Shalini Ajith Kumar took to her Instagram account to share a video that shows her and Ajith Kumar cutting a chocolate cake. They are seated on a sofa, with a cake placed on the table in front of them. They were all smiles as they cut the cake, and fed it to each other. While Ajith Kumar looked dapper in a blue shirt and black pants, Shalini donned a blue kurta and matching leggings for the occasion. She shared the video with several sparkle and red heart emojis. So, the production unit asked me to convince her. So, I called Shalini and said, 'I am Ajith Kumar speaking. I would like to work with you. The production side is also very keen.' But she told me 'No. I am not interested in acting.' I had to convince her a lot. A lot. Then we dropped the plan. Then, later on, producers convinced her, and she committed herself to the film. I think we were destined to meet."
