Paris Hilton brushes off Kanye West's bizarre rant that he 'should've had babies' with her NOT Kim Kardashian

Daily Mail30-04-2025

Paris Hilton brushed off Kanye West 's rude comments about wanting to have children with her as she hit up a party to celebrate another one of her achievements.
The reality TV personality, 44, paid no mind to the remarks from the ex-husband of her longtime best friend Kim Kardashian during his chaotic tirade.
Less than a week later, she walked the hot pink carpet at an Ulta Beauty event to celebrate her 30th fragrance release before hitting up a West Hollywood bar for her launch party.
On Wednesday, she took to her Instagram Story to share photos and videos of her partying with her sister Nicky Hilton on a rooftop bar with the Los Angeles skyline behind her.
At one point, she stepped behind the DJ booth with her friends and even held a bedazzled hairbrush, miming a microphone, as she sang her 2006 hit song, Stars Are Blind.
Over the clips of her having fun, she wrote: 'Icons only b****.'
'So proud of my 30th fragrance Iconic,' she added alongside a teary-eyed emoji and pink hearts.
The star, who has released a considerable number of perfumes over 20 years with her Parlux partnership, sparkled as she was covered in dazzling gems from head to toe.
For the soirée, she donned a bright pink, sequin dress with a plunging neckline and long sleeves.
The dress also featured a thigh-high slit and triangle cutouts on her sides to highlight her slim waist.
Paired with the chic garb, she accessorized with a chunky, silver choker and her manicure was also bedazzled to match.
She gushed about launching her fragrance, which she called a 'dream come true,' per TMZ, and danced to upbeat music along with fellow partygoers.
Her outing came less than a week after West said he wished he had children with her instead of his ex-wife Kardashian.
Hilton appeared unbothered as she performed at the Stagecoach country music festival over the weekend and is also celebrating her latest fragrance launch.
Less than a week after the rapper's comments, she walked the hot pink carpet at an Ulta Beauty event to celebrate her 30th fragrance release before hitting up a West Hollywood bar for her launch party

During her DJ set, she brought out Lizzo, and she was also spotted having fun with pal Sydney Sweeney and aunt Kyle Richards.
Last week, the rapper, who now goes by Ye, made a number of shocking and obscene comments in yet another offensive rant.
During a livestream, he said he wished he could go back in time and have Hilton be his baby mama instead of Kim Kardashian, who was previously Hilton's assistant.
He and The Kardashians star welcomed four children during their past marriage. They share daughters North and Chicago as well as sons Saint and Psalm.
Hilton married businessman Carter Reum in 2021, and they share two children: son Phoenix, two, and 17-month-old daughter London.

Shakira's world tour in turmoil after singer cancels SIX shows... leaving fans outraged

Shakira is currently in hot water with her fans after cancelling a sixth show on her sold-out Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour. Reasons for the multiple cancellations have included hospitalization, safety issues, and technical difficulties. The Colombian singer, 48, recently axed three shows in three days, with the most recent being for a WorldPride show in Washington, DC. Around 5pm EST on Friday, the venue posted a statement reading, 'Due to complications with the previous show in Boston, Shakira's full tour production cannot be transported to Washington, D.C. in time for her scheduled performance at Nationals Park on Saturday, May 31.' Shakira also issued a statement of her own, telling TMZ, 'I have been counting the days, excited to be reunited with my fans in both Washington and Boston, and my team and I have made every effort to make it happen, but it doesn't depend on any one of us right now, and I am devastated that these shows were just not possible this time.' She added, 'I promise that I will do everything in my power to be with you as soon as I can.' It comes after the Hips Don't Lie hitmaker had to cancel two back-to-back shows scheduled for Thursday and Friday at Boston's Fenway Park. The cancellations were due to city inspectors identifying 'structural elements that were not up to standard,' according to TMZ. Fans online haven't taken kindly to the cancellations, with many flooding Shakira's Instagram account with angry comments. 'I traveled with my family from Pittsburgh, took time off work, and paid for an Airbnb — all for this one special occasion. This was supposed to be my daughter's birthday gift,' complained one. 'I've waited 30 years to see you. You wait less than 24 hours to cancel a sold out crowd in Washington DC. I thought highly of you and hoped you had the courtesy to not let your most devoted fans down. I'm heart broken. Lots of people traveled and took time off to see you. This is just gut wrenching,' wrote another. A third commented, 'Terrible! Never again! Second cancellation… first because the venues weren't big enough. Now because they can't bring equipment?! I guess those hips do lie.' A fourth wrote, 'Go out with the musicians and just sing! Without any show if it is impossible to do. I was at a concert where there were problems and the musician just took the pianist and made a concert. Don't leave people at the door. You are rich, and people save up for a trip to you and spend their last money and weekends. There is some kind of empathy. I am honestly in such shock.' Shakira officially kicked off the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour in Brazil back in February. Despite the string of issues, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour has become highest grossing Latin American concert by a female artist Less than a month into the tour, the star postponed a total of four shows in Latin America – one for medical reasons and three due stage production issues. After postponing two back-to-back shows in Chile, Shakira attempted to make it up to her fans by delivering an impromptu performance of Antología from her hotel balcony, where hundreds had gathered to catch a glimpse of the star. She also issued a statement, blaming production problems. 'When an artist travels to a country, their production and team become directly dependent on the local producers,' she explained. 'My staff and I trusted at all times that the production company hired by the local promoter would follow to the letter the specifications that were diligently provided by us so that a show of the magnitude of this one could take place.' She also rescheduled a number of North American dates last year, citing the need to upgrade venues from arenas to stadiums to meet demands. Despite the string of issues, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour has become highest grossing Latin American concert by a female artist, surpassing Karol G's Mañana Será Bonito tour. Her Mexican and South American shows have already grossed a staggering $130 million with just 21 shows. As reported by Billboard, Shakira's is the only Latin tour to reach Top 10 of the 2025 midyear Boxscore Report, ranking number two globally. It falls behind Coldplay, who earned $142 million with 1.3 million people turning up for 20 shows between October 31, 2024 and March 31, 2025.

Parks and Recreation star dies after being fatally shot 'by neighbour'

King of the Hill star Jonathan Joss, who is the voice actor of John Redcorn on the show, tragically died after being shot by a neighbour King of the Hill voice actor Jonathan Joss has died after being shot by a neighbour in Texas. The San Antonio Police Department and onlookers claimed the 59-year-old Parks and Recreation actor got into an argument with his neighbour on the city's south side over the weekend before he was shot. A man called Sigfredo Alvarez-Cega was arrested and charged with murder, with a bond set at $200K, as reported by TMZ. The authorities told the publication that the neighbour pulled out a gun during the argument and shot Joss several times before fleeing in a car, with the police arresting him a block away from the residence. Alvarez-Cega was then taken into custody. Paramedics were called to the scene but couldn't save Joss. As shared in a police report, Joss passed away from 'injuries sustained after multiple gun shots'. The Mirror have reached out to the San Antonio Police Department for comment. Following the release of the news, fans rushed to social media to pay tribute to Joss. One said: "This is absolutely devastating news. Jonathan Joss was such a talented actor, and his iconic roles brought so much joy to so many. What a tragic loss." Another said: "It absolutely shatters my heart to learn of the passing of Jonathan Joss, known and loved by many fans as the voice, heart, spirit, and soul of the character John Redcorn. He made a point to be involved in the fandom, and was so kind to all of us. He will never be forgotten!" Joss' husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, released a statement on the actor's official Facebook page claiming the argument began when the couple were checking the mail "at the site of our former home". "When the man fired, Jonathan pushed me out of the way," he said. "He saved my life. Jonathan is my husband. "He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. "We picked Valentine's Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future," Gonzales posted before adding he was with Joss when he passed and 'told him how much he was loved.' "To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family. My focus now is on protecting Jonathan's legacy and honoring the life we built together," he added. Joss was the voice of John Redcorn on King of the Hill from series two to 13 and even recorded lines for the revival of the animated series. He was also known as Chief Ken Hotate in Parks and Recreation.

King of the Hill actor Jonathan Joss killed in shooting aged 59

Actor Jonathan Joss, best known for voicing John Redcorn in King of the Hill, has died in a shooting. San Antonio police confirmed to Variety that the 59-year-old died on Saturday after an incident. Officers were reportedly dispatched while the shooting was in process and found him near the road. After an attempt to revive him, he was pronounced dead on the scene. The shooter has been detained and TMZ is reporting that it was the result of 'a heated argument' with a neighbour. In January, it had been reported that Joss had lost his home and his two dogs in a fire. He said that the house had been built by his father in the 1950s. 'We may have lost our home, but not our hope,' he wrote on Facebook earlier this year. 'We're moving forward with love, humor, and a little elbow grease…and we're incredibly grateful for every ounce of support.' Joss's early career included an appearance in Walker, Texas Ranger before he landed the role of John Redcorn in Mike Judge and Greg Daniels' hit animated comedy King of the Hill. He was one of the key voices until the show ended after 13 seasons. Other television roles included ER, Charmed, Friday Night Lights, Ray Donovan and a five-episode stint on Parks and Recreation. On the big screen, he was also seen in True Grit, The Magnificent Seven and The Forever Purge. He also known as a musician, performing as part of The Red Corn Band, a reference to his most-known character. Joss had recently posted on Facebook about a performance over the weekend. 'Last night's gig was amazing — huge thanks to everyone who came out and showed us love!' he wrote. 'We're feeling so grateful for the support and good vibes.' He is survived by his husband.
