Sunnybrook Hope Center to receive $12K donation
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Sunnybrook Hope Center will receive more than $12,000 from a local philanthropy group.
The Sunnybrook Hope Center, a non-profit based in Sioux City, will receive a $12,100 donation from a Siouxland philanthropic group on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

100+ Men & Women Who Care will present this donation at the Betty Strong Encounter Center on Tuesday.
The group meets quarterly to select a Siouxland non-profit organization. According to a press release from Dave Madsen, the group has donated more than $420,000 to Siouxland non-profits.

Glen Oaks Boulevard to start construction
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The City of Sioux City Engineering Division announced the start of a new construction project, Glen Oaks Boulevard Paving Project – Tenton Trace to Outer Drive. The plan is to start construction on or around June 16 and be finished in October 2025. According to the press release, 'The project includes the replacement of paving, driveway approaches, sidewalk ramps, and utilities (storm sewer intakes and sanitary sewer manholes) along Glen Oaks Boulevard from Tenton Trace to Outer Drive.' Those stages are one, two, and three, respectively: Tenton Trace to Choctaw Court, Choctaw Court to Aztec Circle, and Aztec Circle to Outer Drive. While the project is being worked on, a detour route will be available using Indian Hills Drive, Cheyenne Boulevard, and Outer Drive. The City will post the specific detours as they become needed. Dinner, dance being held at South Sioux City Senior Center to raise money
SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KCAU) — A dinner and dance is coming to a local senior center Monday evening. The event, which is a fundraiser, is at the South Sioux City Senior Center, and a $10 donation is suggested for entry. All proceeds will be going toward the Senior Center and its resources.
