Saiyaara teaser: Newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda star in a signature Mohit Suri violent love story. Watch

Yash Raj Films have just released Saiyaara teaser that introduces two newcomers to the industry and the audiences. Although Aneet Padda has already featured in the OTT film Salaam Venky, it will be Ahaan Panday's first visit to the big dance. Nephew of industry veteran Chunky Panday and brother of the new generation star Ananya Panday, the newcomer will be aiming to hit the ground running and build upon his family's position in Bollywood. The film has been directed by Mohit Suri, and while the first look can be deceiving, it has the same vibe as one of his earlier films, Aashiqui 2. The teaser opens up with piano playing in the background and Padda's character reciting a poem, definitely not something new for a Yash Raj Studios film. We get a glimpse into the lives and personalities of our main characters, as Ahaan rides through the city on a bike while smoking a cigarette, and Padda just seems to be in awe of him in other frames. Our male protagonist is introduced with shirtless scenes and intense guitar playing. ALSO READ: Ananya Panday's cousin Ahaan was transported to hospital in a thermocol box after being born 42 days premature: 'It's a filmy story' Padda continues her recitation in the background, as several continuous shots give a sneak peek into what the entire movie is going to be about: music, riding a bike, a dollop of violence and a pinch of actual story. What's concerning is that a film, which seems to have music in an integral position, has almost 8 people working on the album, which opens up a very real possibility of 'too many chefs'. The teaser ends with a shot of Padda's character screaming. Ahaan's sister Ananya seems to have found a sense of direction in the industry, choosing smart roles for herself and delivering on them. Even she took her time to settle in, and her debut in Student of the Year 2 was definitely not the best start. She has since done roles in films like Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023) and Kesari Chapter 2 (2025), for which she received appreciation. Backed by Aditya Chopra and Akshaye Widhani, the film is set to release on July 18.

Mumtaz recalls Yash Chopra's repeated marriage proposals: ‘He'd say, aye moti, I love you yaar, marry me'

Veteran actress Mumtaz recently opened up about a deeply personal and lesser-known chapter of her life, her equation with the late filmmaker . Speaking in an interview with Vickey Lalwani, revealed that Chopra, who was once an assistant to his brother BR Chopra, was infatuated with her and even proposed to her, not once, but repeatedly. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Reminiscing about those early days, Mumtaz said, 'Not once, he must've asked me a thousand times. I'm exaggerating, but he told me on several occasions, 'Aye moti, I love you yaar, marry me.'' Despite his heartfelt proposals, she simply didn't feel the same way. 'There was no chemistry, I couldn't marry him' Mumtaz explained that though Yash Chopra was affectionate and persistent, she never saw him as a romantic partner. 'To have such a close relationship with anybody, you have to fall in love with the person. You have to have chemistry. If you don't have chemistry, how can you live together as a married couple? I never had that chemistry with him,' she said, making it clear that their bond remained platonic. She recalled how Chopra often visited her house and was well-liked by her mother, who thought of him as a good man. Mumtaz also had fond words for Chopra's wife, Pamela, calling her a warm hostess during her visits to their home. Yash Chopra's last call and a promise to watch Jab Tak Hai Jaan Mumtaz became emotional as she remembered the filmmaker's passing in 2012, just before the release of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, his final directorial. 'I was in London when I got the news,' she said. She recalled that Chopra had once called her and asked her to promise she would watch his upcoming film. That conversation remains etched in her memory. Mumtaz shares inside videos from her birthday bash During a later meeting with Rani Mukerji, Chopra's daughter-in-law, she was reminded of his wish for her to visit Yash Raj Studios. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Though she wanted to honour it, Mumtaz said she now feels hesitant to ask for a tour, as too much time has passed. Mumtaz on the men she was actually drawn to While Yash Chopra's love remained unrequited, Mumtaz admitted she had been romantically drawn to actors Rajesh Khanna and Shammi Kapoor, though things didn't work out with them either.

When Junaid Khan lied to an auto rickshaw driver about his father Aamir Khan

Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan's son, shared a funny incident where his father greeted him at a traffic signal while he was in an auto rickshaw. To avoid explaining their relationship to the curious driver, Junaid hilariously concocted a story about their families being neighbors with a Banaras connection. The impromptu cover-up became a memorable moment for Junaid. It's not every day that a black Mercedes pulls up next to an auto rickshaw at a Mumbai signal, and the man inside — none other than Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan — rolls down his window to greet the passenger in the rickshaw. But for Junaid Khan , Aamir Khan's son, it turned into a hilarious memory and an impromptu cover-up he won't forget. EXCLUSIVE: Nani Reveals Massive Body Transformation For 'Paradise' | How He Got Chiranjeevi On Board Junaid recently recounted this amusing incident in an interview with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa , painting a picture of one ordinary day that took an unexpectedly awkward turn. He was traveling from Andheri to Bandra in an auto rickshaw for a rehearsal for a play. At the same time, Aamir Khan was leaving from Yash Raj Studios in his car. As fate would have it, both father and son found themselves at the same traffic signal near Tulip Star in Juhu. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas Prices In Dubai Might Be More Affordable Than You Think Villas In Dubai | Search Ads View Deals Undo 'I was on a call when his car came up next to my rickshaw. He saw me and rolled down the window. He said, 'Hi Junaid,'' Junaid recalled with a smile. Caught a little off guard, Junaid instinctively replied, 'Oh hi,' deliberately skipping the word 'Papa.' Within moments, the signal turned green and both vehicles moved ahead. But Junaid could sense the curiosity bubbling in the mind of his auto rickshaw driver. 'He must've been so shocked,' Junaid laughed. 'A black Mercedes stops, the window rolls down, and Aamir Khan says hi to my passenger.' Sure enough, the driver couldn't contain his curiosity and asked Junaid, 'Do you know him?' Faced with the question, Junaid instinctively decided to dodge the truth. 'I said, 'Yes, actually we live in the same area,'' he chuckled. But as if that wasn't enough, he spun an entire backstory to make it believable. 'I told him that my grandmother and his mother are both from Banaras,' Junaid added, laughing at his own impromptu script. 'I made a whole story on the spot.' The light-hearted tale left both the audience and Junaid amused, offering a charming glimpse into his life as the son of a megastar — where sometimes, it's just easier to play along with a harmless lie than explain the truth to a surprised stranger in the middle of Mumbai traffic .
