Vivo T4 Lite 5G India Launch: Vivo has launched the affordable Vivo T4 Lite 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The newly launched smartphone joins the existing Vivo T4 Ultra 5G, T4 5G, and T4x 5G models in the country. It is the company's most affordable 5G smartphone and is aimed at users who want style, decent performance, and a big battery in the budget segment.
The Vivo T4 Lite 5G comes in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage variants. It is offered in Prism Blue and Titanium Gold colour options and comes with SGS five-star anti-fall certification and MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability. The T4 Lite 5G runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. The Chinese smartphone maker is also promising two years of Android updates and three years of security patches. The new model focuses on offering a balanced mix of performance, durability, and camera features under Rs. 10,000 in the market.

Vivo T4 Lite 5G Specifications
The Vivo T4 Lite 5G is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM for smooth performance. It features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, offering a fluid and vibrant viewing experience.
The phone is backed by a large 6,000mAh battery with 15W charging support, Vivo claims the device can deliver up to 70 hours of music playback or 22 hours of video streaming on a single charge.
On the photography front, the smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, while a 5-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls. The camera features include AI Photo Enhance and AI Erase for smarter image editing.
The handset also come with additional features which include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C connectivity.
Vivo T4 Lite 5G Price In India And Availability
The smartphone is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 6GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 10,999, while the top-tier 8GB + 256GB variant comes in at Rs. 12,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting July 2 via Flipkart, Vivo India's official online store, and select offline retail outlets.

Phillip Capital flags growth risks for Dixon Tech amid rising competition; lowers target price to ₹9085
Dixon Technologies share price in focus: Shares of Dixon Technologies tumbled 2.5% in Wednesday's trade (June 25), falling to ₹ 14,585 apiece, even as the broader Indian stock market traded in positive territory. This drop in one of the country's leading EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) companies came after global brokerage firm Phillip Capital downgraded its estimates for Dixon, citing rising competition in the mobile phone assembly space. According to the brokerage, Dixon's largest client, Motorola, has started outsourcing domestic volumes to Karbonn, which currently accounts for 25% of Motorola's monthly volume, a figure expected to rise to 35% by June. As part of its diversification strategy, Motorola has been actively expanding its supplier base. Motorola contributes approximately 40% of Dixon's mobile phone volumes but nearly 72% of its mobile phone revenues. Dixon had significantly benefited from Motorola's market share gains in the Indian smartphone market in CY24 compared to CY23. When Motorola was a smaller player in CY23, Dixon handled its entire manufacturing. As Motorola has achieved scale, it has started outsourcing some of its volumes to Karbonn to diversify its supply chain. It is worth noting that Karbonn itself is a recipient of mobile phone PLI and, therefore, can be cost-competitive in the mobile phone assembly space. The brokerage said the company's exports have ramped up in the last few months, but domestic volume gain by Karbonn means Dixon's YoY growth from Motorola will be capped at c.15% at best. In addition to Motorola, Dixon's second-largest client, Longcheer, has also begun diversifying its supply chain. While Dixon's volumes from Longcheer have grown over the past year, the client outsourced a small portion (2%) to Karbonn in May CY25. Though currently modest, Phillip Capital believes this could scale up quickly, following a pattern similar to Motorola's shift. Motorola initially outsourced just 1–2% of its volumes to Karbonn in February CY25, which jumped to 30% by May. On a more positive note, Dixon and Vivo entered into a 51:49 joint venture (JV) for mobile phone manufacturing in December CY24. The JV, which is currently awaiting regulatory approval, is expected to begin contributing to Dixon's topline by FY27. Management anticipates that the JV will handle two-thirds of Vivo India's mobile phone volumes. Based on a proportional volume-to-value ratio, the JV could generate revenue of ₹ 160 billion at optimal utilization, with Dixon's share estimated at ₹ 80 billion. Phillip Capital has lowered its revenue, EBITDA, and PAT estimates for Dixon Technologies for FY27 by 4%, 6%, and 9%, respectively, to reflect the intensifying competition in the mobile phone assembly space. Dixon shares its PLI (Production Linked Incentive) benefits with its mobile phone clients, which is currently offset by favorable Net Working Capital (NWC) terms. However, once the mobile phone PLI scheme ends, the brokerage expects Dixon's NWC days to trend toward 35+, in line with peers—Foxconn's stood at 40+ in CY24—which could lead to a declining RoCE trajectory. Factoring this in, Phillip Capital has also revised its valuation multiple, cutting the PE multiple from 50x to 45x FY27 EPS of ₹ 202, resulting in a revised target price of ₹ 9,085, down from the earlier target of ₹ 11,077. Smart City plans monthly pass to ensure max use of Palayam MLCP
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In an effort to reduce waiting time, provide hassle-free parking, and offer cost-effective solutions for regular users, Smart City Thiruvananthapuram Ltd (SCTL) is set to introduce a monthly pass system for the multi-level car parking (MLCP) facility at Palayam. Currently, users are charged Rs 15 per hour for parking at the MLCP. The monthly pass initiative is being introduced to address low patronage at the Palayam MLCP and to cater to growing demand from local residents and business owners who require long-term parking. 'There are people in the locality who lack space to park their vehicles at their homes and resort to roadside parking. Concerns about vehicle safety have prompted many to approach us with requests for a more feasible long-term parking solution,' said an SCTL official. According to the official, monthly pass holders will be able to park for extended periods - even three to four days at a stretch - without paying the cumulative hourly fee. 'Users opting for the monthly pass can save up to 40% compared to the current hour-based charges. The proposal is under the Smart City Board's consideration and is likely to be taken up in the upcoming meeting,' the official added. SCTL has initiated a study to identify vacant slots at the Palayam MLCP that can be reserved for monthly pass users. Meanwhile, two more MLCPs - one at East Fort and another at the Medical College Hospital (MCH) - are nearing completion. According to sources, the MCH facility is expected to be completed within the next two weeks, with trial runs scheduled to begin soon. In addition, the Rs 20-crore MLCP at Putharikandam is expected to be ready by next month. 'We have also received a request from the Railways for dedicated parking lots at the Putharikandam MLCP for railway commuters. The proposal is currently under review,' the official said.
