'Bigg Boss' Fame Abdu Rozik Arrested At Dubai Airport On Theft Allegations
Rozik was detained by authorities at around 5 am over the weekend, shortly after arriving in Dubai from Montenegro.
However, the specific nature of the complaint has not been disclosed, and authorities have issued no official statement, the report said.
"All we can say is that we are aware he has been taken into custody on allegations of theft," a company representative told Khaleej Times, declining to provide further details.
Rozik's popularity rose through his music, viral videos, and reality television appearances, including Bigg Boss 16.
Rozik is a popular Tajikistani singer who sang various songs, including Ohi Dili Zor, Chaki Chaki Boron and Modar. In 2022, he was invited to attend the 22nd IIFA Awards ceremony in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where he sang the Hindi song "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga" from the 1994 film 1942: A Love Story.
In 2024, he was also questioned by India's Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering investigation involving a hospitality firm, though he was not named as an accused, according to Khaleej Times.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Fazilpuria contested from the Gurugram constituency, representing the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). He was defeated by BJP's Mukesh Sharma, who secured a victory by a margin of 1.22 lakh votes.

Haryanvi singer Fazilpuria, whose real name is Rahul Yadav, escaped unhurt after unidentified assailants opened fire at his vehicle near Gurugram. As per a News18 report, the incident took place on Monday on the Southern Peripheral Road near Badshahpur. Fazilpuria became a hit nationwide with the 2014 song Ladki Beautiful Kar Gayi Chull. Shooting at Fazilpuria's car near Gurgaon Fazilpuria was inside his car when several rounds were fired at it. As per the report, eyewitnesses said that the assailants were able to flee the scene immediately after the attack. No injuries were reported. The police have started an investigation into the incident. Authorities are reviewing the footage from the CCTV and gathering evidence. Fazilpuria made headlines in 2024 over snake venom case Last year, Fazilpuria was in the news after the Lucknow unit of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) confiscated movable and immovable assets worth over ₹58 lakh belonging to him and YouTuber Elvish Yadav. The action was taken under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in connection with a snake venom case registered by Gautambuddhnagar police, according to senior ED officials in Lucknow. At that time, a senior ED official confirmed that the confiscated properties included approximately three acres of land in Bijnor registered in Fazilpuria's name, as well as bank accounts belonging to Elvish, Fazilpuria, and a private firm that produced their videos. The ED had questioned Fazilpuria twice since May 2024 but remained unsatisfied with his responses. He was questioned for several hours at the ED Lucknow office in July last year about the use of a snake in one of his popular songs. The ED had registered a case under the PMLA related to a snake venom-rave party due to the large financial transactions involved in the racket in February 2024. ED questions Robert Vadra for 5 hours in Sanjay Bhandari-linked PMLA case
Robert Vadra, the businessman husband of Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, was on Monday questioned for about five hours by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case linked to UK-based arms consultant Sanjay Bhandari and some others, official sources said. The 56-year-old Vadra arrived at the federal probe agency's office located in central Delhi after 11 am. He was accompanied by Priyanka Gandhi, MP from Kerala's Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. The session ended shortly after 5 pm, during which Vadra once went out during lunch hour. The businessman's statement was recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), the sources said. They said he may be called again for questioning as he allegedly "failed" to answer certain questions regarding his financial links with Bhandari and his family members. He was called by the agency twice last month for questioning in this case, but he sought deferment of his summons as he reported being unwell during the first summons and later had to travel abroad after obtaining approval from a local court. Vadra is being investigated by the agency in three different money laundering cases, including two pertaining to alleged irregularities in land deals. He was questioned by the ED in April for three consecutive days in a case linked to alleged irregularities in a 2008 Haryana land deal case. The businessman is also being investigated by the anti-money laundering agency in a case related to alleged financial irregularities in a land deal in Rajasthan's Bikaner. The case linked to Vadra and Bhandari pertains to the ED findings reported in a chargesheet in 2023, alleging Bhandari "acquired" the 12, Bryanston Square house located in London in 2009 and got it renovated "as per the directions of Vadra and the funds for renovation were provided by Robert Vadra." Vadra has denied that he owns any London property directly or indirectly. Terming these charges as a political witch hunt against him, he said that he was being "hounded and harassed" to subserve political ends. The ED is expected to file a fresh chargesheet in the Bhandari case following the recording of Vadra's statement. The 63-year-old Bhandari fled to London in 2016, soon after the Income Tax department raided him in Delhi. He was recently declared a fugitive economic offender by a Delhi court, paving the way for confiscation of his properties worth crores of rupees. A UK court, sometime back, refused the Indian government's application seeking permission to appeal in Britain's Supreme Court against the discharge of Bhandari in an extradition case against him, virtually ruling out chances of his being brought to the country to face the law.
