Denise Richards' Estranged Husband Takes The Gloves Off Amid Infidelity Claims
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum's estranged husband brought the heat with evidence he claims showcases his ex-partner's months-long tryst with a former Recon Marine. He discovered 107 messages between the alleged lovers on his wife's phone.
Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers have been throwing scathing accusations back and forth ever since the latter filed for divorce early this month. The entertainer slammed her ex with domestic violence claims while he accused her of infidelity and substance addiction.
Aaron Phypers Drops Explicit Evidence Of Denise Richards' Alleged Infidelity
Phypers brought out the big guns in his legal drama with Richards by releasing shocking messages that seemingly captured his estranged wife having an affair. He shared multiple X-rated pictures and texts sent between Richards and a man named Rudy Reyes.
The alleged conversations between Richards and Reyes revealed they first met during her appearance on Fox's reality TV show "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test." The former Bravolebrity's rumored lover appeared as one of the military training program's presenters and "Directing Staff" instructors.
The Daily Mail reviewed the evidence Phypers shared with them, noting the text messages unveiled several plans for hotel hookups and explicit pictures of Richards in lingerie or Reyes naked. There was also a video of the former Recon Marine pleasuring himself, which disgusted Phypers.
The Entertainer's Estranged Husband Found 107 Heartbreaking Messages
Phypers reflected on his discovery of the alleged affair, saying: "I just had this feeling that something was off because her behavior had changed – she was being kind of cool to me." Richards' bizarre behavior fueled his suspicions, and he checked her phone.
"I opened her phone – we both know each other's passwords – so I opened it up, and then I went to her deleted texts, and there were 107 of them between her and this guy. I went through them, and it just broke my heart," Phypers confessed.
He noted he found out about the alleged affair in April and confronted Richards, who begged for forgiveness and promised to end her relationship with Reyes. However, Phypers claimed he discovered she had hooked up with her alleged lover at a Hilton Garden Inn in Burbank the following month.
The Second Discovery Sparked The Former Couple's July 4 Fight
Phypers explained that he was outraged by Richards' continued affair, noting his discovery of the May incident led to their infamous row over the July 4 weekend. However, he alleged she smashed his phone in the heat of the moment, contrary to initial reports that pinned the blame on both of them.
Following the verbal altercation, Phypers stormed out and filed to end his marriage to Richards. Sources echoed similar sentiments about the outcome of their fight, with The Blast reporting that they claimed the former couple's relationship had long since deteriorated from love to hatred.
"All they were doing was fighting. It was very toxic. Denise is both devastated and relieved at the same time. She is mentally exhausted from the fighting, and she is glad that's over," an insider shared.
They added that Richards was looking forward to her divorce, but she was worried about Phypers dragging out the proceedings.
The Exes Slammed Each Other With Scathing Allegations
Phypers released the explicit text messages shortly after Richards denied his infidelity and substance addiction claims. The Blast covered the story, reporting that she addressed the accusations through her attorney, Brett Berman. The legal rep slammed her estranged husband in a statement, alleging:
"In addition to the repeated abuse perpetrated by Mr. Phypers against Ms. Richards throughout the parties' marriage, Mr. Phypers has continued to harass Ms. Richards since being served with the Temporary Restraining Order."
Berman claimed Phypers was harassing Richards by exposing the private information he stole from her cell phone and laptop. "Ms. Richards will not be responding to Mr. Phypers' false allegations in a public forum, and will be addressing Mr. Phypers' abuse in Court," the attorney concluded.
Denise Richards Accused Her Former Partner Of Physical Violence
Phypers clapped back at his estranged wife's attorney, stressing that Richards was infamous for her alleged alcohol and substance addiction after slurring her words on "RHOBH." Additionally, he denied stealing her private information, quipping:
"Nothing was stolen, and nothing is missing, except, perhaps, Ms. Richards' moral compass."
Phypers' comments followed Richards' domestic violence restraining order, a petition The Blast reported she filed seeking protection from his alleged physical abuse.
She claimed he repeatedly attacked her during their marriage, noting he would choke and slap her, and once slammed her head into a bathroom towel rack.
How will Denise Richards respond to the explicit evidence of her alleged infidelity?

Highly Anticipated Elise Set to Open in Midtown Tomorrow
Henna Bakshi is the Regional Editor, South at Eater and an award-winning food and wine journalist with a WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) Level 3 degree. She oversees coverage in Atlanta, Miami, New Orleans, the Carolinas, and Nashville. The Woodruff Arts Center in Midtown is finally getting its long-awaited crescendo. Chef Craig Richards, of acclaimed Italian restaurant Lyla Lila, is opening Elise at the Center tomorrow, August 19. It replaces Table 1280, with a brand new, artful interior, a French and Italian-focused menu, and a large wine list. Named after Beethoven's Für Elise, the restaurant will represent a showcase of the culinary arts, and it's in good company with the Woodruff Arts Center, home to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Alliance Theatre, and High Museum of Art. The menu at Elise will focus on fresh seafood and seasonal produce. Angie Webb Chef Richards' signature pasta will also be offered. Angie Webb Expect to find Richards' famed house-made pasta on the menu, including his signature cacio e pepe risotto, linguine with clams and langoustines, tagliatelle with rabbit ragu, and gnocchetti with crab and fennel pollen butter. Fresh seafood will also play an important role on the menu (scallop crudo, halibut with ginger beurre blanc and caviar) — a nod to Richards' time spent at Italian restaurant St. Cecilia in Buckhead. Smaller lunch offerings and a five-course tasting menu for dinner will soon be available for $95, with a wine pairing offered at $45. The restaurant will carry 100 wines, with a focus on French producers. More exciting is the bar's promise of a vermouth menu, offering five to six varieties. The dining room at Elise has vivid red and green seating and decor, with pieces from various artists featured in the restaurant. Angie Webb Elise comes on the heels of Richards' other highly anticipated art and dining project, Monospace, a DJ-driven dining experience, at the Stove Works Arts Center in Chattanooga. Richards grew up playing the piano and has taught a weekly culinary course at Auburn University, so it only makes sense that music and art have culminated to inspire the chef in his next chapters. The space, designed by award-winning Italian architect Renzo Piano, is filled with light. Velvet green and red, plush seating lines the art-accentuated wall, with matching rugs to tie the colors together. A large abstract painting by Tommy Taylor, with pink, green, and purple hues, sets a dramatic backdrop for the restaurant. More art pieces, like a textured fabric sculpture by Sonya Yong James a the entrance, and a painting from Athens-based Chrissy Reed's bold 'Blobbies' series adorn the walls. The restaurant is designed by award-winning Italian architect Renzo Piano. Angie Webb 'There's something meaningful about returning to a space that first inspired you,' says Richards in a statement. 'When I dined here back in 2005, I was drawn to the architecture and the atmosphere. Now, to have the opportunity to contribute my own vision — one that is shaped by food, music, and design — feels both personal and creatively full circle.' Elise will open for dinner Tuesday to Sunday, starting at 5 p.m. Reservations are now available. Dianna Agron Says It's ‘Hard to Think About' Her Late ‘Glee' Costars as Gone: ‘They Feel So Present'
The deaths of Glee stars Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera and Mark Salling are still difficult for their former costar Dianna Agron to process. 'It's hard to think of our loved ones from the show not being present with us anymore because they feel so present in my heart, body, mind, soul, all of it,' Agron, 39, said on the Wednesday, August 13, episode of the 'And That's What You REALLY Missed' podcast. 'I think that tenderness I feel and the memories that I have [of] who Cory, Naya and Mark were as people, as cast members, as our friends and family [are] just so vivid.' She added, 'That will never dissipate for me, ever. I think there's beauty in that. I could replay memory after memory after memory.' Agron played Quinn Fabray on Fox's Glee opposite Monteith's Finn Hudson. Rivera and Salling played Santana Lopez and Noah 'Puck' Puckerman, respectively. 'Glee' Cast: Where Are They Now? Monteith died in July 2013, two years before Glee wrapped, following an accidental overdose at the age of 31. Salling died by suicide in 2018 at the age of 35, and Rivera drowned in a fatal boating accident in 2020 after getting her young son, Josey, to safety. Agron further said that she often looks back on her former costars' talent and work ethic with fondness in the years since their respective deaths. 'He was a teddy bear, and I mean that in a way of his kindness and groundedness in himself was so perfect,' Agron recalled of Monteith, who played her on-again, off-again TV boyfriend. 'He was this tall, big brotherly presence in all of our lives.' She continued, '[Cory] just felt so safe and equally excited about what he was getting to experience with his character. His character had a leadership position in the show, as well, and there was not an ungenerous bone in his body.' Lea Michele Recalls Grieving Late Cory Monteith Publicly: 'No One Handed Me a Guidebook' While Monteith was a leader on the Glee set, that same spirit extended when the cameras cut. 'I remember this one time that he was having people swim in his backyard,' Agron recalled. 'My brother had come down and [Cory] said, 'Oh, you're squinting a lot. Do you not have a pair of sunglasses?' He was like, 'Oh, no, I don't,' and [Cory] took him into his room. He's, like, 'These are all my sunglasses. Just take a pair.' … That's who he was always. It was so amazing to have.' After sharing her memories of Monteith, Agron quipped that she had 'goosebumps on [her] arms.' If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available.
