There's A Summer Mini Dress For Everyone – Here Are 15 Styles To Shop Now
What the summer mini dress lacks in fabric, it makes up for in versatility. For SS25, designers continue to herald this diminutive wonder, in smock form at Chloé, pelted with polka dots at Prabal Gurung and Carolina Herrera, and buoyed by bubble hems at Stella McCartney and JW Anderson. Anderson also made a strong case for the slinky satin dress – as has Hailey Bieber on at least two recent trips to New York's Cafe Zaffri – while Coach and Sandy Liang used the fabric in pleasingly starchier forms.
One could argue that a classic shift is the mini dress' most authentic iteration, since this was the shape that started it all in the 1960s. A simple black shift is always a good idea (Pamela Anderson is a fan), or consider something in leather (see Emilia Wickstead) or neon – or both, as at Gucci.
What's more, the summer mini dress can be worn for practically any occasion, from marketing-hopping while on holiday to balmy nights spent dancing, and even more formal affairs; for example, Georgia May Jagger and Jourdan Dunn eschewed the usual midi or maxi dress for shorter styles at this year's Serpentine Summer Party.
From bubble hems to Sixties-inspired shifts, airy smocks to satin styles, we've shortlisted the loveliest summer mini dresses, below.
A bubble hem lends futuristic edge to the tried-and-trued mini dress. Ground the flouncy silhouette with ballet flats – or chunky loafers, as seen at JW Anderson and Victoria Beckham.
Spotted: polka dots dainty and oversized at Patou, Prabal Gurung and Carolina Herrera. You can't go wrong with classic black and white, best accessorised with poppy-red lipstick.
The satin summer mini dress comes in forms both slinky and structured, making it the perfect piece for parties and more formal events alike. Take cues from N°21's SS25 show, where a satin shift was styled with pointed flats and a messy beehive.
The nightie dress is a heatwave marvel. Reach for smock styles in chiffon or cotton that have romantic, puffed sleeves and pretty smocked or shirred detailing, and finish things off with a generous helping of vintage jewellery.
Riff on a Sixties sensibility with a sleeveless shift dress. A well-made one in classic black will see you through decades of wear, or opt for something a little more playful, in candyfloss-pink or nostalgic school checks. Mules or block-heel Mary Janes work well here.

Inside Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez's relationship timeline
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez have captured the hearts of millions worldwide, not just for their individual talents but for their inspiring love story. From their first meeting to their recent engagement, the couple's journey has been one filled with love, family, and shared dreams. 2016: A Fateful Meeting at Gucci The couple's story began in 2016 in Madrid, where Georgina Rodríguez was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store. Cristiano Ronaldo, already a global superstar, walked in, and sparks flew. In her Netflix series I Am Georgina , Rodríguez recalled feeling embarrassed by Ronaldo's striking presence, saying, 'When I saw him, he was so handsome I felt embarrassed to look at him.' Ronaldo later shared that he was drawn to her maturity and unique charm, marking the start of their connection. Their early interactions were discreet, but the chemistry was undeniable. Early 2017: Going Public and Instagram Official By January 2017, Ronaldo and Rodríguez made their first public appearance together at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich, accompanied by Ronaldo's eldest son, Cristiano Jr. This debut solidified their status as a couple. In March 2017, Ronaldo made their relationship Instagram official with a cozy photo captioned with a heart emoji, delighting fans. The couple's early days were marked by Rodríguez leaving her job at Gucci due to overwhelming attention from fans, a testament to Ronaldo's global fame. Mid-2017: Expanding Their Family In June 2017, Ronaldo announced the birth of twins, Eva and Mateo, via surrogate, adding to his family that already included Cristiano Jr. Just months later, on November 12, 2017, Rodríguez gave birth to their daughter, Alana Martina. The couple chose her name together, with Ronaldo selecting 'Alana' and Rodríguez choosing 'Martina,' symbolizing their partnership. Rodríguez told ¡HOLA! magazine, 'When I have him next to me, I have everything. The children are our happiness.' Their growing family became a cornerstone of their relationship. 2018–2020: Building a Blended Family As their relationship deepened, Ronaldo and Rodríguez shared glimpses of their family life on social media. From matching outfits in 2018 to family vacations in 2019, they showcased a tight-knit bond. Ronaldo's move to Juventus in 2018 brought the family to Italy, where they continued to thrive. Despite their high-profile status, the couple emphasized normalcy, with Rodríguez embracing her role as a stepmother to Ronaldo's three older children. Their shared values and commitment to family strengthened their connection. 2021–2022: Joy and Heartbreak In October 2021, the couple announced they were expecting twins. However, in April 2022, tragedy struck when one of the twins, a boy named Ángel, passed away during childbirth. Their daughter, Bella Esmeralda, was born healthy, but the loss was profound. Rodríguez reflected on I Am Georgina , 'This year, I had the best and the worst moment of my life in an instant.' Ronaldo's support helped her navigate the grief, and their openness about the loss resonated with fans worldwide. 2023: A New Chapter in Saudi Arabia In 2023, Ronaldo signed with Al-Nassr, prompting the family to relocate to Saudi Arabia. Rodríguez adapted to the new environment, sharing moments of their life in the Middle East, including a lavish Friendship Day celebration in August 2025. The couple's ability to navigate global moves while maintaining a strong family unit highlighted their resilience. Rodríguez's social media posts, like one captioned 'Celebrating friendship. Who has good friends has a treasure,' showcased their grounded lifestyle. August 2025: Engagement Announcement On August 11, 2025, Georgina Rodríguez confirmed their engagement with a heartfelt Instagram post. Sharing a photo of her hand atop Ronaldo's, she showcased a massive oval-cut diamond ring and wrote, 'Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas' ('Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives'). The announcement ended years of speculation, as Rodríguez had previously worn a different ring, sparking rumors in April 2025. Ronaldo had hinted at marriage in a Netflix interview, saying, 'It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I'm 1000% sure that it'll happen.' The engagement news set social media ablaze, with fans celebrating the couple's milestone after nearly a decade together. Ahmedabad Plane Crash

‘Taking a seasonal pause': This Miami Beach restaurant from a celebrity chef is closed
Another Miami-area restaurant is taking a summer break. Lucky Cat, the Asian-inspired restaurant from Gordon Ramsay, is now closed on Miami Beach. The restaurant, which opened early in 2024, announced a 'seasonal pause' on Instagram, calling the break 'A moment to reset' and hinted that it had 'a future to be reimagined.' Lucky Cat is located at 119 Washington Ave. in the South of Fifth neighborhood, next to Jeremy Ford's Michelin-starred Stubborn Seed. 'As the city's tempo softens, we're reflecting on an incredible first chapter and dreaming up what's next,' the Lucky Cat post said. 'To our guests, our partners, and our exceptional team: thank you. This isn't goodbye, just a moment to breathe.' The post hints that Lucky Cat Miami will return at some point, although a couple of restaurants have made the same promise only to close permanently. Ensenada, for example, a coastal Mexican spot at the Vagabond Hotel in Miami, announced it was taking a break, then admitted later it had no plans to reopen. Also not reopening is Sereia, the Portuguese restaurant in Coconut Grove, which closed in May, while Massimo Bottura's Torno Subito team insists the Italian spot on the rooftop of Julie & Henry's will be back in the fall. The three Lucky Cat locations in the UK will remain open, as will Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen Miami at 333 Biscayne Blvd. Way. The first Lucky Cat opened in 2019 in the affluent Mayfair district of London, inspired by Ramsay's traveles in Asia, including Tokyo's vinyl listening lounges and the bars of Shanghai. The restaurants serve an Asian menu with a variety of influences: sushi and sashimi, buns and dumplings, tempura and robata-grilled dishes, bao buns and Korean spiced black cod with gochujang. Ramsay called it 'an exquisite dining experience.' 'The mood is cool, the ambiance dark and sultry,' he said via email in 2024. 'Every plate has been thoughtfully conceptualized, the flavors are exciting, your palate is alive.' He told the Miami Herald he had long kept an eye on the Magic City as it exploded into a dining destination. 'Everything is appealing about Miami,' he wrote. 'From a chef's perspective, the ingredients are incredible, and the food scene is so, so hot right now. There is amazing inspiration everywhere: the art, the different areas across the city, and the weather is beautiful. I love it!'
