Black Panther 3: Angela Bassett on if Queen Ramonda Will Be Resurrected
Actress Angela Bassett, who has portrayed Ramonda in multiple entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, reflected on how her character could return in Black Panther 3 during a new interview. Notably, Ramonda, who became the sovereign of Wakanda following the death of her son T'Challa, was killed herself when Tenoch Huerta Mejía's Namor attacked her country in 2022's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Bassett has expressed interest in returning as Ramonda in Black Panther 3 and speculated on how her character could appear despite being killed in the previous movie. During her appearance on Good Morning America, the hosts asked her about her latest feature, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, and brought up how her Black Panther co-star, Michael B. Jordan, made an appearance at the premiere to support her.
One Good Morning America host observed, 'We're talking about 'Mission: Impossible.' It was thrilling…Michael B. Jordan was there, supporting you,' before adding, 'And of course, a lot of people are like, 'Oh my goodness,' talking about Wakanda. Another movie, perhaps a third one.'
'That would be wonderful,' Bassett said in response. She later hypothesized that the character could appear in Black Panther 3 in a scene involving the Ancestral Plane. She said, 'I could be there. You know? It could happen. I would, absolutely.'
In the MCU, the Ancestral Plane is an astral dimension where people of Wakanda go after their death. Previously, Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa interacted with his dead father in the Ancestral Plane in Black Panther. A similar encounter happened between Letitia Wright's Shuri and Jordan's Killmonger in Wakanda Forever. Accordingly, it could potentially be how Bassett reprises her role.
Notably, Bassett received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Ramonda in Wakanda Forever.
During the above-mentioned interview, when another host said that 'we all' wanted Bassett to appear in Black Panther 3, the actress agreed. 'We do. Everyone wants it to happen,' she said.
As per reports, the third Black Panther movie could come out in 2028.

EA Looking to Shut Down Long-Running Studio
It seems isn't done closing down some of its studios. A new report suggests the long-running racing developer may be next on the chopping block. Video game insider eXtas1s recently claimed the developer of games like Grid, Colin McRae Rally, Dirt, and most recently F1 25, will shut its doors. Those impacted will be put on the next F1 game or a new Need for Speed game currently in development. Additionally, the insider learned that there are about 400 'more' layoffs at EA. 'The cancellation of Black Panther will NOT be the only thing,' said eXtas1s. 'I have been able to learn that there are about 400 more layoffs coming up at EA, a total CLOSURE of the main headquarters of Codemasters and that these developers will be integrated into EA Sp (F1) and a new Need For Speed that is already in development.' EA recently closed Cliffhanger Games and cancelled its Black Panther game. According to an email from EA Entertainment president Laura Miele, this decision was to 'sharpen our focus and put our creative energy behind the most significant growth opportunities.' 'These decisions are hard,' Miele wrote. 'They affect people we've worked with, learned from, and shared real moments with. We're doing everything we can to support them — including finding opportunities within EA, where we've had success helping people land in new roles.' The status of Codemasters has been up in the air since EA paused development on future World Rally Championship titles. Around that announcement, the official Codemasters X account was pulled. While all signs are pointing to Codemasters getting shut down, EA has yet to officially confirm the closure. Felicity Huffman Shares Her Thoughts On 'Desperate Housewives' Reboot
Felicity Huffman took a stroll down Wisteria Lane — at least in spirit — by weighing in on the upcoming 'Desperate Housewives' reboot. Long before Bravo's housewives were flipping tables and stealing spotlights, Huffman and her band of perfectly imperfect suburbanites hit the ground running in 2004 on ABC, redefining what it meant to live behind a white picket fence. Now, years later, 'Scandal' star Kerry Washington will executive produce an upcoming revival, 'Wisteria Lane.' Washington's involvement sparked discussion on Wednesday's episode of 'Good Morning America' when Huffman was asked to share her thoughts. 'Can I ask you about 'Desperate Housewives?'' co-host Robin Roberts eagerly asked, noting the buzz surrounding the new take on the beloved drama. 'Isn't that great,' Huffman said almost instantaneously. 'They're going to do Wisteria Lane with women of color — and I am all for it.' After voicing her support, Huffman joked that she 'will be doing craft services for the project.' In case there were still any doubts about her enthusiasm, Huffman doubled down with a heartfelt nod to Washington. 'I just think it's wonderful, and I'm a huge fan of Kerry's,' she added. Co-host Michael Strahan followed up, asking who she thought might take her former role. 'Oh my God, I have no idea. I think a lot of people could do it better than I did,' Huffman said modestly. 'I can't wait to see it.'
