Donald Trump deserves praise for having the nerve to meet Vladimir Putin face-to-face

Don's noble & fearless Not everyone will like me after I write this. But, then, some didn't like me even before I wrote this. Let's praise Donald. Thank him. Respect him. Who else had the gizzard, nerves, smarts to stand face-to-face to Satan's lying teeth in front of the world? Some don't believe in God, unsure about Buddha or Allah. OK. You don't like Donald? OK. But who else?! Biden — who's still looking where to pee? New Jersey's Menendez, who's now in the can? Even the Statue of Liberty shivered over Barack. Advertisement The whole world is scared. People tremble before asking bosses for a raise. Students cry before a test. Realtors just raise the rent. Nobody, nobody, not one body, has the gonads — besides Donald — to risk this risk. Don't like him? So? Mazel tov. Who else? Advertisement Who cares? You belch he's a dictator, too egotistical. So? Some things are in the veins. I share my home with a Yorkie. Name? Jellybean. I love him insanely. Jellybean's been housebroken for six years. He STILL pees on my kitchen floor. How about Adam Bullschiff who's now in the government's crosshairs. Him you like? Or Bernie Sanders, who specializes only in spitting? Slamdamnhammy, who has money yet lives in a cheapo apartment. That three-named ex-bartender who hit the Met Gala in an unpaid-for gown? These three blind mice are your selections? Them you like better? Dear leader Who you want to lead us? Another 'cold, austere, forbidding' John Quincy Adams, who did zip? Another Millard Fillmore, who thought slavery's not worth a civil war? Benjamin Harrison? Wore gloves before shaking hands? Coolidge? What did he do? Advertisement I don't hang around Mar-a-Lago like certain ancient leftovers hoping he'll notice and give them an ambassadorship in downtown Toiletville. But the man I have known for over 50 years, are we in touch? Yes. Quietly. By phone. By notes. By mail. Who else has the nerve, guts, strength, fearlessness to do this in the face of the entire world? How about the terrors of the rest of all of us? Afraid to take the subway. Afraid to walk alone at night. Afraid of the world. Sitting home watching TV eating your curds and whey while Donald — alone — is willing to risk? Remember Bush? Threw up on Japan's prime minister. Nixon? Well, forget Nixon. Bill Clinton's hobbies we know about. Advertisement So you say this one's a showoff? Yeah. So? He doesn't smoke. Doesn't drink. Has respectful children. He's redoing the White House, which hasn't been done since Sitting Bull sat up. He's disinfecting Washington, which makes today's Bed-Stuy look like Kiev. And the Dem donkeys — another word for donkeys is 'asses' — are knocking him? Dems da breaks Prefer another druggy Hunter type in the White House? More Secret Service bodies who shiver, quiver and can't notice a nearby shooter with a rifle? Jerk and Jill, who'd run up the hill to fetch another kettle of hair bleach? Citizenship in those nice places like Venezuela, Syria, Russia? Go. Send me a postcard from your cell. Steve Buscemi once said this: 'My favorite review described me as 'the cinematic equivalent of junk mail.' ' Our twice elected — fearless — Donald is doing. Trying. He should be applauded.

Kim Kardashian ditches her signature dark hair for new color

Kim Kardashian may no longer be "keeping up" with her dark hair color. The "Kardashians" star took to Instagram on Friday, Aug. 15, with a photo soft-launching a possible return to blonde locks in a selfie featuring her pouted lips and a hair clip attached at the top of the fashion icon's forehead. "About that time," Kardashian captioned the post. City Girls rapper JT commented, "Favorite color on you!" Kardashian's hairstylist, Chris Appleton, wrote, "The best," as the "Your Roots Don't Define You" author added a white heart emoji. Met Gala 2022: Kim Kardashian channels Marilyn Monroe When did Kim Kardashian previously have blonde hair? The Skims founder has previously embraced blonde hair. In 2022, Kardashian channeled American beauty icon and blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe's hairstyle while at that year's Met Gala. Kardashian sparked backlash when she borrowed the original skin-tight, sparkling Bob Mackie dress that Marilyn Monroe wore to sing "Happy Birthday" to President John F. Kennedy, nearly 60 years to the day after the iconic actress first did. She wore a tight, bleach blonde bun for the occasion, just two days after showing off flowing, dark hair at the White House Correspondents' Dinner with her then-boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson, during their red carpet debut. Then, two years later, she brought blonde back again for the Met Gala's 2024 edition with a platinum blonde look. Kardashian shimmered in a floral Maison Margiela dress by John Galliano as the gown's metallic silver sheen gave an ultramodern spin on "The Garden of Time" dress code. But the highlight of the night's look was her surprising hair choice: the platinum locks, parted and worn down. Contributing: Edward Segarra & Hannah Yasharoff/ USA TODAY

Kim Kardashian Trades Her Natural Dark Hair for Bombshell Blonde in Dramatic Transformation: ‘About That Time'

NEED TO KNOW Kim Kardashian shared an Instagram post on Aug. 15 revealing that she has blonde hair again She captioned her post, "About that time" Kardashian has gone blonde several times in recent years and went platinum at the 2024 Met Gala Kim Kardashian is ditching her dark hair for blonde yet again! In a Friday, Aug. 15, Instagram post, the Kardashians star, 44, shared a photo that showed her in the process of getting her hair styled. Instead of her natural glossy, dark locks she's been rocking as of late, Kardashian's hair is now an ash blonde with root shadow. The SKIMS founder's hair was half styled into loose braids and had a silver clip to keep a section of her hair in place. Kardashian puckered her lips and gave the camera a smoldering look. "About that time," she captioned the image, adding a blonde-haired woman emoji. Though the reality TV star didn't reveal if the new hair change was a wig, the background of the picture showed several rows of hair extensions that matched her new and improved hair color. Kardashian has gone blonde several times over the past few years. In 2024, she sported a bright platinum blonde shade for the Met Gala to celebrate the opening of the "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. She paired the platinum blonde hair with a sheer Margiela by John Galliano dress featuring a lace train with floral accents. The dress also had a silver corset that shrank her waist by several inches. In 2023, Kardashian surprised fans by briefly going honey blonde at the GQ Men of the Year event. She wore the honey blonde hair parted down the middle and styled straight, allowing the hair to hang down to the middle of her back. She coupled the transformation with a chocolate brown Chrome Hearts halter-neck dress. The 2022 Met Gala saw Kardashian going platinum blonde yet again, this time, to channel Marilyn Monroe for the opening of the "In America: An Anthology of Fashion" at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She wore her hair slicked back into a tight bun and wore the exact dress that Monroe wore while singing "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" to John F. Kennedy for his 45th birthday in 1962. In her sister Kylie Jenner's Married to the Met video, Kardashian revealed that the platinum blonde transformation took her 14 hours to achieve. Her hairstylist, Chris Appleton, later told Vogue that the hair change was also done to honor Monroe. "The hair look was simple to highlight the platinum color, giving the hair color and dress the attention," Appleton told the outlet at the time. "I wanted it to be iconic to Marilyn, but also iconic to Kim when she has her blonde moment." Read the original article on People
