Saiyaara box office collection Day 1: Debuts can be tricky even if you are a legacy hire, but Yash Raj Studios and Mohit Suri just might have found the secret sauce. Saiyaara, starring two new actors, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has completely defied expectations, and according to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film minted Rs 20 crore on its very first day in the theatres. Saiyaara is now the fourth biggest opener of the year after Chhaava (Rs 31 cr), Sikandar (Rs 26 cr) and Housefull 5 (Rs 24 cr).
Leading into the first day, the reviews for the film had been pretty decent, and the advance booking reports suggested quite an eventful first day. But even after all the promotional tactics put in place by the makers, no one could have anticipated such a blockbuster start to Saiyaara's theatrical run. This wasn't Aneet's first time facing the camera as she has previously appeared in Amazon Prime Video's Big Girls Don't Cry and Bollywood film Salaam Venky. For Ahaan, this was his debut although he has been photographed with his cousin Ananya Panday, and other star kids. While it can be argued that Ahaan's fame gave the makers some kind of insurance regarding the footfall in theatres, getting these kinds of numbers was surely unexpected.

The film had over 7000 shows on its opening day. Throughout the day the occupancy rates of the film remained solid, averaging out at 49.9 percent. The morning and the afternoon shows achieved rates of 35.51 percent and 46.62 percent , while the evening and night shows performed even better with 50.85 percent and 66.62 percent. In the Delhi-NCR region, the film had over 800 shows with around 60 percent occupancy, and in the Mumbai region, the film had around 650 shows with around 43 percent occupancy.
To compare Ahaan's debut with other stars such as Tiger Shroff, or his own cousin Ananya, the Saiyaara star sits head and shoulders above all. Back in 2014, Tiger's Heropanti collected Rs 6.55 crore on its opening day, while Ananya's Dharma Productions film Student Of The Year 2 made Rs 12.06 crore. In 2025, stars like Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan have had successes with films like Raid 2 and Sitaare Zameen Par, but even they did not have such a solid opening. Raid 2 made Rs 19.25 crore on its opening day and Sitaare Zameen Par earned Rs 10.7 crore. Sky Force, which starred Akshay Kumar and newcomer Veer Pahariya, opened at Rs 12.25 crore. By far, it looks like Mohit Suri might have the next big hit on his hands.
These numbers paint a very positive picture for Yash Raj Studios and director Mohit Suri, as the film has a lot riding on it, not to mention the careers of two budding actors. The film has managed to get a successful headstart, and the makers will be hoping to continue this momentum through the first weekend.

The Fantastic Four India Box Office Report: ₹21.79 Cr in 4 Days, Drops on Monday

Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps had a strong weekend in India but saw a sharp drop on Monday: Friday (Day 1): ₹5.5 crore Saturday (Day 2): ₹7.35 crore Sunday (Day 3): ₹7.25 crore Monday (Day 4): ₹1.66 crore Total India Collection (4 Days): ₹21.79 crore (approx.) The big drop on Monday suggests that the film may struggle to hold audience interest during the week. Competition in India The film is facing tough competition: 'Saiyaara' (Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda) is still going strong with over ₹250 crore already collected. 'Mahavatar Narsimha', an animated mythological movie, had a ₹20 crore opening weekend. These movies are pulling audiences away from The Fantastic Four in India. International Collection Globally, the film is doing very well: North America: $118 million International markets: $100 million Worldwide total (opening): $218 million This makes it the 4th biggest global opening of 2025, after A Minecraft Movie, Lilo & Stitch, and Superman. The film's global success is clear, but in India, its future depends on weekday collections and how well it can compete with strong local hits.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 6: Pawan Kalyan film remains steady after VFX change, earns THIS amount

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 6: Actor Pawan Kalyan's film Hari Hara Veera Mallu - Part 1 Sword vs Spirit has registered a sharp fall in its earnings after its first weekend at the box office. On Tuesday, the film maintained its grip despite reduced occupancy in theatres. According to the industry tracker Sacnilk, Hari Hara Veera Mallu - Part 1 Sword vs Spirit earned ₹ 83 lakh so far. The live data is based on morning and afternoon shows. The final figure will be out after the night shows. The film's current earnings could potentially double if it maintains its momentum. The total earnings of Hari Hara Veera Mallu now stand at ₹ 78.18 crore. The film had an overall 14.30% occupancy on Tuesday among the Telugu audience. The occupancy was as follows: On day 5, the film's India Net Collection was ₹ 77.35 crore. On the same day, its Worldwide Collection was ₹ 105.25 crore while Worldwide Collection was ₹ 14.10 crore. Its India Gross Collection was ₹ 91.15 crore on day 5. The film is directed by Krish and Jyothi Krisna. It stars Pawan Kalyan alongside Nidhhi Agerwal and Bobby Deol in the lead. The film was initially criticised for its poor VFX and CGI shots. The film was silently re-released with tweaked CGI recently. Some portions of the film were also reduced, shortening its total running time. Talking about it, director Jyothi admitted to ABN that he knew beforehand some scenes weren't fully up to par before their release. 'Anyone will troll only those who are in the limelight. People only get views when they write about something famous. I do not take any of the negativity to heart. Every single day, I see something negative being written about Hari Hara Veera Mallu. This is not the first time a film has taken this long to produce,' he said. Commenting on the criticism around the film's VFX or CGI, he said that they weren't 'that bad'. 'When they nitpicked, all they could find was that the CGI and VFX were bad in some places. No one could point out the story and screenplay, or say it's boring, or that they can't understand it. There are 4400 shots in the film that required CGI. I knew in my heart that a few shots weren't up to par, but it wasn't something huge. We needed to hold special premieres for which tickets were sold out, and they turned that minor issue into something major," he also said.

Who would've thought #Saiyaara would breach the ₹ 400 cr mark [Gross BOC] even before its release?... A true game-changer, the film has taken the industry by surprise with its phenomenal performance across the globe.' In a previous post on X, Adarsh stated, ' ₹ 300 CR? ₹ 400 CR?
