Five NFL games we can't wait to watch in the 2025 season
The NFL schedule for the 2025-2026 season has been released. Here are a few games on our must-watch list.
The Dallas Cowboys' offense has undergone a mini-makeover this offseason.
Dallas traded for wide receiver George Pickens, shoring up the room alongside All-Pro CeeDee Lamb. They hope the revamped unit will return quarterback Dak Prescott to his 2023 output, where he finished runner-up in MVP voting.

The talented duo of Lamb and Pickens has some wondering how the chemistry will unfold on the field, especially with the unpredictable behavior Pickens displayed throughout his first three years in Pittsburgh.
Some of those concerns could subside after both participated in Kyler Murray's charity softball game over the weekend, where Lamb discussed their collaboration in an interview with DLLS Sports.
"We both ones (No. 1 receivers)," Lamb said with Pickens standing nearby. "It ain't no A, B, none of that. It's one. You look over there, you see one. You look over here, you see another one. So do what you gotta do with that."
Pickens, Pittsburgh's second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, led Steelers receivers in receptions (59) and yards (900) in 2024.
Lamb has been the unquestioned top receiver for "America's Team," leading Dallas with over 100 receptions and 1,100 yards in three consecutive seasons.
You have to go back to Lamb's second NFL season (2021) for the last time he split targets with another receiver, Amari Cooper. Since then, no other Cowboys receiver aside from Lamb has surpassed 660 receiving yards or 54 receptions.

Dallas ranked first or second in points per game for four consecutive seasons before 2024.
They ranked 18th with Prescott healthy under center in eight games. Prescott posted a career-worst passer rating (86) and QBR (45.6) in those eight games.
Perhaps the addition of a top-tier talent like Pickens at wide receiver is what the offense needs to return to form. Brandin Cooks signed with the Saints in free agency, leaving special teams maven KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Tolbert to battle for the No. 3 wide receiver spot.

Bears' Kevin Byard sounds off on NFL players playing in Olympics For the first time in history, NFL players will be allowed to compete in the 2028 Olympic Games for flag football. While much of the conversation will be revolved around the potential risks vs. rewards in the decision to the let NFL players compete in the Olympics, there's been a widespread response around the league, and veterans on the Chicago Bears are also weighing in on the decision. Safety Kevin Byard recently stared his thoughts about the ruling. While he understands the allure of playing for his country in the Olympics, he's not necessarily looking to participate. "I think for any athlete to be able to have the opportunity to go and get a gold medal for our country, I think that's an enormous opportunity and it's a blessing," Byard said. "Would I want to play? Probably not, if you asked me probably five some years ago, I probably would be one of the guys in the front of the line. I did hear something about it, I think it'll be during training camp. I don't want to speak too soon, but I just don't know how that would work." Byard believes Bears quarterback Caleb Williams would be a good fit for flag football, but with teams preparing in training camp, he doesn't see how the timing would make sense for anyone who is involved. "I think we got a lot of guys on our team that probably can do it," Byard said. "I'm not sure he's going to want to do it, but I think Caleb would be an excellent flag football team quarterback. Especially with the broken plays and being able to scramble around, do those type of things. I think it is a blessing for sure." It's going to be interesting to see how the NFL and their top players come together to decide on how they'll play in the 2028 Olympics. While it would be beneficial for the worldwide reach of the league and sport, it also comes with risk of top players being banged up before the regular season.
