Eamonn O'Hara and Dessie Sloyan confirmed as Sligo joint managers
The committee ratified the duo on Monday night as they take over from the outgoing Tony McEntee who stepped down after five years in charge when Sligo were defeated by Fermanagh in the Tailteann Cup quarter-final.
All-Star O'Hara has guided his native Tourlestrane to five conseceutive county titles before overseesing back-to-back titles in Leitrim with Mohill. He is currently the Boyle manager in Roscommon.
Sloyan managed the Sligo U20 team to Connacht success in 2022 and was recenty part of the Longford senior set-up under Paddy Christie. He also managed his own club Easkey and is currently part of the Knockmore coaching ticket in Mayo.
The pair will be joined by Donegal's Eamon McGee as coach/selector and Con O'meara as head coach. O'Meara was joint-manager of Coolera-Strandhill who won their first Connacht club title in 2024. Sean Boyle will continue in his role as strength and conditioning coach with Dr Stephen Gilmartin continuing as team doctor, Alan Dunne leading physio and rehabilitation and Aidan Carty continuing as kit man. Further additions to the management team will be announced in due course.
