Liverpool star reveals new tattoo in tribute to team-mate Diogo Jota - with heartfelt four-word message
The footballer and his brother, Andre Silva, died when their car crashed in the early hours in northern Spain on July 3.
A series of tributes have been paid in the weeks since, including Liverpool's decision to retire Jota's No 20 at all levels, following consultation with his widow and his family.
Tsimikas has made his own personal tribute, with the Liverpool defender having a new tattoo on his left hand.
The tattoo reads 'Wish you were here', with the message accompanied by Jota's No 20.
An image of Tsimikas' new tattoo has emerge online, but it had also been visible when the Greek defender played in Liverpool's pre-season match against Preston.
The match at Deepdale took place on July 13, just 10 days on from Jota's tragic death.
A minute's silence was held prior to kick-off, while club anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone' was sung.
Preston's club captain Benjamin Whiteman carried a wreath which he placed in front of the away end and players from both teams wore black armbands, while digital tributes were shown on screens around the ground.
A black and white image of Jota holding the Premier League trophy featured on the cover of a 16-page commemorative matchday programme at Deepdale.

He told Betfair: "It's ridiculous what Newcastle put out this morning to say he wasn't on the trip because of a slight thigh injury. If they thought people wouldn't see through that… it was disappointing. They should've just told the truth straight away. I understand it's a very difficult situation for them but it is what it is. "Eddie Howe has to use all his persuasive powers to do what he can and try to make him stay at least one more year. If that can't happen then it is what it is. You have to get the very best deal for the football club and if someone is prepared to pay north of £150million, and if he really, really wants to go, you can't step in his way. Mail Sport's Lewis Steele answers the key questions surrounding Liverpool's interest in the Newcastle forward. HOW CAN LIVERPOOL AFFORD ISAK? They have barely lifted a finger in the transfer market in the two years before this window, and they are well within the profit and sustainability rules. That's despite signing Florian Wirtz (£116million), Hugo Ekitike (£79m), Milos Kerkez (£40m), Jeremie Frimpong (£29.5m), Giorgi Mamardashvili (£29m) and young goalkeeper Armin Pecsi (£1.5m). If they go all out for him and put the money on the table, there is every chance that Liverpool will sign Isak this summer. It seemed unlikely they would sign Wirtz when the interest was first known and they did, so let's see. DO THEY HAVE TO SELL IN ORDER TO BUY? Yes. And they will. I love everything about the club, but I kind of need to be selfish and see what's best for me. I have big ambitions. I want to get in the World Cup squad.' Young midfielder Tyler Morton, like Elliott, has interest from West Ham and clubs on the continent, while Federico Chiesa has not travelled to Asia and is likely to depart. They have already sold Caoimhin Kelleher and Jarell Quansah but more exits are expected. ARE OTHER CLUBS IN FOR ISAK? He is probably the best No 9 on the market so, naturally, yes. But it does feel like he wants Liverpool. Saudi Arabian clubs have posted their interest but it is hard to see him going there. If the champions want him and opt to go full out for the deal, it seems likely he will be pulling on the new Liverpool kit come next month. A lot of ifs, buts and maybes but the simple summary is: the Reds like him and he wants to leave Newcastle. Normally that only ends one way.
