The UFC is ending its pay-per-view model in 2026 and will instead opt to send all fights in the United States to the Paramount+ streaming app. This landmark deal was struck between Paramount Skydance, the merged company that CEO David Ellison just took over.
The new deal will effectively remove the UFC Fight Nights and the pay-per-view events from ESPN and ESPN+, and move them to Paramount+, where fans can watch all fights at no additional charge. Some fights will also be highlighted on CBS.
This new deal is said to be valued at $1.1 billion, with an overall value of $7.7 billion over that period, according to Variety.

Emanuel, executive chair and CEO of TKO, said in a statement, "This is a milestone moment and landmark deal for UFC, solidifying its position as a preeminent global sports asset. Our decade-long journey with UFC has been defined by continuous growth and expansion, and this agreement is an important realization of our strategy. We believe wholeheartedly in David's vision and look forward to being in business with a company that will prioritize technology as a means to enhance storytelling and the overall viewing experience."

UFC CEO Dana White also made a statement on the deal, stating:
"The historic deal with Paramount and CBS is incredible for UFC fans and our athletes. For the first time ever, fans in the US will have access to all the UFC content without a Pay-Per-View model, making it more affordable and accessible to view the greatest fights on a massive platform. This deal puts UFC amongst the biggest sports in the world. The exposure provided by the Paramount and CBS networks under this new structure is a huge win for our athletes and anyone who watches and loves this sport."
This is a massive deal for MMA fans, as they will only have to subscribe to the Paramount+ app to enjoy the 13 annual numbered events that were previously charging around $69.99 to watch, and the 30 Fight Night events as well.
ESPN is losing the UFC in 2026, but the company is also picking up WWE streaming, which could be why the new deal was set in place.
There is no telling if the Paramount+ app will increase prices considering the UFC events will arrive in 2026.

Here's MMAmania.com's UFC 319 betting odds ‘Weekend Lock' … what's yours?

UFC 319 is less than 24 hours away … It all goes down this weekend (Sat., Aug. 16, 2025) inside the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. In the UFC 319 main event, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis defends his title for the third time against the oncoming force Khamzat Chimaev, in one of the biggest fights of 2025. We have a weekly series at called 'Weekend Lock,' where we share one bet that we predict will slap in 'Chi-Town' when the chaotic dust settles. We also want to hear what our readers think (that's you!), so please tell us your most confident UFC 319 betting lock in the comments section below (full UFC Vegas 319 odds here). Last week's recap: Our UFC Vegas 109 lock cashed as Anthony Hernandez absolutely dogwalked Roman Dolidze for four rounds until he eventually strangled him, becoming the first fight to finish the Georgian fighter (watch highlights). Let's keep on, keeping on below: The UFC 319 'Prelims' features a very fun Middleweight fight between Michal Oleksiejczuk and Gerald Meerschaert, and the fight should be absolute chaos for as long as it lasts … which is a teaser for my Weekend Lock. This week, I'm locking in Oleksiejczuk/Meerschaert – Fight to Not Go the Distance at -380. Oleksiejczuk is an offensive buzzsaw with fight-ending power in both hands. The Polish striker is a notoriously fast starter, with 15 of his 19 career wins coming via knockout — most of them in the first round. He doesn't waste time feeling out his opponents; he pressures, throws in volume, and swings to end it. On the other side, Meerschaert has made a career out of being the Middleweight division's guillotine — if you leave your neck exposed, he'll snatch it. 'GM3' owns the most submissions in UFC Middleweight history (11), most finishes in UFC Middleweight division history (11), and thrives in messy grappling exchanges. When he wins, it's almost always inside the distance, and when he loses, it's typically via KO/TKO. Both men share one thing: they rarely hear the final horn. Oleksiejczuk's aggressive style makes scorecards a myth, while Meerschaert's kill-or-be-killed approach almost guarantees a finish one way or the other. Whether it's Oleksiejczuk landing a clean left hand early or Meerschaert capitalizing on a scramble to lock up a choke, this fight is tailor-made for an early ending. Oleksiejczuk is favored to win (-238) and knock 'GM3' out (-115), but honestly, Meerschaert's durability has somehow gotten better and is always there to grab a submission late; also, Oleksiejczuk has been tapped in two of his last three losses Just like last week, this bet is chalk, but it's the kind of chalk that's going to cash, and can be slotted into a parlay if that's what you want to do, because someone is getting stopped in this fight. While the track records are overwhelmingly in our favor, MMA is unpredictable. If Oleksiejczuk gets overly cautious after getting caught by Meerschaert or 'GM3' decides to play it safer than usual, we could see more cage control and less chaos. Still, history suggests otherwise — these two just aren't wired for 15-minute affairs. For what it's worth, this X/Twitter user is riding with Oleksiejczuk. Underrated? Paul Finebaum, Heather Dinich discuss Clemson football ranking in Coaches Poll

Monday's release of the preseason US LBM Coaches Poll offered the first real window into how many teams are viewed as bonafide College Football Playoff contenders entering the 2025 season. The Clemson Tigers were safely in the top 10, checking in at No. 6 in the preseason top 25 poll. Clemson ranked one spot behind Notre Dame to land just outside the top five but were one spot ahead of last year's No. 1 overall seed entering the College Football Playoff: the Oregon Ducks. Some analysts feel the Tigers are ranked a bit too low. CBS Sports' Will Backus on Monday put Dabo Swinney's team atop his list of underrated teams from the coaches' top 25 rankings. Two other prominent college football voices have weighed in with their assessment of the Tigers' No. 6 ranking, as well: ESPN's Heather Dinich and Paul Finebaum. The two appeared on Tuesday's edition of "Get Up" and agreed that Clemson deserves a top-5 ranking. "Clemson is underrated," Dinich exclaimed. "Why are we not talking more about the Clemson Tigers and Dabo Swinney? This is the year. They have all the pieces in place to return to national relevance in the College Football Playoff and make a deep run. "You look at Cade Klubnik. He is a projected No. 1 pick in (ESPN NFL Draft analyst) Jordan Reid's latest 2026 mock draft. He's got one of the best defensive lines in the country and multiple receivers to throw it to. This is a team that should be getting more credit." Finebaum agreed that the Tigers were underrated in Monday's preseason poll but brought up Clemson's 0-3 record against SEC teams last season. "Clemson is outstanding. I think they are underrated, but the problem with Clemson is that they lost to Georgia badly at the beginning of last year. They lost, at home, to South Carolina. They looked average in their playoff game (at Texas), so it's hard to wrap one's arm around them right now." --Paul Finebaum, ESPN Preseason US LBM Coaches Poll Top 25 Rank Team Points Final Rank 2024 1 Texas 1,606 (28) 3 2 Ohio State 1,565 (20) 1 3 Penn State 1,525 (14) 5 4 Georgia 1,466 (3) 6 5 Notre Dame 1,360 2 6 Clemson 1,324 (2) 11 7 Oregon 1,307 4 8 Alabama 1,210 17 9 LSU 1,056 NR 10 Miami (FL) 823 18 11 Arizona State 806 7 12 Illinois 734 16 13 South Carolina 665 19 14 Michigan 580 NR 15 Mississippi 573 13 16 SMU 555 11 17 Florida 498 NR 18 Tennessee 492 8 19 Indiana 460 10 20 Kansas State 438 NR 21 Texas A&M 392 NR 21 Iowa State 392 15 23 BYU 287 14 24 Texas Tech 261 NR 25 Boise State 246 9 Clemson football schedule 2025 Clemson opens the 2025 season against the LSU Tigers at Memorial Stadium in prime time on Aug. 30.
