. The Rage stands for Rockstar Advanced Game Engine. It's been used for many of Rockstar Games' titles and is known for their detailed open-world environments and complex physics.
For GTA 6, the developers took Rockstar Advanced Game Engine to a whole new level with the introduction of
RAGE 9
, which took the whole scene to the next level by capturing every single detail, like stitches on clothes, hairs, and many more.
The all-new real-time water simulation added more to the game.
