Brooke Hogan shares a heartfelt tribute to her father, Hulk Hogan
In her tribute, Brooke, now Brooke Hogan Oleksy, described the profound impact her father's death had on her. 'When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us,' she wrote, recalling the moment Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, passed away unexpectedly at age 71.
Despite the public perception of a fractured bond, Brooke insisted their connection never truly faded. 'My dad's blood runs through my veins. His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments,' she said. 'We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes.'
Brooke acknowledged stepping away from the relationship in recent years, but she was clear it wasn't due to a single argument or dramatic fallout.
'We never had a 'big fight.' My father and I never 'fought.' It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand,' she explained.
Brooke and her husband, former NHL player Steven Oleksy, even relocated to Florida to be near him during a stretch of nearly 25 surgeries. Yet something changed. 'Then all of a sudden he didn't want me at surgeries… Everything started getting covered in a thick veil,' she wrote.
'It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn't get through.'

After Hulk's death, Brooke discovered her husband's messages, some answered, some not. 'But all of them broke my heart,' she admitted.
Brooke expressed peace in knowing she gave her all. 'He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did,' she wrote.
In her final message, Brooke offered a moving goodbye. 'Thank you for choosing me in this lifetime, and for loving me so deeply. I love you more than stars in the sky, 4LifeAfterLife.'

"Large Indian Pani Puri": Internet Reacts To Viral Giant Rice Ball In Japan
Recently, a food vlogger shared a video on Instagram offering foodies a peek into the preparation process of an enormous ball-shaped delicacy at the Mara Daigaku restaurant in Tokyo. The video shows a person cooking a big ball of dough in a pan filled with a generous amount of oil. With a spatula and a sieve, he continues stirring the dough ball until it takes an enormous shape of a rice ball. Once done, he transfers it into a basket and repeats the process with another dough. Next, the cook serves the riceballs to a customer. When the fluffy riceball was pressed, it broke open from the centre, revealing the hollowed middle part. The caption read, "A Giant Sesame Dango-The Largest in Japan! The dough, which started out the size of a fist, grew to twice the size of a face! At one point during cooking, a hole appeared, and the air whooshed out like a balloon deflating. I thought it was a failure, but as they kept rotating it, the hole disappeared, and it kept getting bigger! It was amazing to watch. The inside was completely hollow, with a chewy glutinous rice cake stuck to the bottom." While fellow cast member Jake Lockett's departure was confirmed, Ritter's future was left more ambiguous. Showrunner Andrea Newman had hinted earlier that there were 'lots of possibilities' around Ritter's return and that nothing was set in stone during Season 13's production. Newman had told TV Line in May that the show makers were going to experiment with all they can and see what results it would lead to and how much time they will get with Daniel Kyri. She added that the crew loved Daniel and his character Ritter as well. Shake-up at Chicago Fire The TV Line report added that Newman had acknowledged that the storyline, which hinted at layoffs within the Chicago Fire Department at the end of Season 13, was inspired by the current events. She had told the publication that it was not done intentionally for character exits but because 'it is so in the zeitgeist, people gutting departments' and added that 'it felt very real to the CFD'. She further stated that Chicago Fire is going to see a lot of new twists and turns. This, the report speculated, could be due to Kyri's limited return, which was intended to honor Ritter's passing and reflect on CFD's turmoil. Also Read: 'Who got hurt on Chicago Fire tonight?'
