USA Today2 days ago
The countdown to USC's 2025 football season is officially on! The Trojans kick off their new campaign 17 days from today. You need something to help you while away the days and hours in the spring and summer. This is one way to do so. In this new series, countdown to kickoff, we will be counting down the days by highlighting a notable Trojan who wore each number. Today, we look at former USC cornerback Christian Roland-Wallace.
Position: Cornerback
Years played at USC: 2023
Career highlights: Roland-Wallace spent his first four seasons of college football at Arizona, playing against USC four times during that stretch. He transferred to the Trojans for his final year of eligibility in 2023 and started at cornerback that season. Roland-Wallace finished his lone year in Cardinal and Gold with 37 tackles, nine passes defended, and two interceptions.
After USC: Roland-Wallace signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft. He impressed in camp and made Kansas City's 53-man roster, appearing in all 17 regular season games and all three of the team's postseason contests—including Super Bowl LIX. He finished his rookie season with 34 total tackles, one pass defended, one interception, and one forced fumble.
Roland-Wallace will look to once again play a key role in the Chiefs' secondary this fall.
