Joe Biden Is Heard Rambling Nonsensically In Disturbing Leaked Audio Of Special Counsel Interview

Gulf Insider17-05-2025

A segment of former President Joe Biden's October 2023 interview with special counsel Robert Hur just dropped, and boy is it rough.
Biden couldn't remember details such as when his son Beau died, when he left office as vice president, what year Donald Trump was elected, and why he had classified documents in his possession that he shouldn't have had.
According to Axios , which released the recording, Biden frequently slurred words or muttered, and 'appears to validate Hur's assertion that jurors in a trial likely would have viewed Biden as 'a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.'
Listen:
Hur elected not to prosecute Biden for mishandling classified documents based partly on the former president's pea-soup brain – angering Republicans as Trump was facing his own charges of mishandling classified information.
It's also of course notable because the MSM insisted Biden was 'sharp,' and slammed Hur's assertions as politically motivated.
Tapper says here that the footage of Biden freezing on stage was not a "Cheap fake". Exact words.Okay so when he does he pull Brian Stelter on his show and ask him why he called it that, echoing the White house? When does the media pull Karine Jean-Pierre out of hiding and ask… https://t.co/D0JaXwKv65 — Stephen L. Miller (@redsteeze) May 16, 2025
The audio was from two three-hour sessions on Oct. 8 and 9, 2023 – which the Biden White House refused to release, arguing that they were protected 'law enforcement materials,' and that Republicans only sought to 'chop them up, distort them, and use them for partisan political purposes.'
Let's go to the tape…

How long did Axios have this recording? Before the election?

Most US Abrams Tanks in Ukraine Destroyed

Russian media outlet RIA Novosti has cited a study which says the majority of the 31 US-supplied M1 Abrams tanks delivered to Ukraine have been destroyed. The tanks, which were authorized for transfer under President Biden, have all been destroyed or damaged with the exception of a mere five. These remaining tanks were then reportedly pulled from the front lines given Ukrainian commanders' fears they are too vulnerable to superior Russian airpower. The claim that 26 have been destroyed since they entered the battlefield seems plausible, and consistent with an April 2024 Associated Press report which confirmed at the time, 'Ukraine has sidelined U.S.-provided Abrams M1A1 battle tanks for now in its fight against Russia, in part because Russian drone warfare has made it too difficult for them to operate without detection or coming under attack,' citing two US military officials. And here's what a Ukraine war monitor published in December 2024: Ukraine has lost at least 17 Abrams, according to the Oryx open-source tracking group. Of those, at least eight were destroyed, one damaged, seven damaged and abandoned and one captured. The actual figures are likely higher in reality because Oryx only tabulates losses for which it has visual confirmation. Given that a year-and-a-half has passed since that prior report, it is certainly easy to consider that at least nine more tanks were disabled or destroyed in that time period. War-related social media posts have circulated several videos which purport to show Abrams tanks being targeted from the air and blown up… Russian telegram channels posted videos of fiber optic cable FPV strikes on a Ukrainian Abrams tank in Kursk oblast last week. Aside from a concussion, the crew survived without injury and made it back to friendly lines. @KofmanMichael and I spoke to the commander of the tank… — Rob Lee (@RALee85) December 19, 2024 According to Russia's RT and the defense ministry, Ukraine lost two of the Abrams tanks as recently as last week. 'Last week, Russia's Defense Ministry reported that two Ukrainian Abrams tanks had been seized during an operation in Ukraine's Sumy Region,' RT wrote. 'The Defense Ministry released a video showing Russian troops recovering the vehicles, which appeared to be intact,' the report continued. 'The tanks were reportedly towed to the rear by the 22nd Motor Rifle Regiment after reconnaissance teams secured the area.' Both President Biden at the time (in 2023) as well as much of the American media hailed that the Abrams tanks for Ukraine program (which involved training operators) would be a 'game-changer'. But it perhaps in the end proved embarrassing for the Pentagon. Also read: Man Who Flew 120 Times For Free By Posing As Flight Attendant Convicted Of Fraud

Musk regrets some of his Trump criticisms

Elon Musk, the world's richest person and Donald Trump's former advisor, said yesterday he regretted some of his recent criticisms of the US president, after the pair's public falling- out last week. 'I regret some of my posts about President@realDonald Trump last week. They went too far,' Musk wrote on his social media platform X. Musk's expression of regret came just days after Trump threatened the tech billionaire with 'serious consequences' if he sought to punish Republicans who vote for a controversial spending bill. Their blistering break-up -- largely carried out on social media before a riveted public since Thursday last week -- was ignited by Musk's harsh criticism of Trump's so-called 'big, beautiful' spending bill, which is currently before Congress. Some lawmakers who were against the bill had called on Musk -- one of the Republican Party's biggest financial backers in last year's presidential election -- to fund primary challenges against Republicans who voted for the legislation. 'He'll have to pay very serious consequences if he does that,' Trump, who also branded Musk 'disrespectful,' told NBC News on Saturday, without specifying what those consequences would be. Trump also said he had 'no' desire to repair his relationship with the South African-born Tesla and SpaceX chief, and that he has 'no intention of speaking to him.' In his post on Wednesday, Musk did not specify which of his criticisms of Trump had gone 'too far.' 'Wish him well' The former allies had seemed to have cut ties amicably about two weeks ago, with Trump giving Musk a glowing send-off as he left his cost-cutting role at the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). But their relationship cracked within days as Musk described the spending bill as an 'abomination' that, if passed by Congress, could define Trump's second term in office. Trump hit back at Musk's comments in an Oval Office diatribe and from there the row detonated, leaving Washington stunned. 'Look, Elon and I had a great relationship. I don't know if we will anymore. I was surprised,' Trump told reporters. Musk, who was Trump's biggest donor to his 2024 campaign, also raised the issue of the Republican's election win. 'Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate,' he posted, adding: 'Such ingratitude.' Trump later said on his Truth Social platform that cutting billions of dollars in subsidies and contracts to Musk's companies would be the 'easiest way' to save the US government money. US media have put the value of the contracts at $18 billion. With real political and economic risks to their falling out, both appeared to inch back from the brink on Friday, with Trump telling reporters 'I just wish him well,' and Musk responding on X: 'Likewise.'
