James Gunn Unveils ‘Peacemaker' Season 2 Theme Song As Foxy Shazam's ‘Oh Lord'
Following James Gunn's panel at San Diego Comic-Con previewing the sophomore installment — at the famed Hall H and prime Saturday evening spot of the weekend — the Superman helmer took to the stage at Peacefest to share additional news.

'I am here to reveal right now — it is a song from my favorite band in the world that is objectively the greatest rock 'n' roll band in the world, Foxy Shazam, here they are. They're gonna perform it for you guys — 'Oh Lord' — come on guys!' the DC Studios co-CEO said in welcoming the group.
Later on at the event, Gunn was spotted upstairs in a private terrace with a view of the stage, rocking out to the song alongside his friends and wife, Peacemaker actress Jennifer Holland.
Formed in Cincinnati, Ohio back in 2004, the pop rock band initially disbanded in 2014, but has enjoyed a comeback since its reunion in 2020. As of 2025, the band's lineup comprises lead vocalist Eric Nally, pianist Sky White, trumpeter/backing vocalist Alex Nauth, bassist Existential Youth, guitarist Devin Williams and drummer Teddy Aitkins.
Earlier this evening, Gunn told the Hall H crowd of the forthcoming sophomore installment: 'I really like TV shows where the characters don't just return every season and they're the same exact characters. I want to see growth. I want to see change and sometimes regression. And Peacemaker is a different guy this year. He's dealing with the demons he uncovered from the first season and trying to deal with them, and the world is not accepting him the way he is. They aren't accepting him as a hero.'
As fans might expect, Gunn's blockbuster triumph Superman will predate the events of Peacemaker Season 2, with the show's characters appearing as that movie's supporting cast: Green Lantern/Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion), Hawkgirl/Kendra Saunders (Isabela Merced) and Maxwell Lord (Sean Gunn). That trio, as seen in the first teaser, grill Peacemaker for an interview with the Justice League.

Nick Hogan speaks out to honor ‘greatest dad in the world' days after Hulk's death
Hulk Hogan's only son Nick has honored the wrestling legend in a heartfelt tribute in his first remarks since his father's sudden death. Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, died last Thursday after suffering a cardiac arrest at the age of 71. He is survived by Nick, 35, and estranged daughter Brooke, 37, whom he shared with his first ex-wife, Linda. 'This has been overwhelming and extremely difficult,' Nick wrote on Instagram on Saturday alongside a carousel of images of him and his father throughout the years. The first image featured the pair in matching red and yellow shirts when Nick was a young boy. 'Hearing so many kind words and stories about my dad's life, interactions and experiences with everyone has been incredible and comforting,' he added. Remembering Hogan as the 'most incredible person I've ever known' and his forever 'hero,' he called him the 'most kind, loving and amazing father anybody could ask for.' 'I feel so blessed to have had the greatest dad in the world,' Nick wrote. 'He was not only the best dad but also my mentor and my best friend. He always has been my best friend and I love him and miss him more than I could ever explain.' Nick Hogan said he had thanked his father 'for everything he has ever done for me and told him how much I loved him and hugged him every chance I got.' 'I spent a lot of time with him the past few years after moving back to Florida to be closer to him and I am so grateful for those memories. They are the best moments in my life,' he added. He continued: 'I would do anything to have him back but I know now that he will always be watching over me. I will always remember the lessons and advice he gave me and carry on in a way that I know would make him proud.' Hogan thanked his father for being 'the best dad in the world' and his 'best friend.' 'I love you so much Big Dog and I will miss you forever,' he wrote. The family of four — Hogan, Linda, Brooke, and Nick — starred in a reality TV series, Hogan Knows Best, which aired from 2005 to 2007. During the filming of the series, Nick was a burgeoning motorsports racer. But his career was cut short after he was involved in a devastating car crash in 2007. He was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and spent several months in a Florida county jail. He remained close to his father over the years, even celebrating Hogan on Father's Day last month. 'Had a great Father's Day with the goat! Happy Father's Day to all the awesome dads!' he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself as a child flexing with his father. Brooke, on the other hand, had experienced a falling out with both of her parents, revealing in March that she had 'completely separate reasons for going no contact' with both of them. 'I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood,' Brooke claimed on Instagram. 'Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it's not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes.' Linda vehemently denied Brooke's accusations, calling her daughter 'a narcissist just like her dad.' Meanwhile, Hogan said he had no idea why Brooke no longer spoke to him.

American musical satirist Tom Lehrer dies at 97, US media report
American musician and satirist Tom Lehrer has died at the age of 97, according to US media reports. Lehrer, a Harvard-trained mathematician, wrote darkly humorous songs, often with political connotations, that became popular in the 1950s and 1960s. Modern comedians such as Weird Al Yankovich said they have been influenced by Lehrer's work. His death was confirmed to the New York Times by David Herder, a friend. Born in Manhattan in 1928, Lehrer was a classically trained pianist. But despite his musical success, he spent most of his life pursuing academia. His teaching posts included spells at Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and the University of California. He was renowned for his darkly comic ballads, including the necrophiliac epic I Hold Your Hand in Mine, I Got It From Agnes - where he sang about the transmission of a venereal disease - and Poisoning Pigeons in the Park, which detailed the birds' apparent appetite for "peanuts coated with cyanide". In 1953 he released Songs by Tom Lehrer, a record that was sold through the post. It became a word of mouth success and sold an estimated half a million copies. The BBC banned most of Songs from the airwaves the following year. Following the success of the album, Lehrer began playing in nightclubs in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and at events for anti-war and left-wing groups. He wrote songs for the US edition of the satirical British show That Was the Week That Was, which were were made into an album in 1965. The highly controversial Vatican Rag, a Catholic hymn set in ragtime that mocked the Church, was featured among other songs that condemned nuclear weapons. He wrote for the 1970s educational children's show, The Electric Company, and in 1980 his songs enjoyed a revival when theatre producer Cameron Mackintosh staged the musical revue "Tomfoolery" featuring his work. He also taught maths and musical theatre courses at the University of California from 1972 to 2001, according to the New York Times. In 2020, Lehrer placed his song writing copyrights in the public domain, allowing anyone to perform, record or interpret his work for free. He also relinquished all rights to his recordings. In a statement on his website at the time, he wrote: "In short, I no longer retain any rights to any of my songs. So help yourselves, and don't send me any money." He also warned the website would be "shut down at some date in the not too distant future". The website was still live at the time of writing.
