TNPSC Group 4 Result 2025 Expected Soon: Where And How To Download?

The exam attracted significant competition, with 11.48 lakh out of 13.89 lakh applicants appearing for the test, translating to approximately 287 candidates vying for each post. News18 The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) held the Group 4 examination on July 12 to fill 3,935 positions across various categories such as Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, and Typist. The exam attracted significant competition, with 11.48 lakh out of 13.89 lakh applicants appearing for the test, translating to approximately 287 candidates vying for each post. With an overall success rate of less than 0.35%, only about 3.5 candidates were selected per 1,000. This year's Group 4 exam has been regarded as one of the most challenging in recent times, with candidates and invigilators noting that more than half of the 100 Tamil questions were unusually difficult and deviated from the standard syllabus. Step 1: Visit the official TNPSC website – Step 2: Click on the result link on the homepage. Step 3: Enter the required login credentials such as application number and date of birth. Step 4: The result will appear on the screen. The selection process for the TNPSC Group 4 exam is based solely on a single written examination consisting of 200 questions, with no penalty for incorrect answers. This format often results in luck playing a substantial role in determining outcomes. For example, one candidate may correctly answer 150-160 questions and guess the remaining ones, while another candidate might correctly answer only 50-60 questions and rely heavily on guesswork, sometimes by choosing the same option for all unfamiliar questions. While the difference between candidates scoring 50 and 170 is clear, distinguishing between those scoring 170 and 170.01 is nearly impossible. TNPSC Group IV Exam Pattern: The written exam will last for three hours and include 200 objective-type questions carrying a total of 300 marks. Part A (Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test): 100 questions Part C (Aptitude and Mental Ability): 25 questions While Part A will be in Tamil only, candidates can choose between English or Tamil for Parts B and C Notably, the TNPSC Group IV Exam is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) to recruit candidates for various entry-level administrative posts in the Tamil Nadu state government. Posts Under Group IV Include: Village Administrative Officer (VAO) Junior Assistant (Non-Security and Security) Typist Steno-Typist (Grade III) Junior Revenue Inspector Forest Guard and Forest Watcher Bill Collector, Grade-I Stay updated with the latest education!
