Rod Stewart has cancelled his Las Vegas concert once again following doctors orders he must rest in order to recover from the flu.
The rock legend, 80, was due to take to the stage on Thursday (June 5) at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The hitmaker hasn't as of yet confirmed a new date.
Posting an Instagram statement on Wednesday, he wrote: 'I'm awfully sorry to have to cancel my show June 5th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
'My doctor ordered a bit more rest while I recover from the flu. Thanks for your love and understanding.'
Rod was forced to reschedule his residency gig on Monday due to the illness, with a new date set for June 10.

He said in a social media statement: 'I am sorry to inform you that I'm not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10. Your tickets will be valid for the new date.'
The Maggie May hitmaker was recently put on vocal rest amid his mammoth One Last Time Tour.
In just 25 days' time, the rock star will play the Sunday afternoon legends slot at Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, south west England.
Last month, Rod was seen with a sign around his neck informing anyone he came into contact with that he could not speak after his concert at Milan's Unipol Forum.
It read: 'Sorry. Cannot talk. Having vocal rest.'
He returned to the stage at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal, three days later on May 13.
The music veteran will be done with 'large-scale world tours' once he finishes this year's shows in Europe and North America.
However, he has no plans to retire.

The 'You Wear It Well' singer wrote on Instagram: 'This will be the end of large-scale world tours for me, but I have no desire to retire.
'I love what I do, and I do what I love. 'I'm fit, have a full head of hair, and can run 100 metres in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79.
'I'd like to move onto a Great American Songbook, Swing Fever tour the year after next – smaller venues and more intimacy. But then again, I may not...'
It comes as Sir Rod is planning a mini-reunion with his band Faces when he takes to the stage for Glastonbury 's Legends slot next month.
Ronnie Wood, who is a close friend of the Maggie May hitmaker and performed alongside him in the 70s, is heading to Worthy Farm for a performance.
Rod himself shared the news during an interview on The Peter Crouch podcast, after he was asked whether he's kept in touch with the Rolling Stones or Sir Elton John.
He replied: 'Not really, but Woody and I do a lot just recently because we are going to do Glastonbury together.'
When asked why they lost touch, Rod said it was because Ronnie and Elton had quit booze, saying: 'I think they stay away from me.'
Rod was tight-lipped when asked whether Faces drummer Kenney Jones will be joining them on-stage.
However, the music legend confirmed in November that he had reunited with his Faces bandmates for a new album.
Speaking on the Soccer A-Z podcast, Rod said: 'I'm meeting up with the last two members of the Faces tomorrow, and we're working on a documentary, because next year will be our 50th anniversary, or 60s.
'I don't know what it is, but when the faces were together, and we're trying to put out an album. So I shall be with Mr. Woods and Mr. Jones.'
Rod and Ronnie have been friends since 1969 when they were both members of rock group Faces.
Although the band parted ways in 1975, the pair kept in touch, with Rod serving as best man to Ronnie's wedding to Sally in 2012.
The Faces - which formed in 1969 - released their final album Ooh La La in 1973, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2012.
The five-piece band formed in 1969 and also included bassist Ronnie Lane, who died in 1997 after battling with multiple sclerosis, and keyboardist Ian McLagan, who died last December following a stroke.
Famous for huge hits such as Stay With Me in 1971 and Ooh La La in 1973, the long-haired rockers also gained a reputation for their off-stage antics involving alcohol, groupies and wrecked hotel rooms.
But with Ronnie departing from the band in 1975 to become a full-time member of the Rolling Stones, Rod eventually dissolved the group officially at the end of that year.
The group previously reunited in 2015, with Rod saying at the time: 'Getting back on stage with the lads playing Stay with Me and other favourites will be a blast and will make this a very special night.
'Being in The Faces was a mad and brilliant time for all of us and although we don't have Ronnie and Mac with us anymore this is our chance to remember them and say Had Me a Real Good Time.'
Kenney added: 'The years of The Faces were some of the best of my life and I'm so proud to have been a part of the band.
The original members were set to reunite for their 2012 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but Rod was forced to pull out of the gig when he came down with the flu.

It's one of the coolest, most entertaining movies you'll probably ever see, but none of that sizzle takes away from its soul. Kosinski precision engineered an eye-popping, edge of your seat pop epic that makes you feel so much. I adored it'. Elsewhere IndieWire's Mike Ryan joked: 'I just saw F1 and apparently it's about race cars and not about a small tornado. But good gosh that was a lot of fun'. In the trailer Brad'c character boasts an attitude and an addiction to gambling with a need for speed on the track. But Javier Bardem wants him to be the best in the world and asks him to team with a young talented driver who lacks experience. There is also romance. Fans went wild for the trailer as they took to the F1 Instagram page to share that the clip gave them 'chills' and was 'awesome' as one added: 'Let's race!' It comes after Brad finally broke his silence on his ugly eight-year Angelina Jolie divorce battle that ended in December after she filed in 2016. The actorwas not venting, however, and instead seemed to try and downplay the legal boxing match that's made headlines for almost a decade. His comments were made in the June issue of GQ magazine as he promoted F1. He said finally seeing the end of their battle was not 'major.' 'No, I don't think it was that major of a thing,' Pitt said. 'Just something coming to fruition. Legally.' Variety's Jazz Tancay commented: 'WOW! is an action-packed thrilling look at the world of F1 racing, with lots of grit Elsewhere IndieWire's Mike Ryan joked: 'I just saw F1 and apparently it's about race cars and not about a small tornado. But good gosh that was a lot of fun' Brad and Angelina , who share six children — Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, Knox, 16, and Vivienne, also 16 — married in 2014 after meeting on the set of Mr And Mrs Smith. He did acknowledge his love life is 'always in the news.' 'It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way,' he told GQ. He now lives at his Los Angeles home with his 32-year-old girlfriend, jewelry executive Ines de Ramon. GQ writer Daniel Riley also asked if he made his red carpet debut with Ines at the 2024 British Grand Prix to drum up publicly for F1. 'No, dude, it's not that calculated,' Pitt laugh. 'If you're living, oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you're living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.' When the GQ writer asked if making F1 was 'a refuge from all the attention' he said, 'Um, I don't see it that way.' 'It's been an annoyance I've had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do,' he said of fame. 'So, it's always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that, I don't know. I don't know. 'Mostly I feel pretty…. My life is fairly contained,' added the ex-husband of Jennifer Aniston. 'It feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am, that, you know, it's like this fly buzzing around a little bit.' He also told GQ that the movie made him happy to be a Hollywood actor. 'Man, I've been doing this for a while and was wondering: Do I have more stories to tell? Do I have anything to add to this? Is there still any excitement I can find from this? It just reinvigorated the whole thing again for me.'
