Goddess Padmavathi takes a ride on Swarna Ratham
Tirupati: As a part of the ongoing three-day annual Vasanthotsavams in Tiruchanur, Sri Padmavathi Devi took celestial ride on Swarna Ratham on Monday.
Seated majestically on the golden chariot, Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru took a celestial ride to bless her devotees. As the rays of the Sun fell on the Ratham, it enhanced the grandeur of the Golden chariot.
Later in the afternoon, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed in Friday Gardens.

Devotees throng Govindaraja Swamy temple for Rathotsavam
Hundreds of devotees on Monday witnessed 'Rathotsavam', the chariot festival, on the eighth day of the annual Brahmotsavam at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati. The 'Rathotsavam' started at 6.15 am at the temple premises, passed through Karnala Street, Beri Street, and Gandhi Road, and returned to the temple's ratha mandapam. A large number of devotees pulled the chariot chanting the name of Lord Govinda. According to the priests, human body is like a chariot, soul is the owner, wisdom is the driver, mind is the reins, senses are the horses, and the rest everything is compared to the streets. In this way, they explained the philosophy in the chariot festival by saying that the physical body is different from the subtle body, as well as the soul. From 10.00 am to 12 noon, Snapana Tirumanjanam ceremony was held for the utsav idols of Sridevi, Bhudevi, Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Nammalwar with milk, curd, honey, sandalwood, and various fruit juices. Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, officers from various departments of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), and a large number of devotees participated in the Rathotsavam.

Vasanthotsavams in Tiruchanoor concludes
Tirupati: The three-day annual Vasanthotsavams at the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanoor concluded on Tuesday. The SnapanaTirumanjanam was performed from 2.30pm to 4.30 pm. As part of this, Abhishekam was performed with turmeric, saffron, milk, curd, honey, sandalwood and various fruit juices. TTD temple priests Babu Swamy, Deputy EO Govinda Rajan, AEO Chiranjeevulu, Superintendent Ramesh, temple inspector Chalapathy, Subbarayudu and a large number of devotees participated.
