This Morning viewers jeer 'this is car crash TV!' as Real Housewives Of London intros go seriously wrong in 'embarrassing and cringe' live interview
This Morning viewers called the Real Housewives Of London intros on Monday's show 'car crash TV' as they went seriously wrong live on air. Juliet Angus, Amanda Caroline Cronin, Karen Loderick-Peace, Juliet Mayhew, Panthea Parker and Nessie Welschinger appeared on the most recent episode of the ITV programme to chat to hosts Craig Doyle, 54, and Sian Welby, 38, about the brand new Hayu series. Real Housewives of London premiered on the popular streaming service on Monday (18 August 2025) - and viewers will be treated to an episode weekly. The presenters gave the six stars a chance to introduce themselves to those watching at home, but it didn't go to plan. Karen was first up and she didn't look down the correct camera, leading her to repeat her introduction from scratch. 'Oh! Good morning!' Karen said. 'My name is Karen Loderick-Peace and I am a fashion designer, mother of three and I'm originally from Jamaica.' Craig said: 'There you go! One for TV, one for the gram.' Panthea was up next, followed by Amanda, who also messed up her lines after realising that she was also looking at the wrong camera. She restarted her intro and she was heard to hear because the rest of her co-stars were laughing over her. The reality star restarted hers three times before saying: 'Good morning, I am Amanda Caroline. I am a mother of one. I live in Belgravia and I am CEO and founder of Amanda Caroline's skincare.' Many rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share how much they were cringing over the segment. 'Car crash tv!! #ThisMorning.' 'Good to see this has all been rehearsed in advance.' 'This intro of the Real Housewives of London women is cringe!' '#thismorning give me strength.' 'This is embarrassing #thismorning.' 'Oh Christ.' 'What is this. A hot mess #ThisMorning.' '#ThisMorning good Lord this is cringe.' Last week the cast teased 'volcanic' levels of drama and admitted 'this city is a cruel mistress' in a series of glamorous intro videos. A set of clips, which invited viewers to 'meet the wives' offered an insight into the larger-than-life characters at the heart of London's social scene. The series promises champagne-fuelled catfights and caviar aplenty in the city's wealthiest neighbourhoods. 'I think the Housewives breed takes a special kind of person,' upcoming London housewife Juliet Angus told RadioTimes. 'Every one of these girls has that quality - no-holds-barred, very honest and straightforward and fun and wild, and you don't know what you're going to get.' The ladies told the outlet that viewers should expect the 'unexpected,' likening the dramatic scenes to a 'volcano'. The Real Housewives franchise, which started in 2006, includes stars from Beverly Hills, Atlanta, New York and Cheshire.

Princess Andre addresses Katie Price birthday 'snub' after dad's furious statement
Princess Andre has spoken out about the so-called 'birthday row' following her dad Peter Andre's statement, clarifying why her mum Katie Price wasn't part of the occasion Princess Andre has set the record straight after claims that her mum Katie Price was banned from her 18th birthday soiree amid growing tensions with her ex Peter Andre. The birthday bash, which seemingly sparked the latest row between Katie and Peter, saw Princess celebrate with her dad and other family members as the cameras rolled for her new reality show, The Princess Diaries. Just before the docu-series aired, Katie admitted she was "upset" over not being at the party. She said on her podcast: "Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me. It's pathetic. I'm her mother. It's sad ... Princess was like 'I'm having a party'. And I wasn't invited because it was for 'filming.'" But Princess, who turned 18 in June, has said that stories suggesting she deliberately excluded her mum from her televised celebration are misleading. The teen insisted that it wasn't a deliberate snub to exclude Katie, 47. The influencer said simply that she was living with her dad when filming took place, so it was he who naturally appeared in the show more frequently. "It was never true that I said I didn't want her in it," she told The Guardian in a new interview. When asked about the birthday party, Princess described how the concept of her having two separate celebrations - meaning spending time with each parent - was standard for her life after their split. Her mother wasn't invited to the intimate family gathering with her father, but she said: "It would be quite strange for my mum and dad to be in it at the same time." Katie Price and Peter Andre have been at loggerheads since their split in 2009. The TV couple had been married for four years, and had welcomed children Junior and Princess after meeting on ITV's I'm A Celeb in 2004. Princess's comments come in the wake of her father's surprise public response to claims made by Katie Price about their children's living arrangements. In a scathing statement, Peter stated that Princess and her brother Junior have lived with him "for safety reasons" since 2018. Posting on Instagram, the father-of-five broke what he described as 16 years of silence, writing: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today. "The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. "In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months." In response to the statement, a spokesperson for Katie told the Mirror: "Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation. This was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit-for-tat comments, but more importantly, she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers' hands. Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was..."

Sophie Kasaei takes swipe at Towie's Ella Rae Wise after explosive row erupts
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SOPHIE Kasaei has taken a swipe at Towie's Ella Rae Wise after their explosive row. The Only Way is Essex season 36 kicked off in style last night and saw the cast locked in an almighty group row. 6 Sophie Kasaei has taken a swipe at her Towie rival Ella Rae Wise Credit: ITV 6 It came after Ella branded Sophie 'irrelevant' Credit: ITV 6 Last night's opening episode saw an explosive row between the cast Credit: ITV 6 Sophie and her boyfriend Jordan Brook rowed with the other cast Credit: ITV The argument started when Freddie Bentley and Ella revealed their annoyance at certain members of the group failing to support her during her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year. Freddie had sent a group chat message to encourage the cast to post in support of Ella in order to conjure up votes for her stay in the famous house. But with many of them choosing not to, it left a sour taste in Ella and her best pal Freddie's mouths. The main targets of the pair's frustrations appeared to be Sophie and her boyfriend Jordan. Tensions began to reach boiling point as Freddie ranted at Jordan. Sophie then shouted over to Ella: "Ella what's your problem? To which she replied: "I don't really have one, you're irrevant!" Not missing a beat Sophie bite back: "So are you love, and you always will be!" Now the former Geordie Shore star has taken another swipe at her Towie rival. Towie's Ella Rae Wise denies dumping Dan Edgar for CBB as she reveals the 'real reason' for split It came after Sophie made a comment under the new series promo picture on Towie's Instagram of the whole cast together. She wrote: "Don't you worry my girl I'm the only Geordie in the village .' Co-star Saffron Lempriere then replied: 'Well your relevant up and down the country honey x' Sophie replied: ' I'm needed in all postcodes .' Meanwhile, as the tension continued on last night's episode of Towie, Jordan walked over to talk to Ella and insisted that his loyalty to her ex Dan Edgar had prevented him from supporting her in the CBB house. Ella then snapped back: "Do you know what your f***ing best mate did to me before I went in (into the CBB house)?" She then made a reference to Sophie by saying that she would not be happy if Jordan went "on a bender" - implying that Dan's partying was the reason she dumped him. As Sophie joked back that she wouldn't care, Ella hit back: "Yeah, because you are desperate!" Clearly wound-up, Jordan insisted "don't call my bird desperate" as Ella attempted to walk off. Ella and Sophie then began to scream at each other from across the pool as they clashed over Ella's remarks as she insisted Sophie was old and irrelevant. Things were only just beginning as Freddie branded Jordan the problem, leading to a three-way confrontation between him and the couple. Sophie then got very close to Freddie's face as he barked back at her: "What are you gonna do about it - you f*** off!" 6 Sophie was seen shouting at Ella Credit: ITV 6 Ella was left fuming at the argument Credit: ITV Stepping in, Jordan then came into Freddie's face and then launched his body at his co-star to push him out of the way. As Freddie stumbled, Jordan appeared to take another lunge at him as Freddie asked: "Who are you pushing?" The cameras then appeared to cut to a group setting as the scuffle could be heard continuing out of sight. It seemed other cast members had got involved as a security guard's arm could be seen holding Freddie back as Junaid Ahmed also appeared to be escorted away from the scene. Sophie later ranted that they were "so rude" to her face as Jordan bluntly remarked: "Yeah I nearly chinned Freddie but I'm alright." Watch the drama unfold on Towie tonight at 9pm on ITV2
