When Junaid Khan lied to an auto rickshaw driver about his father Aamir Khan
Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan's son, shared a funny incident where his father greeted him at a traffic signal while he was in an auto rickshaw. To avoid explaining their relationship to the curious driver, Junaid hilariously concocted a story about their families being neighbors with a Banaras connection. The impromptu cover-up became a memorable moment for Junaid.
It's not every day that a black Mercedes pulls up next to an auto rickshaw at a Mumbai signal, and the man inside — none other than Bollywood superstar
Aamir Khan
— rolls down his window to greet the passenger in the rickshaw. But for
Junaid Khan
,
Aamir
Khan's son, it turned into a hilarious memory and an impromptu cover-up he won't forget.

Junaid recently recounted this amusing incident in an interview with
Bharti Singh
and
Haarsh Limbachiyaa
, painting a picture of one ordinary day that took an unexpectedly awkward turn. He was traveling from Andheri to Bandra in an auto rickshaw for a rehearsal for a play. At the same time, Aamir Khan was leaving from
Yash Raj Studios
in his car. As fate would have it, both father and son found themselves at the same traffic signal near Tulip Star in Juhu.

'I was on a call when his car came up next to my rickshaw. He saw me and rolled down the window. He said, 'Hi Junaid,''
Junaid
recalled with a smile. Caught a little off guard, Junaid instinctively replied, 'Oh hi,' deliberately skipping the word 'Papa.'
Within moments, the signal turned green and both vehicles moved ahead. But Junaid could sense the curiosity bubbling in the mind of his auto rickshaw driver. 'He must've been so shocked,' Junaid laughed. 'A black Mercedes stops, the window rolls down, and Aamir Khan says hi to my passenger.'
Sure enough, the driver couldn't contain his curiosity and asked Junaid, 'Do you know him?' Faced with the question, Junaid instinctively decided to dodge the truth. 'I said, 'Yes, actually we live in the same area,'' he chuckled. But as if that wasn't enough, he spun an entire backstory to make it believable.
'I told him that my grandmother and his mother are both from Banaras,' Junaid added, laughing at his own impromptu script. 'I made a whole story on the spot.'
The light-hearted tale left both the audience and Junaid amused, offering a charming glimpse into his life as the son of a megastar — where sometimes, it's just easier to play along with a harmless lie than explain the truth to a surprised stranger in the middle of
Mumbai traffic
.

'Sitaare Zameen Par' makers shares his opinion on marching of tech in cinema
Director R.S. Prasanna, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film 'Sitaare Zameen Par', feels that human beings will soon catch up with the technological changes in filmmaking. The filmmaker spoke with IANS in the run-up to the release of his film, which features Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh. He recollected how he saw Indian cinema legend Kamal Haasan experimenting with a digital camera, Red Dragon. Speaking with IANS, Prasanna said, "I think the industry is pretty fast in adapting, like I remember when 35mm film was there and I was in film school and Kamal Haasan sir was testing the Red camera in our L.V. Prasad Film Institute, Chennai where I studied. He was doing a test shoot. I remember all the people around saying, 'it's just a fad and it'll not happen, it's not gonna happen', and it did". Aamir Khan's altered AI video hits cyberspace; 'Mr Perfectionist' issues clarification on 'endorsing' a particular political party The director said that one cannot stop the march of technology and one has to adapt. The audience will demand a change, the filmmakers will rise, the technological change will happen as it should, and experiments will keep happening, some will click, some will not. He further mentioned, "But I think one thing which will never change is the way our hearts beat, so as long as the heart is there in everything, the visual is only pixels, the sound is only decibels, but that feeling, that soul, that is, as long as we have a heart, stories told by humans will always be relevant". He then cited the example of romance as to how the shape or form of romance in cinematic storytelling has changed but the soul is the same. He shared, "If you see around yourself, romance has been there from early manage, they may say romance has changed, no romance has not changed, the medium has changed, today you call it situationship or anything else but, still the heart pains if you don't get to be with the person of your choice". "I feel unless genetically our heart changes or our mind changes, I think storytelling and emotions will be the same, the form will keep changing and we have to be on the awareness of that as a director, but I think for me as a filmmaker, I'm only looking for the soul, which I think soul is very old, so it won't change that fast", he added. Produced by Aamir Khan under his banner, Aamir Khan Productions, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' is set to release in cinemas on June 20, 2025. Stanley Cup final spotlight: Can Stuart Skinner outperform Sergei Bobrovsky in the net?
Image Via Twitter The Stanley Cup Final is not just about power forward matchups or blue line strategies this year, as all the spotlight is on goaltending. While the Oilers and Panthers prepare for their second consecutive championship face-off, goaltenders Sergei Bobrovsky and Stuart Skinner are at the heart of this bitter battle. With glories, reputations, redemption, and the Cup at stake, this goaltending matchup has the potential to become the deciding factor in this year's NHL showdown. Sergei Bobrovsky's legacy vs Stuart Skinner's potential: A clash of two paths With a series to his name, Bobrovsky has a mountain of accomplishments and a legacy that speaks volumes in support of him. A two-time Vezina Trophy winner, Stanley Cup champion, and multiple-time All-Star, Bob's career has been built on consistent excellence and clutch playoff performances. Long-standing .914 save percentage in the NHL for him reflects not just talent but longevity at the highest level. He is not just a seasoned vet; he is a performer whose performance counts at crucial moments. Stuart Skinner is perhaps still carving his path. The young goaltender showed much potential in his rookie year and had a brief, strong push for the Calder Trophy. Yet, since the road has been rocky, the most interesting aspect about his trajectory has been the change. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Cruceros todo incluido casi gratis (Ver ofertas) Ofertas de Cruceros | Anuncios Publicitarios Undo His save percentage has sloped downwards to its current state of .896. It has, however, been through these valleys that Skinner would shine on occasion with a backbone forged likened unto the character needed in a team whose path to finally breaking the championship drought seems quite far away. In terms of postseason pedigree, Bobrovsky has the advantage. He has posted a 0.911 save percentage in the playoffs since 2023 while leading all active goaltenders in shutouts in the same span, establishing himself as the goaltender who performs well in the big games. The young netminder Skinner, on the other hand, having dealt with benchings and inconsistencies throughout his postseason journey, also managed to grow deeper into the playoffs in ways that only made his presence indispensable in Edmonton's push. The recent form from both sides has made this an intriguing battle. As Bobrovsky had been dominant through the Eastern Conference Final, Skinner bounced back in a huge way in the Western series. Both goalies enter the Final with momentum, which will certainly be one of the most exciting subplots of the series. Also Read: "Never leave Stu': Stuart Skinner wins fans over with emotional post-game moment after Oilers' Game 4 victory While Stuart Skinner's emergence makes for some intrigue, Sergei Bobrovsky's elite experience and postseason credentials tilt the scales in his favor. In a championship where outcomes are decided on inches, Bobrovsky's poise could very well be the difference-maker.

PlayStation Plus celebrates ‘Days of Play' with GTA III remastered release
Source: Rockstar Games PlayStation Plus is celebrating its annual "Days of Play" event by including a flagship title to its game roster: the remastered Grand Theft Auto III from the GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition. Beginning June 10, 2025, Premium and Extra level subscribers will be able to download and access this classic open-world game for free. This action allows fans to go back to Liberty City with improved graphics and gameplay on PS4 and PS5 systems. GTA III remastered free for PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers The star of the Days of Play event is the inclusion of Grand Theft Auto III: The Definitive Edition with PlayStation Plus for Premium and Extra members. As of June 10, gamers get the fully remastered classic for free without any additional charge. The Definitive Edition comes with refreshed visuals, enhanced lighting, and contemporary controls, giving new life to this milestone title that was first released in 2001. This isn't the first time GTA III has seen a run on PlayStation Plus. It was available on the service's catalog for six months in 2021 shortly after the Definitive Edition's initial launch. This was followed by GTA: Vice City in October 2022, furthering the rotation of the trilogy titles through the subscription service. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo The release follows the plan of Sony to keep PlayStation Plus new and interesting to fans amidst the Days of Play celebration. Additional details and community reactions to the GTA III remaster The remastered GTA III will still be offered on PlayStation Plus for roughly six months, probably going off the service in November 2025. This aligns with other Rockstar games on the service, like GTA San Andreas, which went up during last year's Days of Play and went off after a half-year. The Definitive Edition was originally met with widespread criticism when it was first released because of a myriad of bugs and performance problems. Rockstar has put a lot of effort in the last three years patching and enhancing the trilogy, though. A major 2024 update rectified a lot of the big issues, so now is the perfect time for enthusiasts to enjoy remastered Liberty City on PS4 and PS5. Meanwhile, in further news, committed fans have even managed to port GTA III to its originally intended platform, the SEGA Dreamcast, demonstrating the passion of the community for this classic title. PlayStation Plus's Days of Play event offers a great opportunity for both returning and new players to dive into the remastered Grand Theft Auto III. With enhanced visuals and improved gameplay, this release reminds players why Liberty City remains a timeless setting in gaming history.
