Aldi to refund customers if they miss an England goal
Aldi will reimburse unlucky football fans in Hampshire who miss an England goal during the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 tournament while shopping in-store. The supermarket chain has pledged to support its customers who miss key moments of the game by giving them back up to £100 in Aldi vouchers. Advertisement This is part of their initiative to encourage support for the women's teams throughout the tournament. Rebecca Heley, communications director at Aldi UK, said: "We're backing the Lionesses and the Dragons all the way this summer and we want to make sure our shoppers enjoy the games too. "We've got a wide range of products in store to help people celebrate across the country and for anyone shopping with us while the action's unfolding – whether they've popped out to top up on match-day snacks or are watching along on-the-go – we're giving Aldi shoppers another reason to cheer when one of our home nations scores this summer." READ MORE: Free parking offered to those who book Princess Cruises trips Advertisement To claim the reimbursement, shoppers have to be at the checkout when England scores a goal in any match throughout the tournament. They then need to send a picture of their receipt to MissedAGoal@ The first two entrants per goal will be given the value of their shop back in Aldi vouchers, up to £100. The time on the receipt must be during the same minute that a Lioness scores a goal for England.

I'm a Diehard Apple Fan, but This July 4th Offer on the Lenovo Tab Plus Has Me Seriously Reconsidering My iPad Obsession
I've been part of the Apple ecosystem for close to 20 years -- since first buying a MacBook in 2006 and getting a free iPod (remember those?) with my purchase. While these days I do most of my work on a much newer MacBook, I've used an older iPad for travel for a number of years. My teenage son is after a new tablet for himself, and though my instinct is to go back to Apple, this Fourth of July offer on the Lenovo Tab Plus has me seriously considering snapping one up. Available directly through Lenovo, the Lenovo Tab Plus is down to $220, a $130 discount on the usual price. For that you'll get 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage, great picture quality and excellent sound thanks to built-in JBL speakers. Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money. It turns out I'm not the only Apple devotee with a penchant for Android tablets. Cesar Cadenas, a writer over at CNET's sibling site ZDNet, wrote a favorable review of the Lenovo Tab Plus. Among his many praises, he particularly loved the JBL eight-speaker system, which packs a surprising punch. As someone who usually feels the need for an external speaker or headphones with my iPad, I love the idea of decent sound quality built in. The Lenovo Tab Plus features an 11.5-inch display, and weighs in at 1.4 pounds. That's pretty lightweight, which makes it ideal for travel. The other tempting feature, beyond that speaker setup, is the integrated kickstand for easy viewing. Ultimately, this device is made for streaming movies, gaming and maybe a bit of e-reading and light internet surfing. As a secondary device to a laptop, it makes a lot of sense. Especially for the teen who keeps borrowing my tablet. You'll also get a MediaTek Helio G99 processor and an Android 14 operating system, which can be upgraded to Android 16. It's capable of a 1TB of expandable storage capacity if you choose. Lenovo Tab Plus: $220 (Original price: $350) See at Lenovo Not convinced? Check out CNET's roundup of the best Fourth of July Apple deals right now. And be sure to browse through some of our other roundups for round the clock bargain updates, including items under $25, top deals from Amazon competitors like Best Buy, Walmart and Home Depot, and more. The Lenovo Pad Plus offers an elevated tablet experience with a decent-sized screen at an already competitive price of $350. With that price dropped down by more than $100, it places this Android tablet firmly in the running, especially if you're on the hunt for a device for a student.

If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission. Summer is the perfect time to travel or just get out of the house. You don't have to go on a tropical vacation to be on the move this time of year. And whether it's to the beach, a lake house or an amusement park, even staycations or day trips are a lot of work. They can also leave you with a low phone battery or dead AirPods. Thank goodness, there are 3-in-1 MagSafe charging stations that exist now so that you can charge multiple devices at once. They can be pretty expensive, though, and that's why we're impressed with Aldi's upcoming charging bundle. It's so similar to an Anker model that costs four times the price. From July 9 to July 15, Aldi will be selling their Bauhn MagCharge 3 in 1 Charging Bundle for $19.99 in their Aldi Finds aisle of local U.S. stores. This is a MagCharge charging station that allows you to charge your phone, AirPods and Apple Watch all at the same time. Your devices need to be MagSafe compatible, meaning that they can charge without plugging in. This includes the iPhone 12 through iPhone 16 models, AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro. It's sleek, gray and The charging bundle folds up when not in use into a compact pad. But when you need to charge something, it opens up so that it's propped open with three levels. It holds your MagSafe-compatible iPhone in the middle, sits your AirPods on the bottom and hangs your Apple Watch on the upper platform. It has overheat protection, so you don't have to worry about it getting too hot while it's charging three things. All of the devices that are able to work with this station magnetically connect to it, so things are pretty sturdy. Aldi's site reported that it has 15W super-fast charging, a Type-C port and a 6-foot long Type-C cable (which connects to a block that goes into a wall outlet). Related: This isn't the first of its kind; in fact, popular tech brand Anker has their MagGo 3 in 1 Charging Station, which is very similar. It costs $83.99 on Amazon and offers a lot of the same things as the Aldi bundle. It's MagSafe-compatible to offer wireless charging, it has 15W charging and has a USB-C adapter. It isn't exactly the same design—it has one platform for your AirPods with a leaning feature for your phone and Apple Watch—but it does the same thing (and visually isn't too different). It also folds up in a compact way that's nearly the same. And even if you didn't want to go with a well-known brand, something like the ADAM Elements Magnetic Wireless Charger/Travel Charger is still $59.25 on Amazon. This one is visually closer to Aldi's design and does all of the same things. So, if you can't leave the house without your Apple Watch and AirPods (and of course your iPhone) and you're looking for a charging station to charge all of your devices at once, Aldi's Bauhn MagCharge 3 in 1 Charging Bundle is worth checking out. And even though it's great for travel because it folds up so nicely, it can also make a nice, compact charging area in your Next:Aldi Is Selling a Cool $20 3-in-1 Charging Bundle Similar to an Anker Style 4x the Price first appeared on Parade on Jul 6, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 6, 2025, where it first appeared.
