Ministry of Education to Announce Tawjihi Exam Results This Evening - Jordan News
Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, will hold a press conference at 6:00 p.m. this Thursday evening to announce the results of the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) for the year 2025. اضافة اعلان In a press statement, the Ministry confirmed that the results will be available starting at 5:00 p.m. via the official website: During the conference, which will be held at the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Center for Education and Information Technology, the Ministry will announce the overall pass rates for the 2025 Tawjihi exams, in addition to the names of the top-performing students. A total of approximately 209,871 students sat for the Tawjihi exams this year, including 147,461 regular students and 62,410 private study candidates. Meanwhile, Attorney General Dr. Nayef Al-Samarat instructed public prosecutors across the Kingdom's governorates to take firm legal measures against any violations of the law, especially with the upcoming announcement of exam results and the accompanying summer celebrations. He emphasized the importance of coordination with security forces and judicial officers to apprehend those who fire live ammunition or block roads with celebratory convoys, and to initiate legal investigations against them without leniency. For its part, the Public Security Directorate renewed its warning against unsafe and unlawful traffic behaviors often associated with such celebrations, such as disruptive convoys or individuals hanging out of car windows. These actions pose serious risks to public safety and obstruct traffic, making them clear violations punishable by law.
