Love Island in chaos as couple dumped from island moments after romantic final date

Daily Mirror3 days ago
Love Island contestants enjoyed a romantic final date in the villa after the boys hit the town to find presents for their partners. After sitting down to enjoy a homemade meal from the boys, the stars received a text revealing the couple with the least votes would be dumped from the island.
It was revealed Conor and Megan were dumped from the villa, much to the shock of fans at home. One fan said on Twitter /X: "megan and connor over dejon and meg? i'd hate to know what kinda relationships people voting are in lol," while another added: "MEGAN AND CONNOR. THIS IS RIGGED. WHO VOTED FOR DEJON AND MEG?! OWN UP NOW. NOW."
Meanwhile, Helena and Blu were booted from the villa just days before the final.
Viewers have been guessing which of the remaining six would be the last couple eliminated before the winner is announced. Last night, the Islanders participated in the Knowing Me, Knowing You challenge, presented by Yas and Jamie.
The Islanders faced a series of questions, some lighthearted, and others more serious. Despite several rows withing the game, it was Meg and Dejon alongside Shakira and Harry who emerged triumphant.
This led to Dejon and Meg clashing over his choice to pick Yas when asked who he would pair up with if his partner wasn't available. Meg was stunned by his remark and later confronted him about never revealing his attraction to Yas.
Dejon was hurt by her worries and blamed her for attempting to embarrass him in front of the cameras. He said at the fire pit: "You're trying to make me look bad. And I don't understand why you are trying to make me look bad."
Meg replied: "I am not trying to make you look bad." Dejon continued: "At the time, Billykiss was also in the villa. I said to Yas you are my number one. And then after you, it would be if I had to, it would be Yas and Billykiss."
When Meg said 'yeah', he questioned whether she recalled the conversation, which she confirmed she did.
Unsatisfied with her response, he continued: "I know but I know what I am saying. You just tried to act like I didn't tell you that. That's a big thing."
Meg defended her position, stating: "No, but you didn't say the words, if Meg wasn't there then she would be your number one priority. You didn't say them words, you said if Meg wasn't there, then it would be Yasmin and Billykiss."

Love Island winners 'revealed' before live final result after 'fan error'

Love Island 2025 viewers believed they'd worked out which couple would win the ITV2 dating series before the live final even begun, and it could depend on an 'error' with the way they are voting Some Love Island fans are afraid they may have scuppered a win for the favourites on the show, and that an unexpected pairing will be the winners. Before the live final hosted by Maya Jama even kicked off on Monday night, fans believed posts on social media gave away who would come out on top. ‌ In the final are four couples, including Toni and Cach, Yasmin and Jamie, Shakira and Harry and Ty and Angel. While Toni, Shakira and Yas have all been tipped to win at points with their partners, more so than more recent arrival Angel, a twist that aired on Sunday night has sparked fears none of them will win. ‌ It comes as most fans tipped Harry and Shakira for the win, after their surprising and last-minute reunion amid a dramatic time in the villa. But after original couple Meg and Dejon were dumped by their former co-stars in brutal scenes on Sunday, it sparked an angry reaction from some fans. ‌ Some viewers now believe that these annoyed fans will do what they can to ensure neither Toni, Shakira or Yas win the show with their partner, amid a long-running 'feud' with Meg, after seeing some comments on social media suggesting a tactical vote was underway. According to the comments, there's a push for votes for Angel and Ty to win over the others. Now fans think an 'error' on their own part may allow this to happen, and it could cost either Toni, Shakira or Yas the prize money. While only one couple can win and fans seem pretty divided over who should get it, viewers suggested that this split vote would mean there is no majority for any of the couples, and that the votes for each pairing will be very close in numbers. ‌ Fans commented that it could cost Toni and Yas the chance to win the show, as if the vote is hugely split between them as well as there being an apparent tactical vote against them, it could mean Angel and Ty prove the most popular in the overall votes. Taking to social media, many fans guessed that in a surprise, Angel and Ty would walk away with the £50,000. One viewer posted: "I have a feeling that Ty and Angel will win." Another said: "Good luck Toni & Cach although Angel & Ty will win," as a third agreed: "Angel and Ty will probs win this." On the voting split mistake fans could trigger, one viewer said: "We're gonna end up splitting the vote. Angel & Ty will win." ‌ It comes following the announcement that the All Stars series will return, as single Islanders from across the 10 years of the show will head to the famous Villa in South Africa, but this time they'll be in the villa for six weeks instead of five. Speaking on the renewal, Mike Spencer-Hayter, Creative Director at Lifted Entertainment, said: 'Love Island: All Stars has quickly established itself as a stand-alone hit, keeping fans of the show gripped by iconic Islanders from the past 10 years returning for another chance to find love. "We are very excited about series 3 and you can expect the twists and turns to continue in All Stars, after an incredible smash hit summer series.' The second series of Love Island: All Stars aired earlier this year, and was won by Gabby Allen and Case O'Gorman. The series also saw the reunion of Ronnie Vint and Harriet Blackmore - but it didn't come without complaints. In February, the show lodged over 2,000 complaints to Ofcom in its final week, as fans fumed at various stars for their "bullying behaviour". On February 12, there were 1,347 complaints, followed by 820 on February 11, 63 on February 13 and 57 on February 16. The February 12 episode saw Ekin-Su and Elma clash over the latter's comment about Ekin-Su and Curtis having the weakest connection. Things only got worse between the group when Ekin-Su had kissed Sammy during the heart rate challenge. During the argument, an angry Elma swore at Ekin-Su and Curtis and told them to "shut their mouths".

Love Island icon's bombshell revelations about one finalist - 'Walking red flag of a man'

Montana Brown has dropped some very juicy information about Harry - moments before this year's Love Island final airs and the winners are crowned Love Island legend Montana Brown has 'spilled the tea' on this year's contestant Harry Cooksley moments before tonight's final airs on ITV. ‌ The 29-year-old took to TikTok to tell her 581,000 followers some very juicy info on the villa lothario, who is currently coupled up with Shakira Khan. Dishing the dirt on the 30-year-old footballer, the mum-of-two has claimed Harry was actually dating one of her friends right before he went on the dating show. ‌ Urging fans not to vote for the 'walking red flag of a man', she said on a video: "Guys, I've not been involved in the whole Love Island chat. But I know tonight is the final - so this is the tea, right. ‌ "Harry was literally seeing someone that I knew, one of my good friends, right before he went on Love Island. He wrote her a letter and said, 'Oh my gosh. I know you're going to be really surprised at this, but I still love you and, you know, we're going to be together. And I just need to sort my head out.' You know, all of this crap." Getting more worked up, Montana continued: "And now, I'm like, this guy cannot win! Although, I love Shakira. From what I've seen of her, she's incredible. "So I think we just have to think about - let's save Shakira and not let them win. Because he will just grab the money and run from what we know about him. So that's the tea from me." ‌ Revealing the excuse Harry gave her friend instead of being honest about going on Love Island, Montana added: "Also, he told my friend he was going to Bali. Need I say more?!" However, some fans questioned the timing of the video - and wished Montana had said something sooner. One commented: "Montana the vote opened yesterday - it's too late for this info!" ‌ Another wrote: "Too late, I already voted for Shakira!" A third asked: "Why is Montana only saying this now on the night of the final? She could have said it two months ago..." A fourth asked: "Didn't he write a letter to his ex Emma stating something similar before going on? She said she thought he meant he was going to rehab." A fifth jokingly asked: "How many love letters is this man going to write?" While a sixth posted: "This information needs to reach Shakira's mum." ‌ But others were still 'team Harry', with one Love Island fan saying: "Harry has made this season, he's an inspiration, he has to win." Another wrote: "Harry for the win!" A third observed: "I don't get all these stunning girls going for Harry lol, although past week he's kinda won me over a bit." Love Island's finale, which airs from 9pm tonight, looks set to be a belter. After weeks of drama under the Spanish sun, the four final couples will be treated to one last date before finding out who will be declared the winners - and waltz off with the £50,000 prize money. Host Maya Jama will be in charge of proceedings as Harry and Shakira battle it out against Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes, Angel Swift and Toni Laites and Cach Mercer to be crowned the 2025 winners. Harry and Shakira are currently favourites to win, according to bookies. This may surprise some viewers, especially as they are one of the newer couples to snuggle up after weeks of exploring other connections. But will people still vote for him after Montana's 'spill the tea' video...

Love Island couple reveal they are being kept apart after fiery Jury vote on the ITV2 show

A LOVE Island couple are seemingly being kept apart following the explosive Jury challenge on the show. This year's former Islanders all made a comeback to the villa to cast their thoughts on the final few couples. 4 4 As part of their task, they all had to pick whether to dump Angel and Ty from the show or Meg and Dejon. With the majority choosing to axe long-standing couple Meg and Dejon, the duo were sent packing amid their dimming popularity with show viewers. But now one Islander has appeared to confirm that he is being kept apart from his girlfriend when not filming for the show in Majorca. Harrison Solomon and Lauren Wood appeared to find love on the show amid a messy love triangle with now finalist Toni. The hunky footballer quit the villa amid a fall-out with Toni and in a bid to reconcile with Lauren. The couple have been seemingly inseparable ever since but in a new TikTok live, Harrison told how he wasn't staying with Lauren. With the Islanders still all in Majorca following the vote, Harrison told his fans that he wasn't in the same villa as his girlfriend. He said in the clip: "I can't go outside and see Lauren man. "She's in another villa which is like an hour away from me. "She is miles away." Love Island 2025 is the sauciest season for nearly a decade Instead, Harrison appeared to be enjoying some down-time with his fellow Love Island boys. Before confirming they were apart, Harrison appeared to have a slip of the tongue when he confused his girlfriend's name for his long-running villa love interest, Toni. While answering a fan question, he said: "I can't go outside and see Toni..." He quickly realised his mistake and corrected himself. Earlier in the series, viewers watched Lauren be dumped from the villa in a brutal twist. She begged Harrison to leave alongside her - but he wasn't sure and decided to sleep on it. However, just a day later, he decided to voluntarily walk away from the villa. 4 4
