Abbey Clancy didn't mince her words when she delivered a sharp two-word putdown to her husband Peter Crouch during a discussion about a contentious issue between them.
On their podcast, The Therapy Crouch, a listener inquired if he should inform his wife about an upcoming golf holiday. This followed Abbey's decision to veto Peter's own golf plans because she "had tickets to see Simply Red".

The 39-year-old model revealed that she found out about the trip after "snooping" on Peter's phone. While addressing the listener's dilemma on their podcast, Abbey questioned: "I want to know why the hell he thinks it's acceptable to go on multiple golf trips."

Peter suggested that the listener was "happy in their relationship", despite Abbey's suspicion that he was trying to "hide the trip" from his wife.
Ex-Liverpool forward Peter then quipped that the man was simply "thinking about his wife's health". This was in reference to the listener's joke about revealing his trips late so his partner "doesn't have a long time to fret"

Abbey challenged: "If it was that right for men to do these golf trips all the time, why's there such a fuss about the lying?"
To which Peter reassured her the listener "wasn't lying". Abbey however insisted the man could simply take his wife on the all-inclusive trip to Turkey.
However, Peter countered that being too upfront could get him in trouble with his friends, saying: "It's not how it's done, it's literally not how it's done. He'd get ripped for the rest of his life, the rest of his days.

"I think it's a very happy medium. I think tell her so far in advance she forgets. So when you remind her, she's reminded that you told her."
Abbey responded with annoyance, saying: "You're disgusting. Why are men so desperate to get away from us?" Peter jokingly replied, "We're not, sometimes you just need to go and play golf."

The conversation began when Abbey told Peter he would have to miss a golf trip to see Simply Red with her in Amsterdam. Peter quipped: "You've got 10 girlfriends haven't you?" But Abbey shot back: "No, it's not happening."
The couple has discussed their differing hobbies before, with Abbey mentioning that they lead "living separate lives" outside of their podcast. She enjoys horse riding, while Peter prefers playing golf.
Peter recently shared a story about a breakthrough moment on the golf course, saying: "I actually played golf the other day and it was like, I took my jumper off and put on the T-shirt. For me, that's groundbreaking. It really is, because I've been through some sh** this year. I've been out there in f***ing all sorts of weather. And for me to just put that T-shirt on, it's just phenomenal."

Abbey interjected: "I can't listen to this anymore. This golf stuff. We live separate lives now. He goes to golf and I go horse riding, and then we meet at the end."
Peter defended: "I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Like, not every day, because we need to do stuff together as well. But I think some part of the week, I think that's a totally healthy relationship."
Abbey concurred: "It is, because I've never been happier."

Peter Crouch begs ‘can everyone not share this' as fan catches absolutely TERRIBLE golf shot on camera

PETER CROUCH has begged fans to stop sharing viral footage of his disastrous attempts at playing golf. The former England striker took advantage of the sunny weather by hitting the fairways over the weekend. 2 Crouch, 44, hung up his boots in 2019 after a two-decade career. But it doesn't look like he's been working hard on his swing over the past six years. The 6ft7 striker is seen teeing off in the viral clip, with members watching on from the clubhouse. One watching spectator is heard to say: "Yeah, he's a golfer, you can tell, can't you?" A pal laughs in response: "No, he's definitely a footballer." Crouch went on to prove the fan right by producing a shocker of a tee shot. After a nervy practice swing, the former Stoke and Liverpool forward addressed the ball. But he succeeded in only topping his drive off the tee, with the ball bouncing miserably into nearby trees. A mortified Crouch captioned the footage: "Can everyone not share this pls[sic]. Kind regards." As expected, his pleas fell on deaf ears, with the clip viewed 4 million times in under 12 hours on X. One fan laughed in response: "Stick to the miserable Tuesday nights in Stoke Crouchy. Leave the sunny days on the golf course, to those who know how to play." And a second pointed out: "You just shared it though?" A third added: "The fact that you've shared this makes it 10x funnier. Never change crouchy." While a fourth joked: "He's big! He's red! He should try bowls instead!" Crouch earned 42 caps for England across his career, netting 22 goals. Since retiring, he's launched a successful podcast alongside wife Abbey Clancy and has worked as a pundit for TNT Sports.
