Wednesday fans are blown away after seeing how Thing is filmed in each shot

People are only just realising that Thing from Netflix's 'Wednesday' has a big secret, and cannot believe what they were seeing when seeing the behind-the-scenes footage Netflix's 'Wednesday' has returned for a second series - and it's promised to be better than ever with a whole host of celebs added to the cast, including Joanna Lumley and Billie Piper. Lady Gaga even made a subtle appearance after the sped-up version of her song 'Bloody Mary' reached new heights of popularity thanks to the first season of the show. ‌ However, many people were left wondering whether 'Thing' from the show is CGI. For those not in the know, Thing from The Addams Family is a disembodied hand that serves as a loyal and helpful companion to the family. ‌ In the Netflix spin-off series, Thing is portrayed by 28-year-old Victor Dorobantu, a Romanian magician, but people were shocked to learn there was a person behind the hand. ‌ Victor shared some behind-the-scenes footage of him portraying the unusual character, and some people said he had the "hardest job on the set". Taking to X, someone wrote: "Rather than relying entirely on CGI, Thing was performed by Romanian magician and actor Victor Dorobantu, who wore a specially designed costume and prosthetics." His costume was blue with a hood so that he could be edited out of the background easily. In the comments of Victor's video, someone wrote: "Imagine telling the grandkids you were in the Wednesday series, every time thing comes on 'that's me'. So cool to know it was a person and not CGI." Another said: "Wow I actually thought Thing was like an AI type of thing. Not going to lie, he has the hardest job on set. That looks like a good workout lol." ‌ Somebody else shared: "The way I checked IMDB so fast this season to make sure it was you again before watching!! I was so stoked it was... love how you play Thing." "This is INCREDIBLY cool! I'm so happy you shared this," a woman praised him. A man penned: "Dang I never thought it was actually someone's hand I thought it was just animated." ‌ An Instagram user shared he must have a lot of strength, writing: "I know it takes immense shoulder strength to be able to pull off something like this. I know your shoulders are well built. I know your shoulders hurt." "Ok, no, but in all seriousness, the way this dude communicates and sends feelings across the screen is beyond me," a fan praised. Some tried to put the actor down, though, saying: "All this technology we have and there was no room for a robot hand? But I guess this makes it look more realistic." Did you know that behind Thing was a real person, or did you have absolutely no idea? Let us know in the comments...

7 brunch spots with outdoor seating in Glasgow

From West End bakeries to new city centre openings, here are seven restaurants and cafes where you can sip iced coffees and enjoy eggs benedicts under the sun. Zique's Hinba 66 Hyndland Street With coffee roasted on the Hebridean Isle of Seil and a menu of brunch dishes including tomatoes on toast with red pesto and pickled peppers, or freshly baked croissants with Netherend Farm butter and jam, Zique's Hinba's is the perfect place to spend a lazy Saturday morning. Singl-End 15 John Street or 263 Renfrew Street Serving at locations in Merchant City and Garnethill, Singl-end are long-established favourites of Glasgow's brunch scene. Whether you choose a pastry from the heavily-loaded baking display, or keep things savoury with skillet-baked eggs and chilli fennel sausage, a trip to these busy brunch spots is guaranteed to set you up for the day ahead. The city centre outdoor seating area, in particular, turns into a real sun trap when the warm weather hits. Sunny Acre 745 Pollokshaws Road In the Scotland-focused episode of the hit Netflix show, Somebody Feed Phil, actress Kelly Macdonald split a huge stack of cakes and bakes with host Phil Rosenthal at this Southside cafe. Anyone who has visited for themselves will understand why his enthusiasm began building with each bite. It's a popular place, which means securing a seat can be a difficult task, but slices of their homemade quiches and frittatas taste even better under the sun in the newly introduced outdoor seating area. The Wilson Street Pantry 6 Wilson Street If picture-perfect eggs are your favourite way to start the day, look no further than The Wilson Street Pantry in the city centre. Order them poached, fried, or scrambled on sourdough toast with optional extras of cold smoked salmon, feta cheese or link sausage. The team's specials are always worth a look too, with past creations pairing Corrie Mains eggs with chive, coriander, crab and smashed avocado or Thai basil cream cheese and crispy bacon bits. Partick Duck Club 27 Hyndland Street Just down the road from Zique's Hinba, the Partick Duck Club offers customers the chance to dine in quirky outdoor 'duck huts'. These booth-like benches look out towards Masnfield Park, making them a great choice for people watching while you tuck into a breakfast bun with homemade haggis, scrambled egg or beef dripping hash brown. The brunch menu is served all day, which means later on you can swap the coffee for a spicy Bloody Mary or fruity mimosa, if you fancy it. Cottonrake Cafe 717 Great Western Road There are plenty of fantastic brunch spots dotted along Great Western Road in Glasgow's West End, but the attention to detail and winning flavour combinations at Cottonrake earn them a place on this week's list. Think coconut and chia seed overnight oats with cherry compote and sweet nut dukkah, toasted rye topped with prosciutto, charred spring onion whipped cheese, hazelnut pesto and grilled nectarines, or grilled sourdough sandwiches with gruyere, cheddar & dijon mustard. The team has recently started opening in the evenings too, with a brand new dinner menu. Scran and Roadie 180 Saltmarket Previously located on London Road in the city's East End, Scran was known for regularly topping lists of Glasgow's best brunch spots. Although the team moved to a new unit last month, adding a selection of freshly made pizzas to their offering, there's no need for OG fans to worry. At their larger home just off Glasgow Green, you'll still find the team's best-selling brunch dishes from poached eggs with Stornoway black pudding to chicken salt hash browns topped with parmesan and truffle mayonnaise available from opening until 3 pm. As for the London Road spot? It's been taken over by the team behind Ho Lee Fook.

Amazon show that mentally scarred our TV editor returns and you can binge it now

An animated series that left our TV editor mentally scarred and questioning why she does her job has returned for a second season on Amazon Prime Video. Sausage Party: Foodtopia, created by Seth Rogen, is a spin-off of the 2016 film Sausage Party, which was developed by Rogen alongside Evan Goldberg and Jonah Hill. It followed the life of an anthropomorphic sausage named Frank Frankfurter (played by Rogen) who lives in a supermarket with other living foods. The original film was a major success at the global box office, earning back more than seven times its budget, and eight years later, Foodtopia premiered on Amazon Prime Video. Despite being an animated film, Sausage Party was slapped with a 15 certificate by the British Board of Film Classification for very strong language and very strong sex references. Foodtopia picks up after the events of the film, with Frank and his friends having established the titular safe haven away from the human world. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video However, when a flood destroys their newfound home, Frank and his foody friends have to team up with humans to ensure the long-term survival of their race. Despite the high stakes, Foodtopia continues with the adult themes – one scene in particular depicts a human being having sex with an actual sausage. The series returned for a second season on Wednesday, August 13, with all eight episodes currently available to stream in one go on Amazon Prime Video. As well as starring Rogen as Frankfurter, the series cast also includes Kristen Wiig as Brenda Bunson (a hot dog bun), Michael Cera as Barry (a deformed sausage), and Edward Norton as Sam Bagel Jr. (a bagel). Joining the show in season two are such names as Jillian Bell who plays Trish (a walnut), Martin Starr as Sherman (a cake), Marion Cotillard as Dojin (mustard), and Patti Harrison as Jill (a human girl). The scene in question that scarred our TV editor was featured during the sixth episode of the first season – it was described as 'surreal' and 'grotesque'. [The sex scene in Sausage Party: Foodtopia] is just as surreal and grotesque as you could possibly imagine. (For the purposes of this article, we reluctantly watched the scene so you don't have to. You're welcome). At the end of the trailer for the series, a human called Jack (Will Forte) announces: 'You hear that world? I'm in love with a hot dog!' So maybe it shouldn't have come as too much of a shock when in episode six, Jack and Frank share an extremely graphic sex scene that will now – devastatingly – be seared onto our brains forever. In short – there's snogging, licking, rubbing, penetration and an ejaculation. Everything that we did not need in a scene between a sausage and a human. It's clear from several people who've watched the show just how revolted they feel after watching that scene play out. 'Episode 6 of the new Sausage Party Show has genuinely one of the most f***ed up scenes I've ever watched in a cartoon. Only the most sick and twisted minds could've came up with something like that,' @OfficialBigAnt7 wrote on X. 'Bro what the f***?' added @O14dimeji, while @ephhhh_ stated: 'Was going to say the new sausage party show's been pretty fun then I watch episode 6 😨.' The original Sausage Party film finished with a giant food orgy, featuring all of the film's characters, that lasted for more than three minutes, so any sex scenes in the TV show weren't exactly a surprise. On YouTube, @CiDK said, 'Wow – someone had to animate this,' while Bryce added, 'Two old ladies walked out during this scene when I saw it.' Speaking about season two on X, @CheeseFhfif said they were going to 'burn their eyes', while @MeMyselfFan53995 joked: 'Can't wait to watch the spin-off series to the most vile movie ever.' More Trending The original film was received positively by critics, who gave it an 82% rating on Rotten Tomatoes – but audiences were less keen, with the audience rating sitting at 50%. Things didn't improve much on that front for Foodtopia, which was slapped with a 48% 'rotten' rating on Rotten Tomatoes – audiences weren't keen either, giving a 44% score. The critical consensus read: 'Foodtopia has plenty of rancid gags to tide over fans of Seth Rogen's sense of humour, but this follow-up can't help but feel like stale leftovers.'
