Andy Carroll 'DUMPS' Lou Teasdale after police questioned him over boozy rows in Greece as he unfollows her and tells pals he's 'sick' of her demands

Andy Carroll has reportedly dumped his girlfriend Lou Teasdale following a string of heated rows. It comes just two months after it was reported that the former Premier League striker, 36, was questioned twice by Greek police over a series of bust-ups with Lou, 41, while the pair holidayed in Mykonos, Greece. The pair, who were together for just over a year, have now unfollowed each other on social media and Andy has wiped all trace of Lou from his Instagram. A source told The Sun: 'Andy got sick of Lou's demands and her influencer lifestyle. 'She's always posting on social media and he hates that. He told her it was over this week. He's single now.' The father-of-five returned to the UK with Dagenham & Redbridge last month after a two-year spell in France. The insider added: 'It's been a tough time and now he's back in the UK, he just wants to focus on football and his kids. 'He hates the influencer lifestyle. He has no interest in posing for loved-up pics.' Daily Mail has approached Andy and Lou's representatives for comment. The couple's last public outing was at an Oasis gig at the end of July, where they packed on the PDA, proving they were still together. The date night came after the ex footballer was interrogated about the arguments with his make-up artist lover in a restaurant and at their hotel on the Greek party island, The Sun on Sunday reports. Speaking about the first incident, a worker at the Nikolus Tavern told the newspaper: 'He seemed very drunk and furious with his partner. 'He was using very bad words. It was improper behaviour. The woman looked very upset.' According to the restaurant worker, police arrived and took the ex-Liverpool, Newcastle United and England striker aside for a chat, before he was later allowed back to girlfriend Lou. 'Police spoke to him. He was allowed to return, and the couple left after paying for their meal. Andy was very calm when the police arrived — he stood up and spoke to them outside the restaurant', the restaurant worker added. Just hours later, cops were called again by hotel staff following reports of damage in their room. Daily Mail understands that the former England forward - once Britain's most expensive Premier League footballer when bought by Liverpool from Newcastle for £35million - was taken to the police station for questioning, but he was not arrested and no further action was taken. The incident was confirmed by a hotel employee, who claimed Carroll broke the door. That night, Lou left the hotel and spent the night at Soho Roc House. A joint statement from the couple given to The Sun said: 'Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion. It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there. 'We went outside the restaurant with them together as they insisted they wanted to 'look after' us. 'As far as we are concerned, the situation has been blown out of all proportion by an interested member of the public. No one was arrested and no one was charged with anything. We are very happy, in love and looking forward to our future together and we are disappointed that a private disagreement has become a public matter.' The pair began dating last year after he separated from his TOWIE star wife Billi Mucklow last September. Carroll and Mucklow called it quits divorce after two years of turbulent marriage, the footballer confirmed last year. In 2022, their wedding was almost called off when Carroll was pictured drunkenly passed out in bed with two women in Dubai on his stag do. Mucklow forgave him after one of the women insisted nothing sexual happened. Less than two years after their nuptials, the couple's marriage was over - with Carroll confirming they had started divorce proceedings after 'a hard few months for our family'. Carroll said in a statement at the time: 'Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings'. 'It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children.' Carroll and Mucklow have three children together Arlo, Wolf, and Marvel Mae and she also raises his two children Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14 from his past relationship.

Villarreal president defiantly responds to backlash over Thomas Partey signing - and urges fans not to 'judge prematurely' as former Arsenal star faces multiple rape charges

Villarreal's president has responded to the heavy criticism his club has faced since signing former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey amid his ongoing rape charges. Partey, 32, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court last week to face multiple rape charges, including five counts of rape and one of sexual assault, before being granted bail. The midfielder is accused of two counts of rape against one woman and three counts against another. The sexual assault allegation relates to a third woman, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said last week. The charges came just four days after Partey's contract at the Emirates expired on June 31. After being granted bail, the Ghanaian was able to complete his free transfer to Villarreal, who have since been the subject of significant controversy as a result of the move. Partey was booed and whistled during the Yellow Submarines' preseason friendly against Aston Villa over the weekend, which marked his first appearance in a Villarreal jersey. President Fernando Roig has issued a defiant response in answer to criticism of the signing Club president Fernando Roig has issued a defiant response in answer to the criticism, insisting that the club 'upholds the presumption of innocence'. 'The player is currently undergoing legal proceedings. He maintains his innocence and denies the charges against him,' Roig said after the 2-0 defeat by Villa. 'The club upholds the presumption of innocence, and it will be the responsibility of the English courts to clarify the facts. We have spent years demonstrating our values with all kinds of activities. 'We respect the presumption of innocence and, of course, condemn any type of violence, whether inside or outside of football. 'At this moment, Partey is as innocent as the rest of us here. A fundamental right like this must be respected.' When asked about the boos directed towards his new player, Roig added: 'The English [Aston Villa fans] whistled Partey. Not the Villarreal fans. 'I wouldn't like our own fans to whistle at players on our team. We must stand with the team and respect the presumption of innocence. He is not a convicted player. 'We must be cautious and wait for justice. Let's not judge prematurely. Thomas has the right to do his job until there is a conviction.' Partey, who will defend himself in court in London next month, is prohibited from contact any of the three women involved in the case, as per the bail conditions. Meanwhile, Arsenal have also come under fire in the wake of Partey's rape charges. Protesters who turned up to last week's hearing held up a sign criticising Arsenal's alleged handling of the case, which read: 'Arsenal said: "We do the right thing". Then did nothing.'

Alcaraz secures 50th win of 2025 at Cincinnati Open

Carlos Alcaraz says for half the matches of the tennis season, players "don't feel that good" as the Spaniard secured a tour-leading 50th victory of 2025 at the Cincinnati Open. The 22-year-old cruised past Serbian Hamad Medjedovic in straight sets 6-4 6-4 in the third round to also claim his 13th consecutive Masters 1000 win. Alcaraz is the first player since 24-time major champion Novak Djokovic, from 2013 to 2016, to reach 50 wins in four consecutive world number two will face Italian Luca Nardi in the fourth round on Wednesday. "You have to think positive and just play your best tennis possible that day," said the five-time Grand Slam winner. "I'm really happy that in really difficult matches I'm able to play my best tennis even though I'm not feeling the right way."I'm just happy and proud about it because it's something I'm working on."Lucky loser Nardi, 22, led 16th seed Jakub Mensik 6-2 2-1 when the Czech retired from their third-round match. The first set between Medjedovic and Alcaraz was tight in the sweltering Ohio conditions but the Spaniard got the break for 4-3 before sealing the opener. Medjedovic then received treatment from the physio for neck pain. Medjedovic, who is also 22, had a chance in the second set to take the lead at 3-3, but his attempt at two drop shots both hit the net. Alcaraz edged ahead to take a 4-3 advantage once again, and he wrapped up victory soon after. Alcaraz has won seven ATP Masters 1000 trophies in his career, including the Monte Carlo and Rome titles this year. He also successfully defended his French Open title by beating world number one Jannik Sinner in an extraordinary final at Roland Garros in June, before Italian Sinner defeated him in the Wimbledon final a month later. Following the tournament in Cincinnati, Alcaraz heads to New York for the last Grand Slam of the campaign, the US Open, which begins on 24 August. Players have been struggling with the heat during this week's tournament, with temperatures regularly exceeding Comesana and Reilly Opelka both took medical timeouts during their third-round match, which was also interrupted for 45 minutes by rain. Argentine Comesana won 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 7-5, saving three match points, but he needed medical attention in the second set, with a ball girl rushing to hand the 24-year-old a sick bag as he made his way gingerly back to his seat. American Opelka, 27, also called for the doctor in the final set, complaining of dizziness and high blood pressure after being broken for 5-6.
