on dial-up and 1.5 million with broadband.
