A delight for MMA fans, especially those of the
former lightweight champion
Charles Oliveira
, is on the line as 'O Faixa-Preta' famed director Eduardo Ferra and
405 films
have acquired the rights to the
fighter's biopic
and are in the process of developing it.
The ambitious project will showcase the life of the fighter and his journey from a rather neglected childhood to the UFC championship.
'O Faixa-Preta' famed director Eduardo Ferra to lead the project, will focus on the journey from childhood to championship status
Nicknamed "Do Bronx," Charles Oliveira had a rather troubled early life owing to certain medical issues. Almost life-threatening, these issues led his doctors to recommend a total no-sport life for the former champion. However, the fighter, regardless, broke these barriers to emerge from the Vicente de Carvalho impoverished neighborhood in Guarujá, São Paulo, dominated the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and went on to become the lightweight world champion in 2021.
With a Pro-MMA record of 35-10-0, Oliveira has defeated some of the biggest names in the competition like Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler.
Oliveira's biopic will focus on this very journey, which has been an inspiration for many. In a recent press release, Do Bronx acknowledged the initiative taken by Eduardo Ferro and his team in 405 films and stated, 'From the favelas of Guarujá to the bright lights of the Octagon, this has always been about heart, faith, and never giving up.
Eduardo and 405 Films are the right team to bring the story to life.'
Adding to the statement, Ferro further stated, 'Charles' story will be more than a movie — like his whole life, this will be a message to every kid out there who feels like the world forgot them: your time is coming. 'The champion has a name' — and now the world will know how it happened.'
While the pre-production has already begun, the title of the film is yet to be announced. Eduardo Ferro is known for his work 'O Faixa-Preta', which also focuses on the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. A hit in Latin America, fans can rather have a high expectation from the upcoming biopic on Oliveira. The film will mostly be shot in Las Vegas and Brazil.

'Does anyone care?' NFL fans roast Aaron Rodgers' marriage drama while his family stays unconvinced
(Getty Images) Aaron Rodgers claims he's a married man but the internet's reaction? Somewhere between who cares and he married the Hat Man. After Rodgers casually dropped that he's been married for 'a couple of months,' fans expected a bombshell love story. Instead, they got legal records that show no marriage and a family that doesn't believe him either. Naturally, NFL Twitter did what it does best: trolled the entire situation into oblivion. Aaron Rodgers says he's married, but legal records and family sources say 'huh?' It started with a surprise: during a Steelers press interaction, Rodgers pointed to the black ring on his finger and confirmed it's a wedding band. He said he's been married for a while but there's no marriage license in Pennsylvania or Las Vegas, and even his family reportedly isn't convinced it ever happened. According to the sources close to Rodgers' family say they believe it might've been a symbolic commitment, not a legal wedding. No bride has been introduced to the family, and no official documentation has surfaced. This leaves fans wondering: did Rodgers actually get married, or did he just vibe his way into matrimony? NFL fans aren't buying it and they're definitely not keeping quiet The reactions under post were instant and savage. Some fans dismissed the drama entirely. Users kept it blunt: 'As long as he's not injured irdc what he got going on. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like เทรด CFDs ด้วยเทคโนโลยีเทรดสุดล้ำ และ รวดเร็วกว่า IC Markets สมัคร Undo This right here is not important.' Another user delivered peak sarcasm: 'Omg I need to know so I can sleep tonight. Said no one ever.' So, is Aaron Rodgers legally married? Maybe. Maybe not. Is the NFL community spiraling over it? Not exactly. If anything, they're collectively rolling their eyes, posting jokes, and moving on with their day. In classic Rodgers fashion, he's made headlines without actually answering a single question. Until there's a wedding certificate, a public ceremony, or a formal introduction to this mysterious 'wife,' the court of public opinion is sticking with its verdict: Rodgers might be married, but fans are already over it. NFL teams embrace soccer culture with Fanatics' globe-themed jersey collection
NFL (via Getty Images) The National Football League ( NFL ) has teamed up with Fanatics to unveil a groundbreaking new apparel line—the NFL Football x Football Collection—that unites classic soccer flair with the distinctive character of each NFL franchise. With all 32 NFL teams, the collection presents soccer-style jerseys with classic American football hues and logos, aiming to unite two of the globe's most beloved sports in a style-conscious celebration of global fandom. NFL and Fanatics revolutionize fanwear with soccer-influenced jerseys for the entire 32 teams The National Football League (NFL) and Fanatics have unveiled a historic fanwear initiative—the NFL Football x Football Collection—that will usher in the blending of soccer and American football cultures. Each jersey in the series reflects the deep history and character of its individual NFL team, such as the Kansas City Chiefs' bright red-and-yellow striped jerseys show the old European football strips, and the Buffalo Bills' jersey, which sports a cutting-edge red-and-blue motif inspired by both their NFL heritage and soccer graphics. The global gaze wasn't coincidental—Fanatics enlisted a design team from Europe, South America, and the USA to take authenticity to the next level for football as well as soccer traditions. The cross-continent collaboration means jerseys that not only are stunning but also carry meaning with them for both sports viewers. Fans attending the event will be the first to get to know the limited-edition range, which will be available in the larger merchandise village on the grounds. For global fans, Fanatics has already announced a limited rollout internationally to continue through official NFL stores, so global fans can be part of this cultural exchange. By combining the design lexicon of football with American football's storied heritage, the NFL Football x Football Collection signals a broader movement toward sports fan globalization. In this innovative drop, the NFL not only honors its legacy but possibly sets the stage for future cross-sport collaborations—football clubs adopting NFL-designated jerseys in return, maybe.
