Scotch-Brite Teams Up With Ally Love To Announce 'National Shine Brite Day'
Originally published on 3M News Center
ST. PAUL, Minn., June 27, 2025 /3BL/ -- Scotch-Brite™, America's #1-selling scrub sponge brand, introduces National Shine Brite Day, a yearly celebration that invites people everywhere to see cleaning in a new light – shifting the mindset from a task on a to-do list into a way to express yourself, refresh your space and feel good doing it.
National Shine Brite Day is part of the brand's " Brite Side of Clean " campaign, which launched earlier this spring to usher in a fresh era of cleaning, one that centers on joy, self-expression and the satisfaction of a job well done. Featuring an energetic 30-second spot set to Outkast's iconic early-2000s anthem 'So Fresh, So Clean,' the campaign invites everyone to dance through their chores and transform cleaning from a task into a powerful act of self-expression and positivity.
To help kick off the celebration, Scotch-Brite has teamed up with Ally Love, Peloton Instructor, VP of instructor strategy and development, and on-air Today show contributor, as a Clean Partner. Known for her energy, motivation and love of movement, Ally is inspiring people to reframe their routines by pairing cleaning with music, dance and the kind of positive vibes that turn even the smallest tasks into mini celebrations.
'Cleaning is part of my daily routine – not just to reset my space; it's an act of mindfulness, movement and joy,' said Love. 'My process starts with my favorite playlist - it keeps the energy up and makes the experience more enjoyable and fun. I love seeing the physical transformation from messy to clean – it's a visual affirmation that my actions matter, that small acts have big impact. National Shine Brite Day is a reminder that cleaning is more than a task, it's an opportunity to celebrate the creativity and pride that comes with a clean and refreshed space.'
June 26 holds a special significance for the brand as it marks the anniversary of Scotch-Brite's first appearance on shelves in 1958. Nearly seven decades later, the brand continues to be a pioneer in the cleaning category with innovative solutions that brighten homes and lives.
'National Shine Brite Day is about more than creating a clean space – it's about choosing to find joy in the process,' says Joe Paul, chief marketing officer, 3M Consumer Business Group. 'Scotch-Brite is committed to providing consumers with creative, sensorial solutions to cleaning – for every day and every mess.'
Whether it's the satisfaction of a dramatic before-and-after, the thrill of discovering a clever cleaning hack, or the joy of dancing your way through chores - Scotch-Brite believes cleaning should feel good. The brand encourages everyone to find the sparkle, share the fun and help others see the 'brite side' too!

Siri Daly has fans cracking up at her latest jingle about the long school year
Siri Daly is so over it that she's over being over it. The 44-year-old blogger, who shares four kids — son Jackson, 16, and daughters Etta, 12, London, 10, and Goldie, 5 — with husband Carson Daly, has just about had it with the 2024-25 school year. And she wasn't afraid to sing about it on social media. 'My kids are still in school and it's July next week,' she sings in her June 24 post on Instagram. 'And it's 100 degrees, and you're probably at the beach. But my kids are still in school.' Siri Daly then goes off about having to still make lunches for her kids. 'I wanna punch the lunchbox in the face, but it doesn't have a face … Cause my kids are still in school,' she sings. 'And I'm over it — and I'm over being over it,' she continues while waving her finger in the air. She ends the song by saying she's 'going crazy' because her 'kids are still in school' before holding the last note for an impressive amount of time. Fans, followers and fellow parents took to the comment section to share their sympathy — and confusion. 'My gosh when does your kids school end for the season?' one parent commented. 'I don't have kids in school any longer but I would feel your pain if I did.' 'Midwest kids were finished May 15! Crazy yours are still at school,' another parent added. 'I'm obsessed with you!' wrote 'Today' show host Jenna Bush Hager. 'I wanna get you a lunchbox with a face so you can punch it! You are not aloooooone!' a third follower joked. Some commenters praised her for the way she held the last note, while others implied that she will be singing a different tune once her kids are finally set free for the summer. Siri Daly's song about her kids being in school is the latest in the blogger's ongoing series of jingles. On April 29, the 'Siriously Delicious' creator sang about not wanting to spend money on skin products when she gets a facial — just for her to go back on her advice. 'Do your facial and GET OUT,' she tells herself through song. 'Then I do my facial and she says, 'You know what would be good for your face?' and I say, 'I'll take three of them!'' 'Here's my credit card. Just charge me for whatever you think my face needs,' she continues in the song. On Dec. 17, Siri Daly had everyone cracking up with her relatable holiday jingle. 'There are eight more days 'til Christmas. And our tree already died,' she sang. 'And we dragged it outside in a fit of rageful fury. And there were pine needles — everywhere.' She also sang about not being done with Christmas shopping — despite being a week away from the big day. 'Because in October when there are deals I think, 'Hey, Siri, buy that now,'' she sings. 'But something in my brain doesn't let me. Because I know that I'd rather wait and feel stressed out.' Siri Daly met her future husband when she was working as a writer's assistant on 'Last Call with Carson Daly,' which was broadcast by NBC from 2002 to 2019. The couple started dating in 2005, according to People, and welcomed their first child, Jackson, in 2009. The next few years were busy for the pair. They welcomed their first daughter, Etta, in 2012, got engaged in 2013, welcomed their second daughter, London, in 2014, and tied the knot in 2015. The couple's fourth child, daughter Goldie Patricia, was born five years later in 2020.
