Man who sent racist social media message to footballer banned from all games
When interviewed by police, Dunbar admitted sending the message because he had lost a bet, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said.
Police said Wreh had come on as a substitute for Tamworth in the game.
When he later checked his Instagram, he found he had received a message from an account he did not know called 'Dunztagram'.
Shocked, he posted a screenshot of the message including the username and then shared it on his social media.
'After an amazing day today, this is the last thing I expected to see when I opened Instagram,' he wrote in the post.
'Nevertheless, thank you for all the support today. Fans were unreal.'
This post was viewed more than 1.7 million times, and Wreh was contacted and sent personal messages by others who identified the account holder as Dunbar, who was living in Hampshire at the time.
Wreh shared this with the dedicated football officer (DFO) for Tamworth at Staffordshire Police, who then passed this on to the UK Football Policing Unit and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary's dedicated Football Unit.
Dunbar, in Whiteley, was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated malicious communications and his phone was seized.
Although the Instagram account had been removed, it was identified that he was the owner of the 'Dunztagram' account'.
In interview he then admitted sending the message because he had lost a bet.
Dunbar was sentenced at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, where he was handed a three-year football banning order, a 12-month community order of 200 hours unpaid work, and 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Superintendent Adrian Hall, head of the operations unit for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, said: 'Just because Christopher Wreh was a footballer, Dunbar decided he had the right to send him a tirade of racist insults.
'Nobody should ever be subjected to such vile and disgusting abuse, regardless of what they do for a living.
'I am absolutely appalled by the racist language used by Dunbar, but immensely thankful to Christopher Wreh for his bravery in standing up to this horrible abuse and assisting the police investigation.
'Thanks to Christopher, this man will not have the privilege of going to football matches and that is an important result from this case, as racism doesn't belong in football stadiums or anywhere else in society.'
The Football Banning Order means Dunbar, of John Bunyan Close, is banned from every football ground in the country and unable to travel abroad when international games are happening for a period of three years.

Labubu doll thieves steal £22,000-worth of plushie dolls as police make horror discovery
Police officers have recovered an eyewatering £22,000 worth of stolen Labubus, as concerns rise over opportunistic thieves looking for ways to snatch the coveted plushies The Labubu doll frenzy has sparked a terrifying rise in robberies as thieves attempt to cash in on the viral plushie trend. Police in California have recovered an astonishing $30,000 (£22,000) stash of the sharp-toothed plushies, after they were stolen from a warehouse. In a statement issued on Monday, the City of Chino Police Department revealed that the popular dolls had been taken over the course of several days, with thieves having made "multiple trips". After recovering fourteen boxes of stolen Labubus at a Upland residence, police also found "evidence indicating the items were being prepared for resale and shipment across the country". One suspect attempted to flee after the search warrant was served but "ultimately surrendered without incident". Applauding the efforts made by detectives in this case, police said: "The recovered property, valued at approximately $30,000, was returned to the rightful owners. Outstanding teamwork in bringing this case to a close!" Labubu collectables are highly sought after following a viral online frenzy over the trendy toys earlier this year. They often sell out after each release, meaning fans will fork out dizzying sums for rare dolls. And this lucrative market is enticing criminals to steal the figurines. This is not the only incident in recent weeks where boxes of the famous plushies have been snatched, to the devastation of business owners. At approximately 1:30 am, in the early hours of Wednesday, August 6, masked bandits broke into Californian toy shop, One Stop Sales and looted a number of Labubus, reportedly ignoring cash and electronic goods as they did so. CCTV footage shows the crooks smashing the glass door of the La Puento store, which only opened a couple of months ago, before snatching thousands of dollars' worth of Labubus. Co-owner Joanna Avendano believes the store could well have been targeted after a restock was announced on social media. Discussing the shocking blow with ABC, Joanna recalled how she'd had a "gut feeling" to check surveillance footage via her phone. When she did, she was horrified. Joanna remembered: "I was watching everything, from when they got in, what they were taking. I was panicking because I was just ... I couldn't do anything." She added: "There was a lot taken, maybe like around $30,000 or more of inventory. We worked so hard to get to this point, and for them to just come in and, like nothing, take it all away, it's really bad." Thankfully, police have since recovered some of the stolen items. A snap shared via Instagram by One Stop Sales shows Industry Sheriff's Station officers posing next to the retrieved dolls. The post reads: "Thank you to the Industry Sheriff's Department for helping us recover some of our items. The case is still under investigation. Right now, no further comment.

Liverpool vs Bournemouth preview, team news and predicted lineup
Premier League holders Liverpool welcome Bournemouth in the new season's curtain raiser at Anfield as the Reds look to start their title defence strongly The Premier League season kicks off with holders Liverpool welcoming Bournemouth to Anfield on Friday night. The Reds will be looking move on from their Community Shield disappointment while the Cherries will be eager to test themselves against this season's favourites. Arne Slot got off to a superb start to life in Liverpool when he secured the club's 20th league title in their history last season at the first attempt since taking over from Jurgen Klopp last summer. Now the Dutch manager will be looking to add more silverware having lost to PSG in the Champions League, suffered a huge cupset at Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup and losing to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final last season too. The Reds have invested heavily this summer with the arrivals of Florian Wirtz for a record-breaking transfer fee alongside fellow Bayer Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong as well as Hugo Ekitke and Milos Kerkez to bolster the team's squad depth. The main question mark still remains in Liverpool's team will be who will spearhead the hosts attacking line-up as Alexander Isak's proposed transfer to Merseyside continues to be speculated ahead of the new season. Liverpool vs Bournemouth Ryan Gravenberch will have to wait another week to kick off his league campaign. The Dutch midfielder, who missed the Community Shield after the birth of his child, is suspended following his red card against Crystal Palace on the final day of last season. He could be one of up to three absentees for the hosts. Joe Gomez is almost certain to miss out as he continues to manage an Achilles issue, while Conor Bradley has a muscular problem and remains a doubt. Those uncertainties push selection focus onto midfield and full back. Curtis Jones stepped in at Wembley and produced a spotless passing display, completing 53 out of 53 passes to set a Community Shield benchmark. Even so, with fitness restored, Alexis Mac Allister is expected to operate at the base of midfield, offering control on the ball and bite without it. Andoni Iraola's side also have a busy treatment room. Enes Unal and Lewis Cook are working back from knee injuries. Ryan Christie (groin), Luis Sinisterra (thigh) and Justin Kluivert (calf) are at different stages of recovery. Sinisterra is trending towards involvement on Friday, Cook is due to rejoin team training but is not guaranteed to feature, and Kluivert is highly unlikely to play due to unforeseen "issues" with his rehabilitation. There is better news for the Cherries in attack. Antoine Semenyo, fresh from signing a new contract, is available and offers direct running and pressing from the front. Between the posts, former Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic is set for his Premier League bow in Bournemouth colours. Liverpool vs Bournemouth Liverpool: Alisson; Frimpong, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez; Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike Liverpool vs Bournemouth Betting Offer If you are on the lookout for the latest free bet offers, then look no further.
