Loose Women star clashes with co-star after cheating confession

Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards got into a disagreement during Monday's Loose Women as they discussed the alleged affair exposed at a Coldplay gig.
Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards got into a heated disagreement during Monday's episode of Loose Women.

The broadcast legend, 78, was back in her usual slot as a panellist on ITV's lunchtime chat show and along with anchor Charlene White and co-star Katie Piper, she and X Factor' s Brenda Edwards were discussing the recent incident that saw a cheating couple exposed on cam. The clip saw Coldplay's Chris Martin turn a camera on the audience at his gig, showing a number of fans on the arena's kiss cam. The CEO of Astronomer, Andy Byron, and his HR Chief, Kristin Cabot, were spotted embracing each other at the band's concert in Boston, Massachusetts in a clip that has since gone viral across the globe.

After the married CEO resigned from the company and the company claimed that their standards had "not been met" by his actions, Brenda argued that he was "right to step down" simply because his trust was brought into question, but Janet demanded to know why having an affair would deem him unsuitable to run a company. Brenda admitted that she had met her ex-husband through work but claimed that the exposition of the alleged affair was all his own doing because he was in a public place.
Brenda ranted: "They were listening to Coldplay music and swaying, and both of them ducked. Why do ducking?" and when Katie tried to reason that care should be taken because there are children involved, Brenda laughed and insisted that should have been a consideration beforehand. Former newspaper editor Janet claimed that most of the places she has worked, the men in charge have conducted extramarital affairs with colleagues and while she refused to name any names, insisted that it goes on "all the time" in the workplace.

Janet, who has been married four times but has also been open about her own infidelity, added: "I find it extraordinary that companies have a moral code, because I don't actually care" and explained that the whole story has actually become a positive thing because it has boosted Astronomer's profile. When Brenda Janet added: "As someone who has had affairs, I would not be that judgemental. To me, I think it could be entirely innocent"
However, Brenda could not see Janet's point of view and she exploded: "Innocent?!" as she began to shout over her co-star and made her disapproval of the whole situation known. Katie tried to reason that perhaps they just didn't want to be seen as the kiss cam, but Brenda continued to argue her point until host Charlene had to bring the topic to a close.
After a poll revealed that 83 percent of viewers had "no sympathy" for the couple, Brenda confirmed that she felt sorry for the former CEO's wife, and Janet rang in the end of the topic by referencing Matt Hancock's infamous affair with aide Gina Coladangelo during his time as health secretary.

But Brenda's ranting did not go unnoticed by Loose Women viewers, and they flooded social media with their reaction to the debate. One wrote: "Calm the f*** down, Brenda! And what about the woman involved, hmm? Proper aggressive behaviour on display", whilst another said: "Brenda needs anger management therapy".
A concerned viewer said: "Being serious now, I really think Brenda needs some help, she is on the edge and really stressed, not normal behaviour," whilst another begged: "Would someone please tell Brenda to stop shouting? She seems aggrieved about every single thing!"
In the original viral video, the business mogul was seemingly oblivious to all but the music as he embraced his Head of HR from behind, moving in sync with the band's live performance. Yet, as soon as they realised they were up on the big screen, they abruptly let go, and quickly tried to duck out of the spotlight... but it was too late.

Chris Martin, after spotting them on the big screen, said: "Oh look at these two. Either they are having an affair or they're just really shy." A concertgoer, apparently sat behind the pair, caught a video of Coldplay singing their hit song Yellow. A sea of yellow lights, from people's wristbands, can be seen, but a loved-up pair were also caught in the shot, according to TMZ.
The pair, thought to be Byron and Cabot, can be seen with their arms around each other, and at one moment the man leans in for a smooch on the lips. This new angle appears to have captured a new level of intimacy between the colleagues, not on display for the whole stadium to see. In the original viral video, a lipreader claimed the tech boss said "F***ing hell, it's me", when their faces showed up on the big screen. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, lipreader Judi said: "Perhaps the worst thing about their body language here is that they made themselves into human catnip for social media by reacting so violently rather than just trying to style it out."
What's more, Grace Springer, the woman who p osted the original clip has since spoken out and claimed that she "didn't think much of it" in the momen t. Appearing on This Morning, she said: "So in the moment when I filmed it, I didn't think much of it but everyone was chattering. There was over 50,000 people at the concert. It wasn't until after the concert when I was debriefing the moment with my friends. We reviewed the footage to see if it really looked that bad and it really does."
When asked by Dermot whether she felt guilty about posting the video, she said: "I definitely feel for Andy's wife Megan and his family and everyone else who has been hurt in the process."

New images show brazen behavior of Coldplay concert couple before Chris Martin caught them in the act

A new video has surfaced showing ousted tech CEO Andy Byron getting cozy with his HR chief Kristin Cabot at last week's Coldplay concert just moments before the band's kiss cam caught them red–handed. Byron, who resigned just days ago amidst a swirling scandal, is seen with his arm around Cabot, swaying to the music at Boston's Gillette Stadium. The footage was unearthed by concertgoers actively searching for more incriminating evidence involving the alleged couple, who were seated prominently in the front row of the mezzanine. Images show them stood up next to other seated patrons, with Byron pressed close behind Cabot. The pair's open display of affection, directly in the line of sight of Chris Martin and his bandmates, took a sharp turn when the kiss cam focused on them. Their initial smiles quickly morphed into panic as they attempted to hide their faces and sink out of view. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin quipped, 'Oh what… either they're having an affair or they're very shy.' Byron, seeing himself on the big screen, appeared to mutter, 'F****** hell, it's me.' The awkward moment elicited roaring laughter from the 55,000–strong crowd and has since garnered millions of views online. Both Byron and Cabot, employees of the over $1.3 billion tech company Astronomer, were immediately placed on leave following the incident, which ultimately led to Byron's public resignation. Astronomer announced Byron's resignation in a statement on Saturday. 'Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted.' Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy will stay on as interim CEO. 'While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not. We're continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data and AI problems.' Astronomer acknowledged the awkward situation in the statement announcing Byron's resignation. 'Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI,' the statement read. 'While awareness of our company may have changed over night our product and our work for our customers have not.' Public records suggest both Byron and Cabot are married. The new CEO of Astronomer issued a statement announcing his official role on Monday, as he appeared to suggest he's thrilled about the awkward Coldplay concert cuddling scandal that landed him the job. Pete DeJoy took to LinkedIn to announce his new and now official role. 'The spotlight has been unusual and surreal for our team and, while I would never have wished for it to happen like this, Astronomer is now a household name,' he wrote. 'I'm stepping into this role with a wholehearted commitment to taking care of our people and delivering for our customers. 'Astronomer's foundation remains strong, built around the thriving Apache Airflow community,' he went on, adding that the company 'won't let you down'. Byron is married to wife Megan Byron, according to public records. She removed her husband's last name from her social media profiles shortly before the viral moment exploded. The 50-year-old fled the couple's $1.4million home in Northborough, Massachusetts, and has been trying to keep a low profile at their $2.4million luxury property in Kennebunk, 106 miles away. Cabot meanwhile is married to Andrew Cabot, who is a direct descendent of one of the original Boston Brahmin families. The term 'Boston Brahmin' refers to the historic aristocracy in Boston, dating back to the the earliest English colonists. These ultra-wealthy families held significant social, political and cultural influence from the 18th century onward. Andrew is chief executive of Privateer Rum, a Massachusetts-based booze maker. He is also heir to his family's $15.4 billion fortune.

Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Alice Cooper honour Ozzy Osbourne during concerts

The death of the music star, who fronted heavy metal band Black Sabbath, was announced in a statement to the PA news agency saying he was 'with his family and surrounded by love'. His Black Sabbath band mates – Terence 'Geezer' Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward – led tributes to Osbourne alongside fans from his home city of Birmingham and celebrity friends including Kiss star Gene Simmons and Queen guitarist Sir Brian May. His death at the age of 76 comes just weeks after Osbourne took to the stage for a farewell concert at Villa Park in Birmingham – a stone's throw from where the band was formed in 1968. The Back to the Beginning concert featured performances from Anthrax, Metallica and Guns N' Roses, with Osbourne's Black Sabbath bandmates the last to appear on stage. Lady Gaga Lady Gaga paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, wearing a t-shirt and playing his debut solo single Crazy Train (Ian West/PA) US pop star Lady Gaga took to the stage in an Ozzy Osbourne t-shirt as she ended her first Mayhem Ball show in San Francisco on Tuesday. 'We'll miss you Ozzy', she said, as Osbourne's song Crazy Train played in the background. Crazy Train was released in 1980 as Osbourne's debut solo single, which featured on his debut solo album, Blizzard Of Ozz. The Bad Romance singer, 39, is currently touring her latest studio album, Mayhem, across the US and Canada. Coldplay Chris Martin performed a rendition of Black Sabbath's Changes during a show at Nashville in tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne (Aaron Chown/PA) During a concert in Nashville, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin led a rendition of Changes by Black Sabbath in tribute to the heavy metal star. 'Okay Ozzy we love you, wherever you're going, thank you for everything', he said after playing the tune on a piano. The song was originally released in 1972 as part of the Vol4 Black Sabbath album, and was re-released in 2003 as a duet with Osbourne's daughter, Kelly, containing revised lyrics. Singer Yungblud, who has hailed Osbourne as 'the greatest of all time', played the song during his farewell concert on July 5. Alice Cooper US rockstar Alice Cooper described Osbourne as an 'unmatched showman and cultural icon' in a social media post that said the band had found out about his death 'minutes before going on stage in Cardiff, Wales'. Cooper and his band dedicated the show to Osbourne and posted a clip of them shouting 'Ozzy' before going onto the stage. Following the show, Cooper summed up his thoughts and said: 'The whole world is mourning Ozzy tonight. Over his long career, he earned immense respect among his peers and from fans around the world as an unmatched showman and cultural icon. 'I always saw Ozzy as a cross between the prince of darkness, which is the persona his fans saw, and the court jester. That was the side that his family and friends saw. 'He was and will continue to be a rock n roll legend. Rock n Roll is a family and a fraternity. When we lose one of our own it bleeds. I wish I would have gotten to know my brother Ozzy better. 'Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and the rest of the Ozzy brood – our prayers are with you tonight. A titanic boulder has crashed, but rock will roll on.' Ghost Swedish rock band Ghost dedicated their New York show at Madison Square Garden to Osbourne. In a video posted to social media, frontman Tobias Forge said: 'We're going to dedicate tonight's show to the memory of the life and laughter of Ozzy Osbourne. 'For being the Prince of Darkness, he sure gave us a lot of light. So we're going to tap into that tonight and take it forward.'
