Scottie Scheffler is flipping the golf world on its head right now. The World No. 1 is not just winning, he's dominating. With performances like his latest win at the Memorial Tournament, golf fans and analysts everywhere can't stop talking about him. Even outside the usual golf circles, Scheffler is stealing the spotlight, including on 'The Pat McAfee Show.'

On an episode on Monday, ESPN's Marty Smith joined the show and brought some serious praise for Scheffler. While chatting with McAfee, Smith didn't hold back.
'If Scheffler is not such an overwhelming favorite [at Oakmont], we're talking Tiger Woods at his highest powers type of favorite, then they're not doing it right,' Smith said, calling Scheffler's precision 'historic and remarkable.'

McAfee, before the discussion with his usual high-energy, bantered with Smith, 'Don't put that ball in the woods, okay? Somebody will come scoop that up and act like they're you!'
Scheffler's latest victory came at Muirfield Village, where he defended his title at the Memorial Tournament, winning by four strokes. With that, he became only the second repeat winner after Tiger Woods, who last did it more than two decades ago.

It was Scheffler's third win in his last four starts and his 16th PGA Tour title overall and it's no wonder he's being compared to the 'Greatest Of All Time' golfer.
When asked about dominance, Scheffler humbly said per Business Today, 'I never think about dominating... I'm just trying to be the best that I can be and work hard.'
With the U.S. Open around the corner, Scheffler's form is peaking at just the right time and it's clear that everyone, even the big sports talk shows, are watching.

The college football season, set to kick off in August, will culminate with the College Football Playoff national championship game in Miami on Jan. 19. A five-week bowl season begins Dec. 13 with a noon ET kickoff in Atlanta in the Cricket Celebration Bowl, but cheer up grasshopper, there are 44 total games scheduled to be played after conference title games are in the books. A team who doesn't receive a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff has the potential to play games in six consecutive months, with 17 possible games for teams participating in conference championship games in December. The marquee games in the College Football Playoff are scheduled to begin Friday, Dec. 19 with one game and continue with three more Saturday, Dec. 20.
