Jessie J hospitalized for infection following breast cancer surgery
Jessie J was hospitalized for an infection six weeks after undergoing surgery following her breast cancer diagnosis. The singer updated fans on her Instagram story Saturday, sharing a photo of an IV in her arm. 'How I spent the last 24 hours,' she wrote. '6 weeks post surgery and I was back in the same ward I was after my surgery. Not expected or planned. I had and still have symptoms that pointed towards a blood clot on the lung.' 'IT IS NOT A BLOOD CLOT THANK GOD,' she continued. 'They ran a lot of tests, which ended up showing I have an infection (still trying to figure out what) and a little fluid on my lungs.' 'Finding it hard to breathe in, but I discharged myself last night (I hate being in hospital) and will continue the investigation as an outpatient,' she wrote. In another post, Jessie J opened up about her health journey, writing, 'I know many people who will have gone through this or similar may agree with me on this or not and that's ok.' 'But I know for me, the true hard journey of this whole thing physically was the day I went into surgery. The recovery physically is far from quick or easy, and mentally it's been the most challenging time for me,' she continued. The singer, who welcomed her son, Sky Safir Cornish Colman, in May 2023 with boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman, also spoke about the impact of her health on motherhood and her career. "Especially as a Mum with a toddler and being unable to be the mother I usually am,' she wrote. 'And having to change the plans for my career for this year has been frustrating after working so hard to get to this point and excited to do it all.' She added, 'But it's life, I know that. And don't get me wrong getting the all clear was and is incredible. But that result didn't speed up or make the recovery from the surgery any easier physically.' She went on to share that her journey was a reminder 'to myself to slow tf down.' 'This isn't a speedy recovery. And it isn't meant to be,' she said. Matt Rife Is The Guardian Of The Annabelle Doll
Annabelle has a new babysitter! Comedian Matt Rife just announced that he and YouTuber Elton Castee purchased the home of Ed and Lorraine Warren. According to his video, Matt said he is now "the legal guardian for at least the next 5 years" of the Warrens' "haunted collection," which includes the seemingly haunted Annabelle doll. Ed and Lorraine were paranormal investigators depicted in the Conjuring franchise by actors Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. The pair founded the Warren Occult Museum where they housed the allegedly haunted artifacts from their investigations. "We do not legally own the items, but we are the legal guardians and caretakers of the items," Matt said, adding that fans will have a chance to "book a night or weekend" in the Warrens' former home, as an Airbnb. Why on earth anybody in their right mind would want to do that is beyond me. "If you know me, you know I'm obsessed with the paranormal and all things haunted. You also may know The Conjuring films are my favorite scary movies of all time. So I'm incredibly honored to have taken over one of the most prominent properties in paranormal history," Matt wrote in a caption alongside several Instagram photos of Ed and Lorraine. "Ed and Lorain[sic] Warren arguably put demonology and paranormal into the mainstream and are the very heart of some of the most famous haunted stories of all time, The Conjuring House, Amityville Horror, et…" Annabelle, which was actually a Raggedy Ann doll, was allegedly moving on its own, according to a student nurse in the '70s. The dramatization with Patrick and Vera led to sequels and other movies about the Warrens and their haunted artifacts. According to Tony Spera, the son-in-law of Warrens' said that he and his wife still own the doll and the Warrens' other alleged haunted artifacts but are leasing them to Matt and Elton. While the quirky comedian is obviously stoked to take on this project, his fans are rightfully creeped out given the history of the horrors within that house. One person wrote, "DONT TOUCH ANYTHING!! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT TOUCH ANYTHING!!" "RIP buddy. It's been nice knowing ya," another person wrote. "If you disappear randomly we know why," someone else said. Of course, people couldn't help but find the humor in all this. Somebody said, "Would be very funny if he was very clearly actually possessed during his next special. Doing crowd work like 'Does anyone else here love being an evil doll?'" Republican personality Kimberly Klacik randomly said, "He's too hot to risk his life like this. These are ugly people activities." Singer Jessie J hospitalized with an infection: 'Finding it hard to breathe in'
Jessie J is facing another health challenge. The 37-year-old singer, who underwent surgery for breast cancer six weeks ago, was hospitalized with an infection, she shared in a series of Instagram stories on Sunday, Aug. 3. Jessie J, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, said she has "a little fluid on my lungs," and although doctors "ran a lot of tests," she is "still trying to figure out" what kind of infection she has. Her symptoms pointed towards a blood clot on her lung, but this was determined to not be the case. "Finding it hard to breathe in, but I discharged myself last night (I hate being in hospital) and will continue the investigation as an outpatient," she added. The Instagram stories included a photo from what appeared to be a hospital bed showing Jessie J's arm with an IV in it. "How I spent the last 24 hours," she wrote on the picture. Jessie J shares positive update after breast cancer surgery The update comes after Jessie J announced in June that she had been diagnosed with "early" breast cancer. At the time, she told fans she had been in and out of tests, and she later underwent surgery. In July, the "No Secrets" singer announced she had received results indicating the cancer had not spread, though she said she still had "lots of healing to go" and needed to undergo another surgery.
